Episode 2

BD: Tonight on Battlebots, Semi-Finalist Mechanized Bird from last season battles rookie The Devil.

SS: Then newcomer Ronin MK II takes on El Diablo.

BD: Finally, Deadblow battles the returning robot Grendel.

SS: Hello and welcome to Battlebots I'm Sean Salisbury.

BD: I'm Bil Dwyer.

SS: Well our Battlebots tournament is underway and I'm impressed thus far, Bil.

BD: Fighting robots never really gets old, Sean and here's our first fight. Mechanized Bird has a powerful crushing arm and front wedge. His builder is Ian Lewis from Bournemouth. The Devil has treads as well as a front wedge and rear plow. His builder is Michael J. Kawecki of Longmont, Colorado.

 

SS: Let's go down to Mark Beiro who has the info.

MB: Introducing in the red square: It's not a bird, it's not a plane but it's the robot in the red corner MECHANIZED BIRD! And in the blue square: He's thirsty for robot blood and utter dominance and he's also THE DEVIL!

 

SS: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! The Devil getting underneath the much lower to the ground Mechanized Bird but can't push him around and Mechanized Bird now showing his weapons and letting his opponent take all the brutality. Take a look at that, the Pulverizor fell off, probably in fear of Mechanized Bird, who is pretty much dominating this fight.

 

BD: The Devil practically lifeless at this point, at least while he's on top of Mechanized Bird's front scoop. Not much he can do from there but he's still alive when he's on the arena floor. Such a sturdy bot that one is.

 

SS: You kinda need to be sturdy to absorb many of the blows dealt by Mechanized Bird as we end this bout. I think it's pretty clear who's won this but let's hear from Mark Beiro.

 

MB: The 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 26 to 7 decision for........the red square, MECHANIZED BIRD!

SS: No surprise there, Bil. What do you have for our next bout?

BD: El Diablo has a spinning barrel of death and a rear spiked wedge. His builder is Zach Bieber from Monrovia, California. His opponent is Ronin MKII who has a front plow and saw. His builder is Peter Abrahamson of Burbank, California.

 

SS: Let's get the info from Mark Beiro.

MB: Introducing in the red square: He is responsible for all the past bot disappearances and is proud of it! It's EL DIABLO! And in the blue square: Looking more like a table saw gone wrong is a robot hungry for crumpled pneumatics. Introducing RONIN MKII!

 

RR: Red driver, are you ready?

ZACH: I'm ready!

RR: El Diablo is ready!

BR: Blue driver, are you ready?

PETER: Ready!

BR: Ronin MKII is ready!

SS: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! It's El Diablo against Ronin MKII and right now both robots having some difficulty turning the match in their favor. Take a look at that, Ronin's little plow is on the arena floor and El Diablo is taking full advantage and delivering Ronin MKII around the box.

 

BD: Little bit of a stand-off there but looks like Ronin MKII is going to come out on top as he now is underneath El Diablo and taking him to the Screws and El Diablo appears to be stuck.

 

SS: This looks like the end for El Diablo here as he's unable to move and it is now over. Ronin MKII taking the win right before the bell and here's Mark Beiro with the final results.

MB: Ladies and gentlemen: The time: 2 minutes, 55 seconds. The winner, by a knockout in the blue corner, RONIN MKII!

SS: There you have it, Ronin MKII moving to round 2. How about that last bout for us, Bil?

BD: You got it. Grendel was built by Daniel Rupert from San Diego, California. Deadblow is Grant Imahara's creation and features a CO2 powered flipper. Grant comes from Oakland, California.

 

SS: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Deadblow with early punishment on Grendel, who is now on his back on the Screws. Grendel back over now but is taking more punishment as he is thrown into the corner with the Pulverizor but one of his drive wheels appears to be disabled, Bil.

 

BD: That's the worst time you want to have half of your drive train fail, especially if you're large like Grendel.

SS: Deadblow going through with little to deal with back in the Pits. The final results are in.

MB: Ladies and gentlemen: The time: 1 minute. The winner, by a knockout, in the blue square, DEADBLOW!

SS: What a night of fights. Bil, wrap it up for us.

BD: Mechanized Bird trashed his opponent by slamming him all over the box. Ronin MKII took a come-from-behind victory against El Diablo in an amazing knockout. Finally, Deadblow, with 2 flicks of his flipper, put Grendel out of commission.

Episode 1

SS: Strap yourselves in because it's going to be a bumpy ride as Dantomkia has his sights on Double Chaos.

BD: Then In a rematch from Season 4, Bad Attitude fights Complete Control.

SS: Finally, Son of Whyachi throws down with Minion. Hello and welcome to this new season of Battlebots, I'm Sean Salisbury and with me is my faithful partner Bil Dwyer.

 

BD: Thanks, Sean. Good to have you back this season.

SS: My pleasure, Bil. Now tell us about our new arena.

BD: It's going to feel like Season 2 all over again, Sean. We have the return of the Screws and a modified Spike Strip that's sure to leave many robots hanging. The only thing we won't have much of anymore is a robot sticking out of the arena wall like we had so much of last season. Plus we have some old bot favorites returning and some newcomers so here's our first fight. Returning champ Dantomkia has a powerful flipping arm and  was built by Mike Lamberts of Britain. Double Chaos also has a powerful flipper and was built by George Francis of Ipswich.

 

SS: Thanks Bil now let's get to the introductions with Mark Beiro.

MB: Introducing in the red square: He's black, he's back and he's got plenty of whack. He's DOUBLE CHAOS! And in the blue square: It's got a long pointy body, a strong flipping arm and it's also the returning champ DANTOMKIA!

 

RR: Red driver, are you ready?

GEORGE: I'm ready!

RR: Double Chaos is ready!

BR: Blue driver, are you ready?

MIKE: Ready!

BR: Dantomkia is ready!

SS: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Double Chaos on the aggressive here against the champ Dantomkia and it looks like Dantomkia is stuck on those Screws there, Bil.

BD: I'm right with you on that, Sean. Dantomkia must get down and he does. It's pretty amazing that Double Chaos can get underneath Dantomkia like he just did there and Dantomkia is now on the Spike Strip near the Pulverizor.

 

SS: Take a look at that, Dantomkia gets away but the Pulverizor lands a couple of blows. Not what I expected from the returning champ at all, Bil.

 

BD: Double Chaos with another flip and Dantomkia isn't moving. He can right himself but it looks like he's pinned under the Spike Strip.

SS: An amazing upset by Double Chaos. Here comes the final decision.

MB: Ladies and gentlemen: The time, 2 minutes, 2 seconds. The winner, by a knockout in the red square, DOUBLE CHAOS!

SS: What a turn-up for the books as our former champ goes down.

BD: Double Chaos also lost in another tournament in the opening round so he probably knows how Dantomkia feels.

SS: What do you have for our next pair?

BD: Bad Attitude is Thomas Petruccelli's creation and features a nasty wedge front. Thomas is from San Jose, California. Derek Young's Complete Control is a grabber bot with front forks and that grabber. Derek Young comes from Burnaby, British Columbia.

 

SS: Mark Beiro has all the statistics.

MB: Introducing in the red square: Getting hit by his front wedge is like running over a bed of nails. It's BAD ATTITUDE! And in the blue square: Determined for domination over all of his opponents is the robot in the blue corner, COMPLETE CONTROL!

 

SS: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Complete Control getting his weapon to work but missing on Bad Attitude. Good driving by Thomas Petruccelli not allowing Complete Control to get a hold of him.

 

BD: Complete Control has Bad Attitude now and tossed him over!

SS: This is exactly what Complete Control has in store and Bad Attitude is now in big trouble with that inverted wedge.

BD: Luckily, Thomas made it so Bad Attitude can run the same way up as when he's right-side up but right now Complete Control is taking him to the Pulverizor and Bad Attitude is now on his side.

 

SS: Bad Attitude is just short of the Pulverizor, which could right him and I think Complete Control is trying to help Bad Attitude out a bit but it's not working and Bad Attitude's countdown has begun.

SS: Domination by Complete Control. Lets hear from Mark Beiro.

MB: Ladies and gentlemen: The time, 1 minute 15 seconds. The winner, by a knockout in the blue corner, COMPLETE CONTROL!

SS: Complete Control dominates and moves on. Bil how about our last bout?

BD: You got it. Son of Whyachi features an overhead blade and was built by Terry Ewert of Dorchester, Wisconsin. Minion has a front wedge and rear saw and was built by Christian Carlberg of North Hollywood, California.

 

SS: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! It's Minion vs Son of Whyachi and right now both robots are in a stalemate and can't get underneath each other. Take a look at that, one of Minion's side plates is open but he gets underneath Son of Whyachi and takes him to the Pulverizor.

 

BD: It looks like they're stuck together but Minion gives Son of Whyachi a taste of the Killsaws and Whyachi is free.

SS: Oh look at the damage done to Minion as his self-righting mechanism flies off and the other side panel is torn open by Son of Whyachi. Minion's on his back but this one's over as Minion just lost his self-righting mechanism on the Battlebox floor.

SS: Another knockout for the night and  Son of Whyachi moves on. Let's make it official with Mark Beiro.

 

MB: Ladies and gentlemen: The time, 1 minute 35 seconds. The winner by a knockout, in the blue square, SON OF WHYACHI!

SS: What a way to bring in the new tournament, Bil. Can you give us the replays?

BD: Double Chaos tossed Dantomkia out of the competition in just over 2 minutes. Complete Control took Bad Attitude all over then delivered the final blow to put Bad Attitude on his side. Finally, Son of Whyachi delivered a death blow on Minion to advance.

Episode 21

BIL: Tonight's episode will reveal the Battlebots champion but 2 battles are left with Mechanized Bird facing Ankle Biter.

TIM: The winner of the first bout takes on Dantomkia for the championship title. Welcome to Battlebots and I'm Tim Green with my partner thirsty for robot carnage, Bil Dwyer.

 

BIL: This is what we've been waiting for. Just two bouts left and we'll have the Giant Nut presentation. Here's our first bout. Mechanized Bird has a front scoop and crushing beak. His builder is Ian Lewis from Bournemouth. Ankle Biter has a front wedge with an embedded saw. Jon McKenzie made this robot and comes from Ukiah, California.

 

TIM: Mark Beiro has more.

MARK: Introducing in the red square: He's hungry for a big bowl of severed robot parts. It's MECHANIZED BIRD! And in the blue square: His to-do list is small because there's only one thing he needs done: defeat you from the tournament! Introducing ANLKE BITER!

 

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

IAN: I am ready!

RED REF: Mechanized Bird is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

JON: Ready!

BLUE REF: Ankle Biter is ready!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Mechanized Bird gets right underneath the wedge of Ankle Biter and uses his beak but it looks like the beak is ineffective, Bil.

 

BIL: If that keeps up, others might end up copying Ankle Biter's armor design, Tim.  Now Ankle Biter is in a pretty bad spot as Mechanized Bird got him right between the tire and the body.

TIM: Ankle Biter taking a beating from the Pulverizor and Mechanized Bird is struggling to get his wings down and does. Ankle Biter, really having nothing to use to get underneath Mechanized Bird's low wedge design. Mechanized Bird has Ankle Biter in the beak again and brings him again to the Pulverizor, which has been torn off by the first hit! Mechanized Bird, still with Ankle Biter, slams him into the wall and Ankle Biter is on his side!

 

BIL: What a shame for Ankle Biter. He comes in tournament after tournament only to end up where he doesn't want.

BLUE REF: 10.........9..............8.............7............6.............5.............4

TIM: Mechanized Bird meets Dantomkia in the finals. Let's get the final decision.

MARK: Ladies and gentlemen: The time, 2 minutes, 17 seconds. The winner, by a knockout..........in the red square, MECHANIZED BIRD!

