Episode 70: A Trio's Challenge (2)
At the duel, Dr. Faker gloats having told them it was impossible to defeat him, especially now that he has Heart-earH's true form: Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon (0000) in Attack Mode. Dr. Faker would've lost but Heart-eartH had no Xyz Materials and was therefore Xyz Material for Number 92. Worse still, all their monsters are switched to Defense Mode since they were in Attack Mode when it was Summoned. Furthermore, Dr. Faker activates Fake Form to deal the trio 400 damage for each monster on their field since their monsters switched battle positions, forcing them to take 1200 damage but Kite is ready and discards Kuriphoton to reduce the damage to 0 by halving their LPs to 600. (The real card forces you to pay 2000 LPs, which is something these three couldn't do.)
Despite the pain, Kite agrees to continue but Dr. Faker thinks it's unwise and draws before attacking, revealing that not only is Number 92 indestructible in battle but Dr. Faker does not take Battle Damage and that damage is dealt to the trio instead. However, Shark is ready with Escape Lure to make Utopia the attack target and halve the Battle Damage. Yuma decides to further reduce the damage with Half Unbreak, bringing their score down to 100. Nevertheless, Due to Number 92's 2nd effect, Dr. Faker regains what they lost, raising his score to 2950. (The real card doesn't have this effect.) Dr. Faker sets 1 card to end his turn and Yuma gets a pep talk from Shark.
Yuma draws and uses Utopia as Xyz Material for Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray (Number C39: Utopia Ray in the CG) (2500) in Attack Mode.  His attack prompts him to activate Gamusharush to make his monster's ATK 0 and deal Dr. Faker 600 damage, bringing Dr. Faker down to 2350. Happy that things worked out, Yuma sets 1 card to end his turn. Shark draws and feels the pain of his injury with the Litterbot army. He fights to continue but Dr. Faker activates Number 92's 3rd effect to banish all cards the trio play during the next turn, taking Utopia Ray and Yuma's face-down card out of play. (The real card banishes all cards your opponent controls during the End Phase by detaching an Xyz Material.)
Shark knows that despite their differences, they all have a common goal to beat Dr. Faker and that's what they're going to do. Next, he draws and uses Shark Drake as Xyz Material for Chaos Number 32: Shark Drake Veiss (Number C32: Shark Drake Veiss in the CG) (2800) in Attack Mode. Then he uses Deep Sea Attack to discard Jawsman and let his monster attack Dr. Faker directly. However, Dr. Faker is ready with Fake Life to negate the attack and gain LPs equal to Shark Drake Veiss' ATK, raising his LPs to 5150. With that, Shark sets 1 card to end his turn and is really feeling the pain. Dr. Faker uses Number 92's 3rd effect once more but this is what Shark wanted as he activates Xyz Dimension Splash to Special Summon 2 Level 8 WATER monsters from his Deck since the card itself was banished. He Special Summons 2 Hyper-Ancient Shark Megalodon (2900 x2) in Attack Mode.
With the stage set, Kite takes his turn by using all three Level 8 monsters as Xyz Material for Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon (4500) in Attack Mode. Despite his limitations, Kite fights to hang on and uses NGEPD's effect to negate the effects of all other monsters on the field as well as take Number 92's Xyz Materials and give itself 500 ATK for each one gained, raising its ATK to 5000. His attack takes out Number 92 and leaves Dr. Faker on the ground and down to 150 LPs. Kite gives Dr. Faker one last chance to free Hart but there's nothing Dr. Faker can do as Hart needs Astral World to be destroyed in order to survive and thus they've been putting Hart in greater danger this entire time. Dr. Faker explains that Hart is reliant on Barian World's power and shares a story.
Dr. Faker didn't tell Kite sooner because Kite might've otherwise made things worse. However, Kite realizes that Dr. Faker put trust in Barian World without question but couldn't trust his own son. The trio agree to take matters into their own hands but Dr. Faker is possessed by the Barian powers and Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon reappears (0000) in Attack Mode (by its anime effect, which lets it come back if destroyed without Xyz Materials but they don't tell you that). The Barian gives them a chance to prove their worthiness in this duel but it's not over yet!
