Episode 103: Barian Vengeance (1)
In Barian World, Vector has called Mizar and Dumon to show that Alito and Girag have been reborn as they need their help. They're already aware of the next Mytherian Number card's location but if they hurry they can beat Yuma and crew to the punch. Alito still has a score to settle with Yuma and heads off. In the "ruins" of Spartan City, Yuma and crew have arrived and find that Tori and Rio have done shopping and have additional activities planned. Yuma walks ahead and finds Nistro is in a dueling tournament via TV. In said tournament, Nistro is about to face off against Musculeese the Magnificent and gets much crowd approval.
As Alito arrives, Nistro defeats his next opponent before encountering Yuma and crew and explains what he and Dextra are up to in the tournament. Yuma briefs Nistro and Dextra why they're here and elaborates over lunch/dinner while Alito requests directions to the ruins. Furthermore, Dextra notes of a legend where a warrior (really Alito as it's pretty clear, even from the drawings) battled with his bare hands and was eventually banished via false claims. With nightfall setting in, Rio suggests to deal with the underwater ruins in the morning. Regardless, Alito arrives to have some fun and while relaxing, Nistro gets an uneasy feeling and heads to the ruins. Using multiple Blast with Chain cards, Alito drains the city of its water but it doesn't go unnoticed as Astral gets Yuma and crew up to see it. However, when they arrive, Rio fears a dark power resides within.
Nistro finds himself outside the coliseum ruins while Dextra drives Yuma and the others to the ruins as she was convinced by Yuma's story. Meanwhile, Alito ventures deeper into the ruins and gets a feeling of deja vu but finds the card anyway and attempts to steal it. As a result, he's faced with a strong resistance but manages to over come it and obtain the card. Nistro arrives to catch Alito with the card but gets no answer as to what Alito is doing and neither does Yuma and crew when they arrive. Fearing the power will be too great, he hands the card to Nistro and uses Barian's Force to corrupt Nistro and force a tag duel that Yuma and Dextra agree to. Duel preparations get underway before Nistro draws and plays Heroic Challenger - Ambush Soldier (0000) in Attack Mode to end his turn.
Still in shock that Nistro was brainwashed, Yuma eventually relaxes before drawing and playing Gagaga Magician (1500) in Attack Mode. Next he uses Gagagamirror to make itself a copy of that monster for an Xyz Summon and that's what Yuma does to bring out Number 39: Utopia (2500) in Attack Mode. Finally, he sets 1 card to end his turn so Alito draws and sets a monster, then 1 card to end his turn. Dextra draws and also sets a monster but then sets 2 cards to end her turn. Nistro draws and plays Heroic Challenger - Clasp Sword (300) in Attack Mode. Next, he uses HCAS' effect to tribute itself and Special Summon Heroic Challenger - Double Lance (1700) and Heroic Challenger - Night Watchman (1200) in Attack Mode as Level 1 monsters. (The real card doesn't automatically make them Level 1 monsters but allows you to do so by removing itself from play from your Graveyard, not to mention the effect only works during your Standby Phase.)
With that, he uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 54: Lion Heart (100) in Attack Mode. Due to Number 54's first effect, it can't be destroyed in battle while in Attack Mode. Furthermore, Nistro attacks with it, dealing both he and Yuma 2400 damage, bringing them down to 1600. Alito would never sink so low as to have Nistro be his puppet but that was then and now he'll do anything to make Yuma pay for his own loss!