TIM: So Mechanized Bird with the KO over Ankle Biter. How does this championship bout look, Bil?

BIL: Dantomkia has a lethal flipping arm and was built by Mike Lamberts from Britain. Ian Lewis made Mechanized Bird with a crushing beak and front wedge. Ian is from Bournemouth.

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's championship robot fightin' time! Dantomkia coming right out and tossing Mechanized Bird! Dantomkia underneath Mechanized Bird and taking him to the Pulverizor, which has snapped off again!

 

BIL: We need a new Pulverizor now.

TIM: Mechanized Bird finding an opening and uses his weapon, slamming Dantomkia into the wall. Mechanized Bird takes a shot from the Killsaws, then is tossed once more and Dantomkia is on his back end!

 

BIL: That'd be horrible for Dantomkia to go out now but he's on his wheels now.

TIM: Dantomkia, saving himself from losing early and tossing Mechanized Bird once more and this bout is over.

BIL: What a Battlebots final!

TIM: Mark Beiro has the champion.

MARK: Ladies and gentlemen: The 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 23 to 8 decision to the winner..........and Battlebots champion........the blue square, DANOTMKIA! Here is the giant nut award to the Battlebots winner.........Dantomkia and Mike Lamberts! *Mike comes on and takes his prize, holding it up to the crowd, then leaves*

 

TIM: What a season it has been. Bil, give us the replays of this great end to this Battlebots tournament.

BIL: Mechanized Bird tore through Ankle Biter but didn't have the muster to survive against our champion Dantomkia.

TIM: We hope you've enjoyed this Battlebots season as much as we have. For everyone on our team, I'm Tim Green.

Episode 20

TIM: The semi finals continue with 6 more robots thirsty for annihilation and Mechanized Bird is hunting ShoveMaster2000.

BIL: Ankle Biter is lookin' to cut-up Tazbot.

TIM: Finally, Dantomkia looks to over-throw Stinger. This is Battlebots and I'm Tim Green along with my partner Bil Dwyer.

BIL: We've seen some nasty robots in this tournament, Tim. Since a lot of them are so nasty that they're still in this tournament, I'm sure they'll continue their reign like with our first fight. ShoveMaster2000 has a front scoop and is invertible. His builder is Ramiro Mallari from San Francisco. Mechanized Bird is created by Ian Lewis and features a crushing beak.  Ian comes from Bournemouth.

 

MARK: Introducing in the red square: What's that burning? It must be the motors burning from the work of MECHANIZED BIRD! And in the blue square: He won't give you the inside story but he will show you the exit door. Introducing SHOVEMASTER2000!

 

RED REF: Red driver are you ready?

IAN: I am ready!

RED REF: Mechanized Bird is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

RAMIRO: Ready!

BLUE REF: ShoveMaster2000 is ready!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Mechanized Bird using his beak to get underneath ShoveMaster2000's scoop design but ShoveMaster escapes.

 

BIL: The weapon of Mechanized Bird......so powerful.

TIM: Mechanized Bird, controlling this fight and taking ShoveMaster to the Pulverizor! ShoveMaster, unscathed but hazard points awarded to Mechanized Bird. Mechanized Bird underneath ShoveMaster again and taking him the Killsaws and the Spike Strip.  ShoveMaster, unable to use his scoop to get underneath Mechanized Bird at all. Mechanized Bird delivering ShoveMaster to the Pulverizor and Mechanized Bird himself takes a shot. Both bots taking a hit from the Killsaws and it looks to me like Mechanized Bird's wings are stuck outward.

 

BIL: That hit from the Pulverizor must've jammed the mechanism that allows the wings to open and close.

TIM: Both robots still mobile so we await the judges decision with Mark Beiro.

MARK: The 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 30 to 6 decision for......... the red square, MECHANIZED BIRD!

TIM: Mechanized Bird through to the second half of our semi-finals. Bil. How about our next bout?

BIL: Jon McKenzie's Ankle Biter has a front wedge with an embedded saw. Jon McKenzie comes from Ukiah, California. Tazbot is the creation of Donald Hutson and has a  rear wedge and a 360 degree turret. Don comes from San Diego, California.

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Nose-to-nose between both bots! Tazbot underneath Ankle Biter but Ankle Biter able to slip away. Ankle Biter now underneath Tazbot and driving him to the Pulverizor! Tazbot taking damage from the Killsaws then gives Ankle Biter a taste of the Spikes! Ankle Biter running underneath Tazbot, then flipping him near the Pulverizor.

 

BIL: This is startin' to remind me of Vlad the Impaler vs Biohazard, Tim.

TIM: Maybe that's what these two drivers had in mind, Bil. Tazbot must get away from the Pulverizor to avoid damage and he does. Ankle Biter bringing Tazbot to the Pulverizor again and Tazbot looks to be stuck on the Spike Strip but is free, then gives Ankle Biter a second dose of the Spike Strip. Ankle Biter gets Tazbot stuck on the spikes again in the final seconds of this bout.

 

BIL: This is a close bout, let's see what the judges say.

MARK: The 3 judges at  arena side have turned in a 26 to 15 decision for...........the blue corner, ANKLE BITER!

TIM: Ankle Biter takes a slot for the second half of the Semis. Bil. Tell us about our last bout.

BIL: Dantomkia is Mike Lambert's design and features a powerful flipper. Mike comes from Britain. Stinger has a battle mace and is built by  Kevin Scott from England.

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Dantomkia tossing Stinger into the air but Stinger can run all ways up. Stinger using his weapon as he is tossed once again into the air. Dantomkia, delivering Stinger to the Pulverizor. Stinger whacking Dantomkia and tossed again. Stinger with a big shot on Dantomkia. Dantomkia making Stinger airborne but is flipped over himself!

 

BIL: Dantomkia's really struggling to get back over, Tim and I can't blame him. He's made it this far and doesn't want to lose. Neither does Stinger, though.

TIM: Dantomkia, on his back end and taking numerous shots from the Pulverizor. His referee is trying to count Dantomkia out but this bout is over.

 

BIL: Really tough fight to call, both bots were aggressive.

TIM: The judges decision is in.

MARK: The 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 27 to 22 decision for............the red square, DANTOMKIA!

TIM: Dantomkia escapes a near-loss and moves to take a spot in the finals. Bil recap tonight's fights.

BIL: Mechanized Bird advances after crushing ShoveMaster2000's hopes of advancing. Ankle Biter fought a hard bout with Tazbot but Tazbot didn't have enough to steal the victory. Finally, Dantomkia earns a spot in the finals after battling it out against the tough robot, Stinger.

 

TIM: For everyone on our team, I'm Tim Green.

Episode 19

BIL: Battlebots will be startin' the Semis tonight but first The Judge must battle it out against Tazbot.

TIM: On to the Semi Finals as Dantomkia has Diesector on its victim list.

BIL: Finally, the evasive Stinger battles the quick and powerful Vlad II.

TIM: Battlebots, where carnage and destruction reign supreme. Welcome everyone, I'm Tim Green and with my partner Bil Dwyer.

BIL: Thanks, Tim. We've been kickin' up the action up a notch each bout, Tim. Let's see who our first pair is. Donald Hudson's Tazbot has a 360 degree rotating turret and front wedge fenders. Donald comes from San Diego, California. The Judge has a nasty hammer and is built by Jascha Little of Austin Texas.

 

TIM: It's Mark Beiro time with his intros.

MARK: Introducing in the red square to my right: How does he find his opponent? Guilty of defeat! It's THE JUDGE! And in the blue square: The only thing on his menu is his enemy's robot parts. Here is TAZBOT!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! The Judge coming out with his hammer swinging. Tazbot using his turret to try and flip The Judge over but gets underneath him and takes him to the Pulverizor! The Judge, not moving and taking relentless pounding.

 

RED REF:10.........9...........8...........7............6..........5..........4

TIM: Tazbot's little shove has allowed the Pulverizor to free The Judge!

BIL: Tazbot's arm isn't too effective against the low Judge.

TIM: Though Tazbot is using his front wedge to again get underneath The Judge and bring him back to the Pulverizor, which has now snapped off!

BIL: The Pulverizor committed suicide.

TIM: Yes and Tazbot still underneath The Judge and putting him on his side! The Judge looks to be out, Bil.

BIL: That arm of The Judge looks to be stuck on the fallen Pulverizor, Tim.

RED REF: 10...........9............8.............7............6...............5.............4

............3...........2............1............stop the match!

TIM: Tazbot wins it in 2 minutes and 25 seconds. Bil, what do you know about our next pair?

BIL: Quite a bit, Tim. Diesector is Donald Hudson's other robot in this tourney and features jaws and a rear wedge. Dantomkia has its powerful lifting arm and was built by Mike Lamberts of Britain.

 

TIM: Mark Beiro has his info on these two.

MARK: Introducing in the red square: This robot eats the nuts and bolts of his most recent victim. It's DIESECTOR! And in the blue square: What's that in the corner? It must be the remains of another robot destroyed by DANTOMKIA!

 

RED REF: Red driver are you ready?

DONALD: I am ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver are you ready?

MIKE: Ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Dantomkia up underneath Diesector but can't flip him.

BIL: Diesector has his upper jaw below his lower ones to fend off Dantomkia's flipper and it seems to be working, Tim.

TIM: Diesector up and over Dantomkia. Dantomkia under Diesector again and tosses him into the wall! Diesector trying to free himself from the wall but his wheels aren't going far.

 

RED REF: 10............9...........8...........7..........6...........5........4

BIL: Dantomkia's on to the second half of the Semis!

TIM: Let's get the results from Mark Beiro.

MARK: Ladies and gentlemen: The time,  54 seconds. The winner, by a knockout, in the blue square, DANTOMKIA!

TIM: Dantomkia quickly knocks out Diesector. Bil, how about our last bout?

BIL: Stinger is a two-wheeled robot with a bludgeoning axe for a weapon. His builder is Kevin Scott from England. Vlad II is Gage Cauchois' newest robot into this tournament and has his old Vlad the Impaler robot's forklift for a weapon.

 

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

KEVIN: Yes.

RED REF: Stinger is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

GAGE: Yes I am.

BLUE REF: Vlad II is ready!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Vlad II underneath Stinger and slamming him into the wall! Stinger takes punishment from Vlad II again and attacks Vlad II with his weapon. Stinger, now going into a spin mode and throwing Vlad around the box! Look out, Vlad II taking another big hit from Stinger.

 

BIL: Stinger, harder to drive but harder to fight against and he's really hitting Vlad II.

TIM: Stinger flipping Vlad II but Vlad II right back on his wheels. Vlad II is hit on his self-righter and it looks to be disabled, Bil.

BIL: Gage added a light on top to let him know when his self-righting mechanism failed it's blinking read now so if Vlad II is flipped now, it's over.

 

TIM: Stinger moves on through a 26 to 19 Judges Decision. Bil, how about the replays?

BIL: Tazbot knocked out The Judge after flipping it onto its side with the fallen Pulverizor, which had been pounding on The Judge earlier, now held the weapon in place, earning Tazbot the last slot in the Semi Finals. Dantomkia took a quick win after flipping Diesector into the wall and pinning him there. Stinger thrashed Vlad II all over the box to earn a 26 to 19 Judges Decison to advance.

Episode 18

TIM: ShoveMaster2000, our star pusher, has sighs on the finals but will he get past Question Mark?

BIL: Mechanized Bird is hungry for robot metal and Atomic Wedgie has plans to stop him.

TIM: Ankle Biter is lookin' to get underneath New Cruelty and feed him to the Arena gods. Welcome to the Quarter-Finals of Battlebots everyone, I'm Tim Green.

