The targeted GB monster doesn't even keep the boost and unless you have 2 GB monsters in your Grave, this card's a sitting duck. Rack up enough counters and you can deal 2500 damage! However, that's the most you can deal in a single turn with this card, unless you have multiple copies. Because it's specific on what monster you tribute and Special Summon, it loses 2 stars. Worst part is, you can't bring out GSS from your hand or Graveyard.

Your "fun /Assault Mode" deck will want as many copies of this card as possible. Just pray that you don't draw an /Assault Mode monster with this card's effect. Destroying all other monsters you have isn't worth bringing back an /Assault Mode "Normal Monster" that is prone to everything. It can give your Krebons 3200 total ATK or Psychic Commander 3400 ATK, both of which are respectable for their Levels but you won't have that much of a boost too often. While this card doesn't stay attached to the monster and is a Quick-Play, your newly summoned monsters are at risk for Lighting Vortex and Torrential Tribute.

If you control a monster you don't need, then this card isn't too bad but in most cases you'll draw this card and not need it. It puzzles me why Konami bothers making bad support for their own deck themes. This one is certainly among the bad support. At least you get to Special Summon a Morphtronic monster from your Grave and your Morphtronic Monsters get +300 ATK per counter this card has but it's only useful in Morphtronic decks. You're much better off using Dark Strike Fighter's effect than this card.

At least for all the effort it takes to get this guy out it has a Giant Trunade-like effect. There are minor uses with this card like Level Limit Area - B but the selected monster can still be tributed, nulling this card's other effect. Use this card right and you'll deal your opponent damage but avoid damage yourself but you'd have to tribute the monster before your opponent does or this card's effect activates. You'd have to pay large amounts of Life Points to bring out your high-level monsters like BEWD but it isn't too bad to use on monsters like Summoned Skull.

Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds' Greiger gets his Synchro monster in here but it's not a great one but it's better than Cannon Soldier. This card is absolutely ridiculous and I mean that in a good way! If it weren't for the specific Tuner monster, I'd have a big enough reason to rate it 5/5! Being a Level 9 monster makes it harder to use 2 monsters for its Synchro Summon and requiring Psychic-Type non-Tuner monsters makes it harder still. It has effects to make up for it though! Weak stats to start off but unless Skill Drain is active, it quickly gains 2000 ATK and 2 Spell Counters along with the effect to remove a Spell Counter it has to destroy an opponent's card!

"ATTEN-TION! I want to see all copies of this card out of your possession by 01200! Do I make myself clear?" I hope so since this guy isn't even a decent enough soldier to be drafted. While possessing the decent ATK for a Level 4 monster and an effect that lets him attack three times per Battle Phase, with each attack, you must Tribute an Aqua-Type monster. Use a better 1800 ATK monster. So Konami's bringing back Alien monsters... that's all fine and dandy but no one runs them anymore, they were barely ran back in POTD. Same as CRMS-EN038's comments.

At least it can deal Battle Damage after adapting virtually everything the selected monster has but even my scanner is more reliable since I can use it whenever I want and don't lose it when I do. Shuts down all Lightsworn and most DARK decks but won't last long on the field without protection. This guy won't even be able to protect himself from Man-Eaters, and more importantly Skill Drain. Far better than Desert Protector since he has 1000 more ATK and doesn't rely on anything else except an open Monster Card Zone for him to be played on.

What I want to know is which one of his froggy friends duped Konami into creating this card. It has at least 2000 DEF and is better than Des Frog but who really runs that or frogs anymore? Well Konami got the "flop and frog" right as this card was entirely a flop and will most likely never get used. While it has excellent stats for a Level 6 monster, its effect is more than enough to spoil that since it dies without any counters to remove and only gets counters when Special Summoned. I'll admit that Konami was rather clever with this card's name but its effect doesn't make this card very useful outside Plant decks.

Same as CRMS-EN023's comments. Contrary to the previous two cards, this card can play the role of a crappy Normal Monster or a supporter for your "fun /Assault Mode" deck. The Ultra Rare Monster Card version of Barrel Behind the Door and by far the crappier of the two. Use Barrel instead. Oh goodie, another lame GB monster suitable only for his own deck.

A powerful monster with a horrid summoning requirement but otherwise good effect. At least he brings out his "synchronized twin" Worthy only for the new Spellcaster Structure Deck and perhaps a "fun /Assault Mode" deck Most likely this guy won't be used for his effect but just for ordinary Synchro Summoning. He can play the role of a Normal Monster(playing him without using his effect) or as a supporter for your "fun /Assault Mode" deck.

The heavy summoning requirement and not being able to negate Flip Summons bring this card's rating down but his remaining effects keep him at a 3-star rating. Although horribly weak with such low ATK, in Morphtronic decks, this guy can be quite annoying if played correctly. Odds are more likely that he won't last very long at all, not even long enough for his effect without proper support and by using his effect, you lose most of that. Being a Level 8 monster, you can drop him in the Grave with Trade-In but that's all I really see for use with this guy since everything you bring back by his effect dies during the End Phase.

The big downside and reason for its low rating is that this card doesn't negate the summoning and you can't choose when to use the effect. It brings out the decent Flying Fortress SKY FIRE, leaving it with 2 stars. He at least has some DEF to hang on against the 1800 ATK monsters and can let you choose what Trap to negate and deal 800 damage to your opponent but overall just okay. Searchable by Mystic Tomato and Sangan but no match for most monsters, he too lets you choose what Spell Card to negate and inflict 800 damage to your opponent and is only worthy of 2 stars. A card not worthy of its rarity with so few monsters he can choose from. He is, however, worthy of 2 stars for being a Tuner monster.

A Tuner monster that will come in quite handy in Blackwing or Winged-Beast decks!  Like the Blackwing before him, this one can come out quickly as long as he hasn't cloned himself on your side of the field and he has trample but not as good as Gale the Whirlwind.   2000 ATK seems low for one tribute, but control no monsters and he doesn't need Tributes for his Normal Summon! He can also power up another Blackwing monster and still deal damage! His other effects leave his rating at 3. It's another Tuner monster but its effects and stats aren't enough for it to get a higher rating.

They say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" but Konami did just that to this guy and a few others in TDGS and in this set, when they were fine as is, although this card has more playability than CF/AM If he had some self-protection and could be Special Summoned by sending an opponents face up Trap to the Grave, this guy would've been given the perfect rating but still decent for Synchros.  At least he can deal extra damage when attacking Spirit Reaper or The Fool but not very good. It's a Tuner monster with a bizarre name and okay effect. Nothing more or less.

Another bad card makes its way to the Sneak Preview and SCR-in-set categories. I would much rather prefer the original than this. At least you can Special Summon it and this monster gets the tributed monster's ATK but if it leaves the field, all bonuses it had are lost. Still decent for Synchro Summoning and Warrior decks though. Thank goodness Konami gave it only a Rare status but I'm sure it'll live up to its name when experienced duelists rip it up for its horribleness.   Thanks to some card rulings and this guy being a Tuner monster, it gained an extra star in its rating. My advise is don't use it for Dragon Synchros unless you have Imperial Iron Wall handy.