 

BIL: I'm Bil Dwyer. Oh man, Tim. Every week we're seein' some impressive hits, flips and slams. Here's our first pair. ShoveMaster2000 has his effective scoop wedge. Ramiro Mallari built him and is from San Francisco, California. Question Mark is Carlo Bertoccini's battered version of Biohazard. Carlo is from Belmont, California.

 

TIM: It's intro time with Mark Beiro.

MARK: This is a Battlebots elimination contest. Introducing in the red square: If you want to get the scoop from him, you'll get a face full of pain. It's SHOVEMASTER2000! And in the blue square: There's no question about this robot. He's going to attempt to take away your victory. It's QUESTION MARK!

 

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

RAMIRO: I'm ready!

RED REF: ShoveMaster2000 is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

CARLO: I am ready!

BLUE REF: Question Mark is ready!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! ShoveMaster taking Question Mark into the wall early. ShoveMaster up underneath Question Mark again and Question Mark's left front skirt appears to be bent upwards. Question Mark underneath ShoveMaster and flipping him over!

BIL: This is where having only one wedge comes back to hurt you. Now ShoveMaster is an easy target for Question Mark.

TIM: Question Mark, driving ShoveMaster to the Pulverizor! Question Mark has taken control of this fight and is now slamming ShoveMaster into the Spikes! ShoveMaster, really unable to get underneath Question Mark with his inverted wedge and is taking another beating from the Pulverizor! Oh ShoveMaster flipped back over! ShoveMaster, on top of Question Mark and this bout is over.

 

BIL: Tough fight to call. Both showed aggression and damage.

TIM: Mark Beiro has the results.

MARK: The 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 20 to 18 decision for...........the red square, SHOVEMASTER2000!

TIM: An unprecedented narrow win for ShoveMaster. Bil, tell us about our next bout.

BIL: Rupert Everhart's Atomic Wedgie has a front wedge and side tri-foils. Rupert comes from Columbia, Maryland. Ian Lewis' Mechanized Bird has a hydraulic crushing beak and a front scoop. Ian comes from Bournemouth.

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Mechanized Bird with an early slam on Atomic Wedgie. Atomic Wedgie, taking numerous shots from the Pulverizor.

 

BIL: Mechanized Bird is clearly the better bot here, Tim. That scoop is much lower than Atomic Wedgie's.

TIM: Atomic Wedgie taking another brutal slam into the wall and another few hits from the Pulverizor. Oh Mechanized Bird takes a few shots as well! Atomic Wedgie looks to be stuck in the corner with the Pulverizor but it doesn't appear that the Pulverizor is hitting him Bil. Atomic Wedgie is now free again but is pushed back to the Pulverizor and loses the cover on the wedge.

 

BIL: The Pulverizor is stuck inside Atomic Wedgie's exposed innards, Tim. Mechanized Bird moving on to the Semis.

TIM: Let's get the official word from the box.

MARK: The 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 23 to 9 decision for.........the blue square, MECHANIZED BIRD!

TIM: Atomic Wedgie blown away by Mechanized Bird. Bil, what about our last bout?

BIL: Ankle Biter has a classic wedge and a saw inside the wedge. John McKenzie built him and is from Ukiah, California. New Cruelty has a front plow as his weapon. Richard Stuplich built him and is from Wasaw, Wisconsin.

 

TIM: Mark Beiro is ready.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square:  Many have inflicted pain and punishment in the past but none can compare to NEW CRUELTY! And in the blue square: Keep your feet away from the metal shark known as ANKLE BITER!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Ankle Biter underneath New Cruelty's plow and slams him into the wall. New Cruelty, getting slammed into the wall again, then delivered to the Pulverizor!

BIL: Looks like NC is stuck on the Spike Strip now, Tim.

TIM: Is it over? This could be victory for Ankle Biter but no, NC escapes! New Cruelty is damaged by the Killsaws then slammed again by Ankle Biter and is now up against the wall.

BIL: Talk about an awkward position, Tim. New Cruelty isn't completely on his side here and now he's sliding off the arena wall!

TIM: Now he's on his reverse side and doesn't have any protection against Ankle Biter, who continues to slam him into the wall and I think this time it's over.

 

BIL: New Cruelty isn't against the wall this time and Ankle Biter wants to make sure that he doesn't get back over.

TIM: Look out, Ankle Biter takes a shot from the Pulverizor but New Cruelty isn't able to move at all.

BIL: You got it, Tim. ShoveMaster2000 took the narrow win over Question Mark. Then Mechanized Bird dominated over Atomic Wedgie to advance. Finally, Ankle Biter gave New Cruelty a beating out of the tournament.

BIL: The carnage of round 3 continues. Dantomkia has been flippin' his way through this tournament but is he enough for Giant Cheese?

TIM: Another newcomer bout as Stinger fights Sliceratops.

BIL: Is Vlad II prepared to face the wrath of X-orcist? Find out!

TIM: Hello and welcome to Battlebots everyone I'm Tim Green and this is my partner that shares the carnage with me, Bil Dwyer.

BIL: Man, the Quarter Finals are here, Tim. So many bots have died in the Battlebox.

TIM: There's plenty more for the robot graveyard, Bil.

BIL: Let's find out which of our 6 will end up there with our first bout. Mike Lamberson's Dantomkia has a powerful flipping arm. Mike comes from Britain. Giant Cheese is Roger Plant's creation and also features a flipper. Roger is from Langport.

 

TIM: Mark Beiro has more.

MARK: Introducing in the red square: Your hopes: Grated. Your dreams: shredded and your robot: destroyed. It's GIANT CHEESE! And in the blue square: His opponents forfeit when they see his extensively long victim record. Introducing DANTOMKIA!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Dantomkia tossing Giant Cheese into the air and on his back. Giant Cheese having trouble getting back over but Dantomkia puts him on his side!

 

BIL: Giant Cheese won't have much going on now, Tim.

TIM: Not yet, Bil but Dantomkia is taking Giant Cheese to the Pulverizor and Giant Cheese is taking a brutal pounding. Oh Giant Cheese is now on his own flipper and unable to move! Dantomkia with another pop on Giant Cheese and Giant Cheese has gained back some mobility! Giant Cheese is on his flipper once again!

 

BIL: Is he going to flip Giant Cheese again? Aww, I guess not.

TIM: Dantomkia takes the win with 20 seconds left in the match. Bil how about our next bout?

BIL: Stinger has a battle mace for his weapon. Kim Scott built him and is from England. Sliceratops has flipping tusks and a rear flywheel. Her builder is James Davis.

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Stinger up underneath Sliceratops and slams her into the wall. Sliceratops, looking for any way to get underneath Stinger but how can you get underneath Stinger, Bil?

 

BIL: With a robot like Stinger, you can but it won't be too effective.

TIM: Stinger, spinning and attacking Sliceratops. Oh Sliceratops on her side! Stinger, taking Sliceratops to the Pulverizor and letting her take a severe pounding!

 

BIL: I think Stinger's trying to flip Sliceratops completely over but he's only flipping himself.

TIM: Oh Sliceratops is miraculously back over! Not much time left, Bil. I've got Stinger winning this one.

BIL: So do I, Tim. That's it.

TIM: Just two more bouts for round 2 and round 3 will be ready for more severed robot parts. The Judge hopes that Nightmare dreams of defeat.

 

BIL: Mauler 5150 wants to leave Tazbot in ruins on the Battlebox floor.

TIM: Diesector has Deadblow in his sights for his next victim in robotic annihilation. Welcome to Battlebots, I'm Tim Green.

BIL: I'm Bil Dwyer.

TIM: This tournament has come a long way since it began.

BIL: It sure has and each fight thus far has been brutal. Here's how our first pair matches up. The Judge had decimated Bad Attitude to get here and has a lightning-fast hammer. His builder is Jascha Little of Austin, Texas.  Nightmare trashed Mac Attack earlier and has his spinning blade of death. Jim Smentowski built him and is from Novato, California.

 

TIM: Mark Beiro's intros are here.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: He haunts you in your sleep and destroys your hopes of victory. It's NIGHTMARE! And in the blue square: Order in the court! The case of your victory or defeat is now in session but you're found guilty of defeat by THE JUDGE!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! The Judge coming out aggressively with his weapon. Nightmare keeping his blade forward.

 

BIL: The Judge's weapon has been so aggressive in previous tournaments, Tim.

TIM: It's only getting more aggressive, Bil as it strikes Nightmare on his blade and then his topside. Nightmare taking damage from the Killsaws.

 

BIL: Nightmare's not moving, Tim. This isn't like Nightmare unless he's been damaged badly from his trip over the Killsaws.

TIM: The Judge with the quick win over Nightmare in a minute fifteen. Bil, how about the next match?

 

BIL: Tazbot is not only my favorite robot but also the creation of Donald Hutson, featuring a rotating turret as his weapon. Donald comes from San Diego, California. Mauler 5150 was built by Morgan Tilford and has spinning chisels for its weapons.

 

TIM: Here are the intros.

MARK: Introducing in the red square: There's only one thing this robot wants for lunch: Your victory! Introducing TAZBOT! And in the blue square: He's so crazy psychiatrists won't come near him. It's MAULER 5150!

 

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

DONALD: I'm ready.

RED REF: Tazbot is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

MORGAN: Darn right!

BLUE REF: Mauler 5150 is ready!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Tazbot using his turret to deflect the blows of Mauler. Mauler using his chisels to tear up the side of Tazbot but is sent wobbling by Tazbot. Tazbot flipped over by Mauler!

 

BIL: Mauler showin' some power there, Tim.

TIM: Tazbot back over and takes a shot from the Killsaws. Mauler with a shot from the Pulverizor. Oh, Mauler on his side and Tazbot near the Killsaws!

TIM: Tazbot makes the final slot for round 3. How does our first round 3 bout look, Bil?

BIL: I got it right here, Tim. Deadblow is the creation of Grand Imahara and features a flipping arm. His wedge was torn off in an earlier bout. Grant comes from Oakland California. Donald Hutson brings his second robot to the table, Diesector, who features jaws and a rear wedge.

 

TIM: Mark Beiro has more.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: This robot got into college majoring in the science of robot annihilation. It's DIESECTOR! And in the blue square: He's not about to flip your burgers, pancakes or eggs. He's about to flip you all around and inside out. Meet DEADBLOW!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Deadblow with an early flip. Diesector now inverted but unaffected by the flip.

 

BIL: I'm not so sure, Tim. I think it helped Diesector as now one of his jaws is flat with the Battlebox floor so he can now get underneath Deadblow.

 

TIM: Deadblow with the flip but unable to bring Diesector right-side up. Diesector flipping Deadblow onto his back but Deadblow rights himself. Deadblow with another attempt at flipping but misses and his flipper appears to be stuck upright. Diesector, taking advantage and slamming Deadblow into the wall. Deadblow looks to be stuck in the Spike Strip, Bil.

 

BIL: He's got one wheel on the outside of the Battlebox, Tim. That should be it for him unless he can break free.

BIL: The Judge pounded the victory strategy out of Nightmare and knocked him out. Tazbot gave Mauler another loss to add to its long list. Finally, Diesector put an end to Deadblow's reign in the Battlebox.

Episode 15

BIL: Ian Lewis' two machines are going for a brawl and one of them will be the sacrifice to the Battlebox.

TIM: New Cruelty puts his 4 wheels and near-indestructible frame to the test against the veteran Dooall.

BIL: Ankle Biter fights Ginsu to see what the better number of blades is.

TIM: Welcome to Battlebots, I'm Tim Green and we're winding down the second round bouts.

BIL: It's been a spectacular road so far and there's plenty more where that came from like with our first fight. Mechanized Bird was built by Ian Lewis and features a crushing arm and front scoop. Ian Lewis comes from Bournemouth. Warhead is also Ian Lewis' creation but has wings for self-righting and a front spinning dome.

 

TIM: Mark Beiro has the rest of the info.

MARK: Introducing in the red square: The day of doom and gloom is upon you if you face WARHEAD! And in the blue square: It's a bird, it's a plane, and it's a vicious robot named MECHANIZED BIRD!

 

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

IAN: Ready!

RED REF: Warhead is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

VINNIE: I'm ready!

BLUE REF: Mechanized Bird is ready!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Mechanized Bird using his crushing beak on Warhead and takes him to the Pulverizor early. Warhead loses his main weapon on the arena floor.

 

BIL: Just goes to show the power of the Pulverizor.

TIM: Mechanized Bird releases Warhead temporarily as you can only hold a robot for 30 seconds. Mechanized Bird, controlling this fight and delivering Warhead to the Pulverizor and taking not only pieces of Warhead but the Pulverizor itself!

 

BIL: This isn't like Warhead at all. Normally he's tearing up his opponent so the driver of Mechanized Bird must be the better one or the lack of Warhead's weapon is leaving Mechanized Bird with an easy fight. The Pulverizor there didn't come down. Must be a malfunction or something.

 

TIM: A temporary break for Warhead. Mechanized Bird now leaving Warhead at the Spike Strip but Warhead breaks free. Mechanized Bird gets in a final delivery of Warhead to the Spike Strip and this one's over.

 

BIL: No knockout but it's pretty clear Mechanized Bird is movin' on, Tim.

TIM: Who won well let's get the answer from Mark Beiro.

MARK: Ladies and gentleman: The 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 20 to 14 decision for..........................the blue square, MECHANIZED BIRD!

 

TIM: Mechanized Bird ate Warhead alive, Bil.

BIL: Oh he did, Tim. There was barely anything left of Warhead after the fight. Speaking of fights, here's our next pair. Richard Stuplick brings New Cruelty with 4 wheels and a front plow. Richard comes from Wasaw, Wisconsin. Dooall is the creation of Scott LaValley and features a spring-loaded ramrod. Scott comes from San Rafael, California.

 

TIM: Mark Beiro's intros are here.

MARK: Introducing in the red square to my right: He doesn't want half, he doesn't want 3/4, he wants to DOOALL! And in the blue square: This robot wants a new kind of punishment. It's not a timeout, it's not annoying music, it's NEW CRUELTY!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! New Cruelty finding an opening in Dooall and bringing the robot to the Pulverizor. Dooall takes a shot from the Killsaws. Oh Dooall flipped over but that doesn't matter to Dooall. New Cruelty, pushing Dooall around the box and nearly leaving him on his side. Dooall appears to have lost one of the top covers on the Battlebox floor, Bil.

 

BIL: It's the cover that keeps his weapon from getting stuck underneath him, Tim. That'll probably count against him in the scoring.

TIM: Oh New Cruelty airborne and appears to be stuck on the Spikes!

BIL: He's also close to the Pulverizor, which looks to be caught up right now, Tim. That's it. Tough fight to call.

TIM: New Cruelty wins the bout 24 to 19. A narrow escape for the robot. Bil, what do you got on our last bout tonight?

BIL: Jon McKenzie's Ankle Biter has a classic wedge shape and a saw. Jon McKenzie comes from Ukiah, California. Trey Roski built Ginsu, who features several saw blades as wheels and weapons.

 

TIM: It's that time again with Mark Beiro.

MARK: This is a Battlebots elimination contest. Introducing in the red square: This two-wheeled menace will leave your feet sore in the morning. Introducing ANKLE BITER! And in the blue square: Armed with everything needed to make a house and to defeat you is GINSU!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Ankle Biter flipping Ginsu but Ginsu is unscathed. Both bots nose-to-nose but still upright. Oh Ginsu on his side and being delivered to the Pulverizor!

BIL: You got it, Tim. Mechanized Bird tore up Warhead and fed him to the hungry arena hazards. New Cruelty escapes a near-knockout after landing on the Spike Strip and not being able to move. As you just saw, Ankle Biter decimates Ginsu to take a quick win.

TIM: Battlebots brings you more destruction and chaos as Backlash hopes to tear up ShoveMaster2000.

BIL: Mechavore has destruction on his mind and he'll be fighting Question Mark to dish it out.

TIM: Finally, Atomic Wedgie faces off against The Master himself. Hello and welcome everyone, I'm Tim Green and next to me is my companion Bil Dwyer.

 

BIL: That's right, Tim. I think these bouts will feature utter domination from one of the bots. Here's a look at our first fight. Backlash houses his rear wedge and spinning blade of death. Jim Smentowski built him and is from Novato, California. ShoveMaster2000 is a two-wheeled bot with a front scoop. His builder is Ramiro Mallari from San Francisco, California.

 

TIM: Let's hear what Mark Beiro has to say.

MARK: This is a Battlebots elimination contest. Introducing, in the red square: His blade isn't just for looks, it's also for chewing up his opponents. Introducing BACKLASH! And in the blue square: You'll be surprised when he digs victory out from underneath you. It's SHOVEMASTER2000!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Backlash is slammed into the wall by ShoveMaster! Backlash, taking a ride under the Pulverizor! Backlash, trying to use his rear wedge, ineffectively against SM2000. ShoveMaster2000, using that effective scoop to push Backlash all around the box.

 

BIL: Backlash really doesn't have anything to fight back with, Tim. ShoveMaster is just pushing him around like a great robot bully.

TIM: Backlash, having some trouble near the Pulverizor, but narrowly escapes being hit.

BIL: Backlash held up pretty well against ShoveMaster but odds are that he isn't going to win this fight.

TIM: ShoveMaster, being pushed into the wall by Backlash and seems to have his scoop pushed upwards but the match is over though. Is there something we missed? Well we'll find out from Mark Beiro.

 

MARK: Ladies and gentlemen, the 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 19 to 18 decision for.............the blue corner, SHOVEMASTER2000!

 

BIL: I guess that damage was enough to give Backlash some points but it wasn't enough. Here's our next bout. Mechavore has his front disc for his weapon. His builder is Robert Marzinske of Tempe Arizona. Question Mark is the exact battle scared twin of Biohazard. Carlo Bertoccini built him and is from Belmont California.

 

TIM: Mark Beiro has the final thoughts.

MARK: Introducing in the red square: The answer to his problems isn't to sign a treaty, it's to fight until one robot dies. Please welcome QUESTION MARK! And in the blue square: When this robot is finished, he has vanquished the rest of the robot food chain. Its MECHAVORE!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on...

BIL: It's robot fightin' time!

TIM: You got it, my friend. Question Mark with the early slam into the wall on Mechavore. Question Mark, seems to be unable to get his lifting arm to work. Mechavore flipped over by Question Mark but is back over. Mechavore with a direct shot from the Pulverizor and his rear wedge is taken off.

 

BIL: Question Mark's left anti-wedge skirt seems to be pushed upwards and mangled, Tim.

TIM: That could mean trouble for Question Mark but with no wedge to help him, I don't see Mechavore getting underneath, Bil. BIL: Atomic Wedgie has the front wedge and spinning tri-foils. His builder is Rupert Everhart from Columbia, Maryland. Mark Setrakian's The Master has a front horizontal disc and a rear wedge. Mark Setrakian comes from Los Angeles, California.

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Atomic Wedgie delivers a blow on The Master by slamming him into the wall. The Master, not having any sort of control in this fight as he is taken to the Pulverizor and loses his rear wedge. Atomic Wedgie, driving The Master around the box, then takes a shot from the Killsaws himself. Atomic Wedgie gets slammed into the wall by The Master! The Master, taking more shots from the Pulverizors but seems to now be stuck with Atomic Wedgie, Bil.

 

BIL: They're going to have to separate them now, Tim. Nothing too serious. It's a constant occurrence in Battlebots.

TIM: Atomic Wedgie, pushing The Master into the Spikes and with the Pulverizor and The Master looks to be stuck there.

BIL: The blade of the Master is stuck on top of one of the Spikes in the Battlebox, Tim, plus his wheels are off the ground. Too bad the Pulverizor can't help him here. It's over and Atomic Wedgie moves to round 3. Bil, give us the highlights.

 

BIL: Backlash got pushed all around the box by the bout winner ShoveMaster2000. Question Mark gave Mechavore a taste of the arena hazards to take the judges decision victory and Atomic Wedgie gave The Master a lesson in losing.

TIM: Sliceratops is looking to make Minion MKII history.

BIL: Vlad II takes on the invertible Dreadnaught.

TIM: Finally X-orcist hopes to put the nightmare of Tentomushi 9.0 to sleep. Welcome to Battlebots everyone, I'm Tim Green.

BIL: This tournament is getting more and more impressive each night, Tim. Let's take a look at our first fight. Sliceratops has flipping tusks and a rear flywheel. James Davis is its builder. Minion MKII has 2 saw blades in the front and a rear plow. Christian Carlberg built him and is from North Hollywood California.

 

TIM: The intros are here with Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing in the red square: His records are the same as your hopes of victory: history! It's SLICERATOPS! And in the blue square: Like an update from Microsoft Office, face the fury of MINION MKII!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin time! Sliceratops with the opening flip on Minion MKII. Minion MKII looking to back into Sliceratops to avoid being flipped is flipped anyway.

 

BIL: The weapon of Sliceratops is very effective right now. Minion MKII having no help at all.

TIM: Minion MKII is flipped again, then takes a hit from the Pulverizor. Sliceratops with another pop on Minion MKII! Oh, Sliceratops takes a shot from the Killsaws! Minion MKII, really defenseless against that front flipper of Sliceratops. Minion MKII is on his side up against the wall!

 

BIL: When you look at Minion MKII's design, you wouldn't think that this would be possible considering that the middle wheel sticks out but the wall helps him balance and I don't see him getting down from there, Tim.

 

TIM: I think you're right on that one, Bil. Minion MKII counted out in 1 minute, 45 seconds. Bil, how about our next bout?

BIL: You got it, pal. Vlad II has his lethal lifting forks for his weapon. His builder is Gauge Cauchois from Oakland California. Dreadnaught has a horizontal spinning disk and rear wedge. Christian Carlberg built him and is from North Hollywood California.

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time!

BIL: The first big pop of the fight and Dreadnaught goes flyin'!

TIM: Both robots seem pretty evenly matched, Bil. Neither one of them can seem to get under the other.

BIL: Vlad II got a big slam there.

TIM: Dreadnaught seems to now be stuck in the Killsaw slots and Vlad is trying to help out.

BIL: I think this one's over, Tim.

TIM: You might be right about that, Bil. Wait a minute, Dreadnaught freed himself from the Killsaws!

BIL: Are you kiddin' me? Dreadnaught is stuck there again, Tim. This time I think it really is over.

TIM: Dreadnaught, trying to free himself again and miraculously does! Not much left in this match, though. Think Dreadnaught has a chance?

BIL: I'll give him a slight chance but I think that big slam early in the match is key.

TIM: Let's find out with the Judges Decision.

MARK: The 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 27 to 16 decision for...............the red square, VLAD II!

TIM: Vlad II takes the decision and moves to round 3. How about our last bout?

BIL: Tentomushi 9.0 is Lisa Winter's creation and features the capturing dome. Lisa comes from Walnut Creek, California. X-orcist has an axe and scoop as it's weapons. His builder is Marlon Pritchard from England.

BIL: I think we'll be seeing a lot of that in this bout, Tim. Tentomushi's been flipped over! Evil Fish Tank back in Season 2 wanted to do that but didn't quite get there.

 

TIM: Tentomushi, now under the Pulverizor and taking a beating while X-orcist puts himself on the Killsaws! X-orcist, controlling this entire bout and now has Tentomushi stuck in the Spike Strip. Tentomushi is now free from the wall!

 

BIL: That was impressive. Tough fight to call, Tim.

TIM: The judges votes are in so let's find out the winner.

MARK: The 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 22 to 19 decision for.................. the blue corner, X-ORCIST!

TIM: X-orcist slides through to meet his next opponent. Bil, wrap it up for us.

BIL: Sliceratops put an end to Minion MKII's reign by propping it up against the wall. Vlad II took the judges decision in a close bout. In the match you just saw, X-orcist has made Tentomushi 9.0 a ghost.

TIM: Sabotage is looking to out-flip Dantomkia.

BIL: El Diablo battles to survive against the flipper of Giant Cheese.

TIM: Dr Inferno Jr. has a special surgical procedure in store for Stinger. Hello and welcome to Battlebots, I'm Tim Green.

BIL: I'm Bil Dwyer. I can say that tonight's fights will be spectacular, Tim. Here's a look at our first fight. Dantomkia has his lethal front flipper. His builder is Mike Lambert from Surrey. Sabotage was built by Matt Sabotino and features his own flipping arm.

 

TIM: Mark Beiro has more on these two.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: time may grow old but watching you get flipped end-over-end isn't ever old with SABOTAGE! And in the red square: With each flip, you take a dip into disaster. Introducing DANTOMKIA!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Both bots unable to make the first move on their opponent. Dantomkia tossing Sabotage over and under the Pulverizor. Sabotage gets hit.

 

BIL: Dantomkia with a very powerful flipper. I don't think Sabotage has much of a chance here.

TIM: Sabotage is tossed again and into another Pulverizor corner, where he again takes a shot from the Pulverizor. Sabotage, unable to get his flipping arm underneath Dantomkia, is now being pushed back into the first Pulverizor corner and is on his side. Oh Dantomkia takes a hit from the Pulverizor! Dantomkia with another flip but flips himself also!

 

BIL: Dantomkia, such a powerful weapon, even for himself!

TIM: Dantomkia tossing Sabotage again and seems to be over doing it, as you said, Bil. Uh-oh, I think Sabotage is stuck in the Spike Strip, Bil.

 

BIL: The back part of his wedge is on the outside of the arena, Tim. Dantomkia is just kinda playing with him now. Dantomkia moving to round 3!

TIM: Sabotage simply outmatched here. Bil, what's the scoop on our next bout?

BIL: Giant Cheese has a huge flipper and equally large wheels. His builder is Roger Plant from Langport. El Diablo is the twisted creation of Zach Bieber and features a spinning drum of death and rear-mounted spikes.

 

TIM: Let's hear from Mark Beiro.

MARK: This is a Battlebots elimination contest. Introducing in the red square: This is the kind of cheese that gets left out of the fridge for a month. It's also GIANT CHEESE! And in the blue square: Like the saying goes "'Till death do you part", you'll be parting with your own death from EL DIABLO!

BIL: Jason Bardis brings Dr Inferno Jr. to the table. His robot features a saw on one arm, a drill on the other, and wedge skirts on all sides. Stinger has a hardened mace for a weapon and is built by Kevin Scott of England.

 

TIM: It's Mark Beiro time.

MARK: Introducing in the red square: He'll club you, stub you and he's STINGER!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Stinger with a big hit and Dr Inferno Jr. is on his side!

BIL: Oh man, what a hit! Stinger has something to prove here!

TIM: Stinger wins by a quick knockout in 35 seconds. Bil, recap the fights of tonight.

BIL: Dantomkia flipped his opponent all over until Sabotage got caught in the Spike Strip. Giant Cheese had to big of a flipper for El Diablo and left El Diablo on the Spike Strip. Finally, the one-hit wonder Stinger, uses only one hit to put the doctor to sleep.

BIL: Tonight on Comedy Central's Battlebots, Tazbot is hoping to use his lifting arm to leave Techno Destructo upside down and all around the Battlebox.

 

TIM: Then we begin our second round as Deadblow faces off against Vlad the Impaler

BIL: After that it's Diesector who is looking to make Whirlwind his next victim.

TIM: Hello and welcome to Battlebots I'm Tim Green.

BIL: I'm Bil Dwyer. After several weeks of no action here, things are finally going to heat up.

TIM: We've all been waiting to see who moves on in that final slot for round 2 so Bil how does it look?

BIL: Tazbot is not only probably my favorite robot but features his crazy rotating turret and side wedge plates. Donald Hutson built him and is from San Diego California. Techno Destructo has his lethal flipping arm. Sean Irvin built him and is from Melbourne, Florida.

 

TIM: Let's hear from Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing in the red square: Losing to this robot isn't because of a technicality, it's because he beat you senseless. It's TECHNO DESTRUCTO! And in the blue square: This lunatic robot has had such a long list of victims, he's lost count. It's TAZBOT!

 

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

SEAN: I am ready!

RED REF: Techno Destructo is ready!

BLUER REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

DONALD: Ready!

BLUE REF: Tazbot is ready!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Techno Destructo looking around Tazbot for the weak point. Tazbot up under Techno Destructo and pins him in the space between the wall supports and the wall!

BIL: It looks like TD is stuck there, Tim, oh wait, he's down again.

TIM: TD has lost one of the roof arches on his head but is back in the match. Oh, Tazbot puts TD onto his side and TD is in major trouble!

BIL: He's up on the Spike Strip and in an unusual position and Tazbot's not letting him out.

TIM: Techno Destructo is free from the wall but his other arch has been removed and Tazbot is moving him to the Pulverizors!

BIL: Losing those arches is critical for TD, he can't flip himself over again. Tazbot's movin' on to round 2!

TIM: Tazbot dominates Techno Destructo to complete round 1. Bil, how about our next bout?

BIL: Deadblow has a flipping arm and a wedge. His builder is Grant Imahara from Oakland California. Vlad the Impaler has his flipping arms that took out Biohazard. Gauge Cauchois built him and is also from Oakland California.

 

TIM:  It's time for Mark Beiro's intros.

MARK: Introducing in the red square to my right: He's more dangerous than a woodpecker, more agile than an excavator and more powerful than you, it's DEADBLOW! And in the blue square: His force is so powerful, his ancestors woke up from their graves. Introducing. VLAD THE IMAPLER!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Deadblow with an early pop and a miss. Vlad is flipped over but seems to be having trouble righting himself, Bil.

 

BIL: His self-righting mechanism is outside his body not underneath him so he can't do anything.

TIM: Deadblow, pushing Vlad to the Pulverizors.

TIM: Wait a minute, Vlad's ability to right himself has returned and he's back in this fight! Deadblow with the slam into the wall and appears to be missing his front wedge now!

 

BIL: His flipper is stuck in the air too.

TIM: Deadblow gets back his flipper and tosses Vlad onto his head!

BIL: Is he going to take Vlad to the Pulverizor again?

TIM: He appears to be leaving him there. I guess he's learned his lesson.

TIM: Here's Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: Like a tornado blowing away your house, this robot will blow away your victory. It's WHIRLWIND! And in the blue square: This robot got an A in science due to his extreme skills with dead animal inspection. It's DIESECTOR!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Both robots meeting in the center of the floor.

BIL: Both robots are very hard to get underneath, more so on Whirlwind.

TIM: Diesector finds an opening and delivers Whirlwind to the Pulverizor for a brutal pounding! Both robots take a shot from the Killsaws. Oh, Diesector somehow manages to flip Whirlwind!

 

BIL: Whirlwind must now drive backwards, which is pretty bad for him since his weapon is at the front.

TIM: Diesector under Whirlwind again and delivering him all around the Battlebox! This one is over.

BIL: A tough fight to call, Tim.

TIM: The judges votes are in so let's find out the winner.

MARK: The 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 25 to 23 decision for............the blue corner, DIESECTOR!

TIM: An amazing night of robot fighting. Bil, recap tonight's episode.

BIL: Tazbot overthrew Techno Destructo's throne and sent him out of the tournament. Deadblow made sure Vlad couldn't ever rise from the dead and in our last bout, Diesector turned Whirlwind into a calm breeze.

Episode 10

TIM: In this half-hour episode, 6 more robots have destruction on their minds.

BIL:  Mechadon returns with a grudge on Ginsu.

TIM: Nightmare wants to shred any dreams Mac Attack has at victory.

BIL:  The Judge hopes to find Bad Attitude guilty of defeat.

TIM: Welcome to Battlebots, everyone, I'm Tim Green and my partner in destruction is Bil Dwyer.

BIL: Only 4 bouts remain for this round, Tim. Each bot is going to have to do whatever they can to win.

TIM: There's a lot of pressure for each competitor as they hope to make it to round 2. Bil, how does our first pair look?

BIL: Mechadon is the stomp bot built by Mark Setrakian and features 6 walking legs. His opponent is Ginsu, who features saws as its weapon and means of movement.

TIM: It is time for the intros.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: This guy isn't made from a hardware store, he IS a hardware store, it's GINSU! And in the blue square: It's the crab of terror, the stupendous stomper and the killer robot known as MECHADON!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Mechadon, the stomp bot, Ginsu with the many blades.

BIL: This is a hard fight to win for either opponent, Tim.

TIM: It's only getting harder as Mechadon takes a shot from the Killsaws. Mechadon with the flip on Ginsu but Ginsu's design keeps it moving. Oh both robots flipped!

BIL: Ginsu out second, he rolled over as Mechadon landed upside down so Ginsu has won it.

TIM: Ginsu wins against Mechadon. Bil, take us to our next fight.

BIL: Nightmare features his giant spinning wheel of death and is built by Jim Smentowski from Novato, California. Mac Attack has saw blades as its weapon and is burger shaped. McDonalds made him and is from all over the world.

TIM: Here's Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: Dreams of victory become nightmares of defeat with NIGHTMARE! And in the blue square: This bot has an appetite for chewing up its opponents and leaving them as metal shrapnel. It's MAC ATTACK!

BIL: Bad Attitude is a two-wheeled bot and features the front wedge. Thomas Petruccelli built him and is from San Jose, California. The Judge has a nasty hammer as his weapon of choice. His builder is Jascha Little of Austin, Texas.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: Known to be lurking in the corners waiting for it's victims it's BAD ATTITUDE! And in the blue square: Order in the court! You are about to be knocked senseless by THE JUDGE!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! The Judge nailing Bad Attitude, and again! The Judge is relentless on Bad Attitude right now!

BIL: Because of The Judge's design, I don't think Bad Attitude has a chance of getting underneath him, Tim.

TIM: The Judge, such a low bot but a fierce one as he takes off one of Bad Attitude's side panels! Bad Attitude takes a shot from the Killsaws. The Judge, continuing to pound Bad Attitude with his hammer. Bad Attitude takes a hit from the Pulverizor.

 

BIL: Bad Attitude, defeated by The Judge. I think that's pretty clear here.

TIM: Let's see if the judges agree.

MARK: Ladies and gentlemen: The 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 26 to 22 decision......for the Blue Square, THE JUDGE!

TIM: A closer decision than either of us thought. Bil, recap tonight's battles.

BIL: Ginsu narrowly defeats Mechadon after both bots become incapacitated. Nightmare deals a death blow to Mac Attack and in our last match, The Judge found Bad Attitude guilty of defeat.

TIM: New Cruelty is looking to pound T-Minus into submission.

BIL:  Dr Indestructible is back with a new name and a new grudge on Dooall.

TIM: Twin Paradox wants to show Ankle Biter who is better.

BIL: It's another night of 3 awesome fights, right here on Battlebots.

TIM: Hello everybody and welcome to another night of fights, I'm Tim Green and here to share the victories of some and the demise of others is Bil Dwyer.

 

BIL: You know it, Tim. It's another night of fights we've never seen before and I'm lookin' forward to it. Here's are first pair. New Cruelty has 4 wheels and a front plow. His builder is Richard Stuplich from Wasaw, Wisconsin. T-Minus is his opponent and features a flipping arm. Reason Bradley and Alexander Rose built him from Sausalito, California.

 

TIM: Mark Beiro is here with the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: People in the past have been cruel but this bot is about to enter a NEW CRUELTY! And in the blue square: Rockets blast off but nowhere near as high as the height that this robot throws you in. It's T-MINIUS!

 

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

RICHARD: Ready!

RED REF: New Cruelty is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

REASON: We're ready!

BLUE REF: T-Minus is ready!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! T-Minus tossing New Cruelty into the air. New Cruelty is now exposed to T-Minus who tosses him again but it looks like T-Minus has lost the critical part that aids in helping him self-right easily. T-Minus' flipper breaks off and lands on the Battlebox floor!

BIL: T-Minus is now very susceptible to New Cruelty. New Cruelty with a brutal slam there and T-Minus really doesn't have a lot going on now.

 

TIM: This is incredible, this was all T-Minus and now the tables have turned. New Cruelty taking T-Minus to the Pulverizor, which now looks to have snapped off but somehow is still in its corner. T-Minus gets a lucky break there.

 

BIL: What can you do if you're T-Minus now? You really don't have a way down and now that T-Minus is caught between the wheels of New Cruelty, they might need separating but I don't think there's enough time, Tim.

 

TIM: T-Minus taking some last minute beatings from another Pulverizor and it is over.

BIL: Tough fight to call, Tim. It was all T-Minus in the beginning but New Cruelty turned it around.

TIM: Let's see how the judges saw it.

MARK: Ladies and gentlemen: the 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 23 to 19 decision.......for the red square, NEW CRUELTY!

TIM: New Cruelty takes the next spot in round 2. Bil, take us to our next fight.

BIL: Dooall is the creation of Scott LaValley and features a spring-loaded spike as it's weapon. Scott comes from San Rafael, California. Dr. Indestructible is now Dr Invincible. His weapon is a blade and a plow/wedge. Dr. Invincible was built by Robert Marzinske of Tempe Arizona.

TIM: Mark Beiro has the statistics.

MARK: Introducing in the red square to my right: They say that no super hero is invincible but this robot isn't a super hero it's DR INVINCIBLE! And in the blue square: When he salutes, he's actually saying goodbye as you are his next victim. It's DOOALL!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Dooall with the first punch on Dr Invincible. Dooall again punishing Dr Invincible. Oh Dooall stuck in the spike strip but gets away! Dr Indestructible takes a shot from the Killsaws. Dr Indestructible loses his entire blade assembly on the Battlebox floor!

BIL: Dr Indestructible now can get underneath Dooall much more easily. That's a piece of Dooall on the floor there, it keeps his weapon in place.

BIL: This is probably very advantageous for Twin Paradox because now he can get underneath Ankle Biter's wedge.

TIM: Ankle Biter is on his top and in big trouble. Oh, miraculously, Ankle Biter is righted by Twin Paradox! Twin Paradox has apparently lost his plow on the Battlebox floor! Twin Paradox has stopped moving.

BIL:  Mechanized Bird fought way back in Battlebots and now he returns to fight against Dual Punch.

TIM: Finally Robo-Ref puts his design to the test against Warhead. Hello everyone and welcome to Battlebots, I'm Tim Green.

BIL:  The adrenaline is always rushing through me whenever the night of robot fighting arrives. Let's get right to our first fight. Push 'N Shove features a diamond-edged axe and a front scoop. His builder is (don't know this) from (need builder first). Atomic Wedgie is the creation of Rupert Everhart and features a wedge and spinning tri-foils.

 

TIM: The intros are here.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: Its victims are turned into robot waste courtesy of ATOMIC WEDGIE! And in the blue square: When out of snowplows for winter, they don't pick this one because of it's long list of fatalities. It's PUSH 'N SHOVE!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Push 'n Shove with the scoop design already controlling this fight by slamming Atomic Wedgie into the wall.

 

BIL: That's a very effective scoop on Push 'n Shove, Tim. Atomic Wedgie can't seem to get under him. He's gotta go for the sides of Push 'n Shove.

 

TIM: Push 'n Shove, continuing to dominate Atomic Wedgie. Oh, Atomic Wedgie split open but is underneath Push 'n Shove! Push 'n Shove, now the victim of Atomic Wedgie, who appears to be looking for a way to tip him over, Bil.

 

BIL: Atomic Wedgie should be able to, Tim. Right now, though, it looks like he's stuck on the Spike Strip and in a dangerous area, too, right under the Pulverizors.

 

TIM: Push 'n Shove, taking a beating from the Pulverizors and I think he's being counted out. It......is.......over.

BIL: What a win for Atomic Wedgie. It hasn't done that since it's fight with Toro back in Season 2.

TIM: Let's get the official time.

MARK: Ladies and gentlemen: The time, 2 minutes, 30 seconds. The winner, by a knockout, in the red square, ATOMIC WEDGIE!

TIM: Atomic Wedgie moves on. Bil, take us into our next fight.

BIL: Dual Punch was formally known as Dr. P.A.I.N. last season but still has his ramming spikes as his weapon. His builder is Chuck Pitzer from Phoenix, Arizona. His opponent is Mechanized Bird, who features a crushing beak and a wedge scoop. His builder is Vinny Blood from Dorset.

 

TIM: Now here are the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: I'm sure we've all had Hawaiian Punch, we've had Fruit Punch but you don't want any DUAL PUNCH! And in the blue square: This robot waits on its perch looking for its pray like a bald eagle. It's MECHANIZED BIRD!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Mechanized Bird gets Dual Punch with his beak and moves him to the Pulverizors! Dual Punch is free but MB grabs him again and takes him back to the Pulverizors and Dual Punch loses one of his ramming spikes on the Battlebox floor! Dual Punch, clearly at a disadvantage, takes damage from the Killsaws. MB, using that beak to grab DP and bring him again to the Pulverizors, as DP loses the other spike. This is clearly MB's fight.

 

BIL: There isn't much left of DP, Tim. I don't think DP has any chance at all, especially with him on his back end right now.

TIM: MB moves him back to the Pulverizors, which miraculously right MB but he's in a dangerous area and needs to get out but this match is over. It's time to see how the judges scored this bout.

 

MARK: The 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 20 to 10 decision......for the blue square, MECHANIZED BIRD!

TIM: A score that doesn't surprise me, and Mechanized Bird moves on. Bil, how about our last bout?

BIL: Robo-Ref is armed with a wedge and rear wedge skirts. His builder is (don't know this) from (need builder first). Warhead is built by Vinny Blood and features a nasty spinning disc. Vinny comes from Dorset.

 

TIM: It's time for Mark Beiro's intros.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: Make a mistake in the sports complex, he gives you  a warning. Make a mistake in the Battlebox, he gives you a beating. He's ROBO-REF! And in the blue square: This robot beats all others senseless for a living. It's WARHEAD!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Robo-Ref and Warhead meet nose-to-nose. Both bots popped into the air by their impact. Oh, Warhead loses his front blade! Robo-Ref on his side and unable to move.

 

BIL: Kudos to Robo-Ref for hangin' in there. Warhead, showin' for the crowd.

TIM: Let's see the final results.

MARK: Ladies and gentlemen: The time, 1 minute, 30 seconds. The winner, by a knockout, in the blue corner, WARHEAD!

TIM: An unbelievable night of fighting. Bil, give us the recap.

BIL: Atomic Wedgie knockout Push 'n Shove by leaving him there to be abused by the Pulverizor. Mechanized Bird left little of the carcass formally known as Dual Punch and moves on. Warhead leaves Robo-Ref out of his mind and out of the tournament.

Episode 7

TIM: Newcomer Chaos Gaze puts his blade against Mechavore.

BIL: Question Mark battles his own newcomer, Lifeless Scraps.

TIM: The Master returns with a new design and a new opponent, Flammin' Hot Bot. Hello and welcome to Battlebots, I'm Tim Green and here for some carnage is Bil Dwyer.

 

BIL: That's what we're both here, buddy. Tonight we have 3 new robots ready to test their designs and skills. Let's get right to our first fight. Chaos Gaze features a lethal spinning disc as its weapon. It can also self-right with a tiny arm right behind the disc. His builder is Dave Rose from England. Mechavore comes back with a two-wheel drive and a much bigger design. His builder is Robert Marzinske of Tempe Arizona.

 

TIM: Let's see what info Mark Beiro has.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: His rotary disc pulls you towards it like a compass at the North Pole. It's CHAOS GAZE! And in the blue square: Sharper than a kitchen knife, quicker than a speeding train, deadlier than his victims, introducing MECHAVORE!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Nose-to-nose but no damage inflicted to either bot.

BIL: Oh man, Mechavore lost his rear wedge!

TIM: Mechavore, reduced to just a blade for a weapon is taking a beating from the Pulverizors!

BIL: Mechavore's falling apart, Tim, his blade's gone now.

TIM: There isn't much left of Mechavore to speak of and it looks to me like Chaos Gaze is losing not only the back cover but his means of self-righting. The righting mechanism appears to be jamming Chaos Gaze's weapon and some of his mobility. Oh the cover's gone!

 

BIL: Neither robot lookin' too good right now, Tim. Chaos Gaze at least has his weapon but now he can't self-right if flipped over.

TIM: Mechavore with the flip on Chaos Gaze and this one is over!

TIM: Let's find out what Mark Beiro has to say.

MARK: This is a Battlebots elimination contest. Introducing, in the red square: His destruction is overwhelming, his moves are mystifying. Its LIFELESS SCRAPS! And in the blue square: Covered with the scars of defeat is the robot out for scars of victory. Here is QUESTION MARK!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Question Mark, struggling to get his arm up but it seems to be malfunctioning, Bil.

 

BIL: Lifeless Scraps is a hard bot to flip over, Tim. However, succeed and you've won. Lifeless Scraps is trying to get those jaws on QM but it's not working.

 

TIM: Question Mark gets his arm working and loses half of his armor on the Battlebox floor!

BIL: QM's got LS now. Where's gonna take him? Where ya gonna take him, QM?

TIM: To the Pulverizor!

BIL: That was about 10 pops from the Pulverizor. It looks like QM is trying to flip LS over but it's very difficult for any bot to do this. He's tryin, he's tryin, can he do it? YES HE CAN! Oh man, are you kiddin' me? He's done it.

 

TIM: Lifeless Scraps looking rather lifeless himself as he can't right himself and this one is over. Now let's get the official decision.

MARK: Ladies and gentleman, the time, 2 minutes, 0 seconds. The winner, by a knockout, in the  red square, QUESTION MARK!

TIM: So Question Mark takes the KO. Bil, tell us about our last match.

BIL: Mark Setrakian brings his robot back with a horizontal disc instead of a vertical one as well as a rear wedge. Mark Setrakian comes from Los Angeles, California.

 

TIM: Here's Mark Beiro with the intros.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: When it comes to maneuvering, he's faster, when it comes to destruction, he's THE MASTER! And in the blue square: He's so hot he gives ice a fever. It's FLAMMIN' HOT BOT!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Both bots cautiously approaching and trying to find the other's weakness. Flammin' Hot Bot sends The Master flying against the wall! The Master is now free and ready to strike. Both bots, so far, managing to stay upright. Oh and both bots flipped!

 

BIL: The Master doesn't have any problems, he can just re-right himself but because Flammin Hot Bot landed on his side, his mobility is limited and I think The Master is taking advantage of that.

 

TIM: He is and FHB is taking a beating. FHB is now free and oh no, TM loses his rear wedge to the Killsaws!

BIL: That pretty much cancels out the usefulness of his saw, Tim. Oh man, FHB destroyed! That was nice!

TIM: FHB, down to just two wheels and his rear weapon is very vulnerable right now. The only thing Flammin' Hot Bot must avoid is getting flipped but he gets flipped and The Master has won it. The Master takes the win in a minute, fifteen. Bil, recap tonight.

 

BIL: Chaos Gaze is sent packing after being flipped, despite doing major damage to Mechavore. Question Mark flips the fearsome Lifeless Scraps out of the tournament. In our last match, The Master decimates Flammin' Hot Bot all over the Battlebox floor.

TIM: Comedy Central's Battlebots presents more destruction in the Battlebox. The deadly Ziggo takes on X-orcist.

BIL: Backlash puts his spinning wheel of death against Ronin's saw.

TIM: ShoveMaster2000 hopes to move Vlad the Inhaler all around the Battlebox. Good evening and welcome to Battlebots everyone, I'm Tim Green and joining me in all the carnage is Bil Dwyer.

BIL: It's good to be here, Tim. It should be interesting to see how Ziggo does in this tournament, considering last season had him nearly destroyed by Tentomushi 9.0. I'm too amped up to focus on anything else so here's our first pair.  X-orcist features the scoop and axe. His builder is Marlon Pritchard from England.  Ziggo is Jonathan Ridder's creation and features a spinning doom with teeth on it. Ridder comes from San Jose, California.

TIM: Let's here the intros from Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: He's found sometimes expelling ghosts out of family homes but most cases, he's expelling victory from his opponents. It's X-ORCIST! And in the blue square: A spinner with deadlier teeth than the cat he was named after. Introducing ZIGGO!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Both bots with a big hit and Ziggo's shell is sliced open while X-orcist strikes Ziggo's dome with his axe. Ziggo narrowly avoids the Killsaws. Oh and Ziggo's shell gets destroyed on the Battlebox floor and Ziggo himself appears to be knocked out, Bil.

BIL: That was an awesome fight, Tim.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: He won the Lightweight Division back in Season 1, now he wants another. It's BACKLASH! And in the blue square: You saw the movie, now witness the power of the robot. Here is RONIN!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

JIM: I'm ready!

RED REF: Backlash is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

PETER: Ready!

BLUE REF: Ronin is ready!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it' robot fightin' time! Ronin with the treads and saw at the front, Backlash with the 2 rear wheels and his own deadly blade. Both robots appear to be locked together, Bil.

BIL: Backlash has one wheel on the ground, so it might be able to escape.

TIM: Both robots free and Backlash is on his side! Backlash is in trouble and is taking a beating from the Pulverizors but is now back over. Here we go again and both bots become locked together like two male deer in battle. Backlash, free from Ronin and flipping Ronin over!

BIL: Ronin's got self-righting flags so he should be able to right himself.

TIM: Backlash doesn't seem to be allowing Ronin to right himself, Bil but he's taking him to the Pulverizor! Ronin, trying to right himself but is being brutally hit by the Pulverizor.

MARK: Ladies and gentleman, the time 2 minutes, 13 seconds. The winner, by a knockout, in the red square, BACKLASH!

TIM: Who will face Backlash? Bil's got the answer.

BIL: Well I don't have the exact answer but we will once this match ends. Vlad the Inhaler is the exact battle-scarred duplicate of former champ Vlad the Impaler. Gauge Cauchois built him and is from Oakland, California. ShoveMaster2000 is Ramiro Mallari's creation and features his other bot's scoop wedge and can run upside down. Ramiro is from San Francisco, California.

 

TIM: Now it's time for Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: From the creator of Punjar comes his nastier twin. It's SHOVEMASTER2000! And in the blue square: Rising from the dead is the scarred robot back for revenge and he's lurking in the blue corner. He's VLAD THE INHALER!

 

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Nose-to-nose attacks from both Vlad the Inhaler and ShoveMaster2000. Both robots flipped over but Vlad self-rights.

 

BIL: This could be advantageous for Vlad if he can get underneath ShoveMaster, Tim.

TIM: ShoveMaster back over and slams Vlad into the wall. Oh and both robots flipped again! Vlad the Inhaler back over, and now slamming ShoveMaster, bringing him back right-side up as well. Vlad the Inhaler's on his back end!

 

BIL: That's the easiest way to take Vlad out. The other sides can still knock him out but they're harder because of his design.

TIM: ShoveMaster, with the slam and Vlad's back over but ShoveMaster puts him on his back end again and this one's over. Let's see how the judges scored this bout.

 

MARK: The 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 20 to 19 decision........for the red square, SHOVEMASTER2000!

TIM: An amazingly narrow win for ShoveMaster2000. Bil, take us through the bouts again.

BIL: Ziggo got destroyed in its bout with X-orcist, who will move on to fight FrenZy. Backlash dominated Ronin and let the arena hazards finish him off. Finally, ShoveMaster2000 proved to be just too much for Vlad the Inhaler, who only inhaled defeat.

BIL: You know it, Tim, I'm always ready for robot carnage. Tonight, another 3 robots dominate their opponents to move on. Let's start off tonight with our first fight. Vlad II is Gage Cauchois' creation and features lifting forks as its weapon. Overkill has his front wedge and overhead knife-blade. Christian Carlberg built him and is from North Hollywood, California.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: Here is the ancestor to Vlad the Impaler. It's VLAD II! And in the blue square: He bashes his opponents into smithereens. Introducing OVERKILL!

TIM: Two newcomers face off for the right to move on as Sgt Thrash and Sliceratops fight to the death. Hello everyone, I'm Tim Green and beside me is the amped up Bil Dwyer.

BIL: I am indeed, Tim. Son of Whyachi returns after a hiatus from losing to Swirlee two seasons ago due to self-destruction. I'm lookin' to see what it can do so let's get to our first fight. Dr Inferno Jr. features two arms with a saw on one and a reciprocating spike on the other, as well as four wedge skirts on each side.  His builder is Jason Bardis from Santa Barbra, California. Son of Whyachi features it's overhead spinning blade and was built by Terry Ewert of Dorchester, Wisconsin.

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Both bots with a big hit and Atomic 2 already damaged. Atomic 2 up underneath Minion MK2 and slams him into the wall. Another slam by Atomic 2. Minion MKII, moving Atomic 2 to the Pulverizors! Atomic 2 in major trouble!

BIL: Atomic 2 lost one of its side panels to the Pulverizors. The ref's trying to count Atomic 2 out.

Episode 3

TIM: El Diablo faces off against newcomer Feline, who intends on defeating the devil himself.

BIL:  Panic Attack wants grated cheese for dinner and he gets that chance in his bout with Giant Cheese.

TIM: Finally, it's newcomer Stinger taking on Team Raptor's Alpha Raptor. Hello everyone and welcome to Battlebots. I'm Tim Green and with me is the funny and action-packed Bil Dwyer.

BIL: The newcomers in these bouts will have their work cut-out for them, Tim. It won't be an easy time for them in the box tonight.

TIM: Yes, especially since their opponents are bots that know the box better, Bil. What is the first pairing for tonight, Bil?

BIL: El Diablo is the wicked creation of Zach Bieber and features the dreaded spinning barrel of death. Feline is a pyramid-shaped bot with a spinning saw blade and always lands on its wheels. Its builders are Alan Gribble, David Gribble and Robert Bettington from England.

TIM: It's time now for the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: This cat's litter box is filled with the parts of her victims. Here is FELINE! And in the blue square: His evil is spread throughout his coldhearted frame. Here is EL DIABLO!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

ALAN: Ready!

RED REF: Feline is ready!

ZACH: I am ready!

BIL: Giant Cheese is a wedge bot with a giant flipper and equally giant tires. His builder is Roger Plant from Langport. Panic Attack 3 comes back with its electronic lifting forks and side wedge skirts. His builder is Kim Davies from England.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: Once you see his long list of defeated robots, you'll know exactly why the call him PANIC ATTACK 3! And in the blue square: It's not American, it's not Blue, it's not Cottage, it's GIANT CHEEESE!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Giant Cheese with the early flip and Panic Attack 3 is up against the wall.

BIL: Neither robot havin' much success right now, Tim.

TIM: Oh and Giant Cheese with the toss on Panic Attack 3! Panic Attack 3 is taking a beating from the Pulverizors and escapes.  Panic Attack underneath Giant Cheese and flips him over but Giant Cheese is back over. Giant Cheese, missing with his flipper.

BIL: Panic Attack flips Giant Cheese again and Giant Cheese is with the Pulverizors! That's it.

TIM: Giant Cheese takes the victory over Panic Attack and wins 20 to 17. Bil, give us the pairings for our last bout tonight.

BIL: With pleasure, Tim. Stinger is a two-wheeled bot with a bludgeoning spike as a weapon. His builder is Kevin Scot from England. His opponent is Alpha Raptor, who features an actuated lifting arm as its weapon. Chuck Pitzer built it and he's from Phoenix, Arizona.

TIM: Here are the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: This two-wheeled menace clubs all of his opponents and will not stop until they're dead. It's STINGER! And in the blue square: He's carnivorous, he's dangerous and most importantly, he's ALPHA RAPTOR!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! A big slam by both robots! Stinger flips Alpha Raptor who's under the Pulverizors!

BIL: We lost the Pulverizor! It just snapped off as it was punishing Alpha Raptor! Stinger, very aggressive with that weapon, Tim.

TIM: Alpha Raptor loses the main part of his lifting arm. That could mean trouble and it does as Stinger flips him over!

BIL: Poor Alpha Raptor. Put up a good fight but it wasn't enough.

TIM: It is time for another 3 rounds of carnage and destruction.

BIL: Grendel humiliatingly defeated Diesector several seasons ago. Diesector wants revenge.

TIM: Newcomer Dantomkia wants to show Toro why he's the better robot.

BIL: Sabotage takes on Minion for the quest to move on.

TIM: Welcome to Battlebots, everyone, I'm Tin Green and next to me is Bil Dwyer.

BIL: Tonight's matches are going to be awesome, Tim. I'm amped up for some destruction so let's get to our first match. Grendel features a spring-loaded spike and was built by Daniel Rupert from San Diego, California. His opponent is Diesector whose weapons are a rear wedge and jaws at the front. Donald Hutson is also from San Diego.

TIM: Let's get the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: Waiting in the red corner for the slightest movement from his soon-to-die opponent is a deranged robot thirsty for annihilation. It's DIESECTOR! And in the blue square: While the Loch Ness Monster tale may be false, you'll know that the tale of you getting pulverized by this monster is true. Here is GRENDEL!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

DONALD: I'm ready!

RED REF: Diesector is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

DANIEL: Ready!

BLUE REF: Grendel is ready!

BIL: Doesn't hurt Diesector though, he can run upside down.

BIL: We haven't seen Grendel flipped anywhere in matches, Tim. Looks to me right now that he can't. Grendel's still upside down so I'd say his weapon can't help him here.

TIM: Grendel, taking major damage from the hazards and Diesector slams Grendel into the wall! Looks to me like Diesector is stuck with Grendel.

BIL: Yeah, but I guess it's workin' very well for Diesector, who gives him to another Pulverizor!

TIM: Grendel not righting himself at all and I think he's out.

BIL: Oh man, this is a match that will be devastating Tim. We've seen what Dantomkia can do from the preliminary bouts and its flipper is amazing! Dantomkia is a wedge with a flipper. His builder is Michael Lambert from Chertsey. His opponent is Toro, whose builder is Reason Bradley from Sausalito, California.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: When it comes to bullfighting, he hurts, when it comes to robot fighting, he destroys. It's TORO! And in the blue square: A newcomer waiting to test its skills. TIM: Oh my gosh, Toro nearly tossed out of the arena!

BIL: That was a very high flip, Tim, probably a few feet into the air.

TIM: Dantomkia needs to get back over and he does. Dantomkia with another toss on Toro!

BIL: Toro's up against the wall, so he's going to have a hard time getting back over, Tim.

TIM: Toro back over but he seems to be stuck on the Spike Strip, Bil.

BIL: He can't even fire his weapon from there, Tim.

BIL: That was an awesome fight, Tim. Now here's are last match of the night. Matt Sabotino brings back Sabotage, who features a flipping arm that also acts as a spatula. Minion features his fireman's saw from several seasons ago and his handy wedge. Christian Carlberg created him and is from North Hollywood California.

TIM: Here are the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: He sports a nasty blade and a strong wedge. When it comes to destruction, he has the edge. Introducing MINION! And in the blue square: He's the fantastic flipper, the relentless rammer and the heartless horror. Here is SABOTAGE!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

CHRISTIAN: Ready!

RED REF: Minion is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

MATT: I'm ready!

BLUE REF: Sabotage is ready!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Sabotage using his flipper but can't toss Minion and flips himself instead!

BIL: This is where Sabotage is very vulnerable to Minion's wedge.

TIM: Minion with a slam into the wall on Sabotage. Minion takes Sabotage to the Pulverizors! Sabotage with the flip on Minion but Minion is back over and takes damage from the Killsaws!

BIL: This is a great fight, back-and-forth!

TIM: Oh, Minion loses his self-righting mechanism and one of his sides is ripped open! Minion must now be very careful that Sabotage doesn't flip him again. Sabotage not able to get his flipper to flip Minion. Oh, he flips him again and this one's over!

TIM: The all new Phase 7.0 of Battlebots has begun.

BIL:  First, Deadblow wants a shot against last season's champ, Shreds-A-Lot.

TIM: Then in a legendary rematch, Biohazard takes on Vlad the Impaler

BIL: Finally, newcomer Whirlwind battles the British robot Killerhurtz.

TIM: Hello everybody and welcome to the all new Phase 7.0, I'm Tim Green.

BIL: I'm Bil Dwyer. This is it, Tim, we have been waiting for this tournament for some time now.

TIM: Not only are there new bots for this tournament but the arena itself has changes of its own.

BIL: That's right, Tim. Last season, bots were getting stuck in between the floor and the wall. The walls have been reinforced to prevent this.

TIM: Now that that's out of the way, let's get to our first match up.

BIL: Deadblow comes from Grant Imahara from Oakland California. His weapons are a flipper and a wedge. Shreds-A-Lot features a wedge with saws inside the wedge. His builder is John McKenzie. from Ukiah California.

TIM: Now, here's Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: When it comes to gifts on Christmas, he always has one gift: the gift of pain! Here is SHREDS-A-LOT! And in the blue square: The only gift this Battlebot delivers on Christmas Day is defeat! Welcome DEADBLOW!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

JON: Ready!

RED REF: Shreds-A-Lot is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

GRANT: I am ready!

BLUE REF: Deadblow is ready!

TIM: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Oh, Deadblow with the early flip on Shreds-A-Lot!

BIL: Doesn't bother Shreds-A-Lot much, except that he's really vulnerable without that wedge.

TIM: Deadblow continues to toss Shreds-A-Lot again and again. So far that flipper is effective.

BIL: Might've spoke too soon as Deadblow's flipper seems to be stuck in the up position.

TIM: Oh and Shreds-A-Lot with a major hit on Deadblow and Deadblow's very close to the Killsaws!

BIL: Deadblow taking Killsaw damage.

TIM: Deadblow continuing to toss Shreds-A-Lot.

BIL: That's it. What a fight by Deadblow.

TIM: I think it's clear that Deadblow won so let's go to Mark Beiro.

BIL: Vlad the Impaler is the creation of Gage Cauchois from Oakland, California. His weapon is the forklift on the front. Carlo Bertoccini's Biohazard features wedge fenders on all sides and the deadly lifting arm.

TIM:  Time for Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: If you get in the way of this robot, you'll find yourself in a deadly game of  bullfighting, courtesy of VLAD THE IMPALER! And in the blue square: Lurking in the blue corner is a robot toxic to all opponents. Here is BIOHAZARD!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

GAUGE: Ready!

RED REF: Vlad the Impaler is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

CARLO: I am ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready

BIL: Vlad was nearly put on his side, Tim.

TIM: I don't think Vlad's weapon will be much against Biohazard, Bil.

BIL: Yeah, I don't think so either, Tim. They seem way to high up to even get under Biohazard.

TIM: Biohazard, continuing to push Vlad around and Vlad again slammed into the wall!

BIL: So far, this is all Biohazard. Vlad has nothing right now.

TIM: Oh, Vlad slammed again and this time flipped over! Vlad better get out of there because here comes the Pulverizor!

BIL: Two hits on Vlad from the Pulverizor!

TIM: Vlad's under Biohazard, Bil! Now Vlad slams Biohazard into the wall and now I think he's out, Bil.

BIL: His wheels are clearly off the floor and he's trying to get himself off but his weapon can't go far enough.

TIM: Biohazard knocked out in 1 minute 38. What is our last match-up like, Bil?

BIL: Whirlwind features a vertical disc. His builder is Andrew Marchant from Huntingdon. His opponent is Killerhurtz who features an axe as his weapon.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square: He's the perfect storm in Battlebots, he's the robot in the red corner named WHIRLWIND! And in the blue square:  Get this robot mad and you will not see what comes next. Here's KILLERHURTZ!

TIM: Whirlwind is on his back but can run that way and Killerhurtz looks to be in trouble.

BIL: He seems to be having righter problems, he can right himself as we've seen in past fights but somethin's wrong.

BIL: Whirlwind movin' to round 2!

TIM: An exciting beginning to this season's tournament! Bil, how about some replays.

BIL: With pleasure. Deadblow took home the close Judges Decision after flipping last season's champ around the box. Vlad the Impaler advances after knocking out his former rival Biohazard. In our last match, Whirlwind blew away any chances Killerhurtz had at winning the bout.

Episode 16

SEAN: We're down to our last few battles of this tournament. Only one will remain alive and become our Battlebots champion. Ankle Biter and Sabotage battle it out to face Shreds-A-Lot for the championship title. This is what every tournament winds down into.

BIL: The suspense is killing me, Sean. I am very excited and have been since this tournament began. Let's get right to our first fight. Ankle Biter is a two-wheeled bot with a saw inside its wedge. Sabotage is also a wedge bot but it has a flipper that can also act as a clamp. Here's how those two got here: Ankle Biter took on Bad Attitude and put him out after Bad Attitude got caught in the spike strip. Then, Ankle Biter took out Diesector after Don's bot ended up on its side. His next opponent was Vlad II and he also put this bot on its side. Sabotage on the other hand pulled off the 29-21 Judges Decision to advance. Then he took on the vicious Nightmare where it won 23 to 17. Then, he fought Twin Paradox, where the flipper bot knocked Twin Paradox out in under 2 minutes.

SEAN: I'm as excited as you are, Bil, let's get the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: While he has the ability to teach others to fly, he has the will to make others die, he's SABOTAGE! And in the blue square: It's the deadliest robot you've ever seen, it's the creature lurking in the shadows on Halloween and it's the robot that will cut open your spleen. Here is ANKLE BITER!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

MATT: I am ready!

RED REF: Red Driver is ready!

BIL: There isn't much touching the ground, Sean. Ankle Biter's on his back end now! Poor Ankle Biter, it seems that luck just isn't with him very often when he fights. Sean.

BIL: George Hazard created Shreds-A-Lot, whose weapons are a wedge and 3 saw blades inside it. Matt Sabotino's Sabotage has the unique flipper that can also grab opponents.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square, to my right: All finalists will have to await the devastation this robot causes. Welcome SABOTAGE! And in the blue square: This behemoth has crashed and smashed his way to this point and nothing stands in his way of the championship title except one other robot. Here's SHREDS-A-LOT!

MATT: I am ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

GEORGE: I am definitely ready!

BIL: Doesn't hurt Shreds-A-Lot much, though as he can run upside down but is very vulnerable to other flips.

SEAN: Sabotage continues to dominate this fight as we see yet another toss against SAL.

BIL: SAL is in trouble if he can't get back over, Sean.

SEAN: Well there isn't much he can do right now as Sabotage continues his punishment against SAL but appears to have stopped moving.

BIL: He's been dominating this fight, Sean. That would be a real shame to lose that way.

SEAN: Well it wouldn't have been the first time, Bil. There goes SAL as he slams the what appears to be incapacitated Sabotage into the wall and now he's stuck there.

Episode 15

SEAN: After tonight, the competitors for round 4 will be decided. First up, Ankle Biter goes all out against Vlad II. Next, Sabotage tries to make pancakes out of Twin Paradox. Finally, Overkill attempts to serve up his own platter of defeat for Shreds-A-Lot. Good evening and welcome to round 4 of Battlebots everyone, I'm Sean Salisbury.

BIL: I'm Bil Dwyer. This it, Sean. Round 5 will be upon us after tonight.

SEAN: Yes and we'll be that much closer to crowning a champion.

BIL: Let's begin with our first fight. Gauge Cauchois' Vlad II features lifting forks and a righting mechanism if he happens to get flipped over. Ankle Biter was created by John McKenzie. His weapons are a wedge and a saw inside the wedge.

SEAN: Let's get the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: If you end up waking up in the middle of the night with slashes at your feet, you'll know it's the work of ANKLE BITER! And in the blue square: He may not have the strength to take out zombies in movies, he may not have a crazy idea to find life on other planets but he does have a grudge against you because he's VLAD II!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

JOHN: I am

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

GAUGE: Ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Ankle Biter and Vlad II slamming into one another but neither one able to take advantage of the other, Bil.

BIL: It seems that Vlad just can't get his forks under Ankle Biter to really do anything because maybe Ankle Biter is heavier.

SEAN: Take a look at the punishment to Ankle Biter by Vlad as he is slammed into the wall and flipped over.

BIL: We've never witnessed whether Ankle Biter can run upside down but it looks like he barely has enough traction on those wheels but is struggling, Sean.

SEAN: Another big slam by Vlad II and Ankle Biter is right-side up now. Oh my goodness, Vlad II is on his side, Bil, this could be an upset by Ankle Biter.

BIL: I don't see Vlad II having any way to self-right from his side, Sean, although we never saw it happen from him, he either landed upright or on his back.

SEAN: What an upset by Ankle Biter. Now let's get the official results from Mark Beiro.

MARK: Ladies and gentleman, the time 1 minute, 17 seconds. The winner, by a knockout and advancing to the Semi-Finals.... the red square, ANKLE BITER!

SEAN: Ankle Biter moves on to the Semi-Finals while Vlad II goes home. Bil, what does our next match up look like?

BIL: Twin Paradox has a spinning blade as its main weapon. Its builders are Michael Neese and Skunk-Tek of Charlotte, North Carolina. Sabotage features a wedge and flipping arm. His builder is Matt Sabotino from Greenwood, Indiana.

SEAN: Thanks, Bil, now let's go to Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: If you try to ask him for help in your wood-related projects, you'll become his project: Operation Destroy! Here is TWIN PARADOX! And his opponent, in the blue square: Don't count on him being your chef for breakfast. He's only here to defeat enemy robots. He's SABOTAGE!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

MICHAEL: Ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

MATT: I am ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Sabotage with the early use of his flipper but can't get it done.

BIL: Now Sabotage gets the flip!

SEAN: Oh, look at both robots, they both got flipped over!

BIL: This isn't really a problem for either robot but Sabotage looks to be having trouble moving, Sean.

SEAN: That  could cost him as we see Twin Paradox going after Sabotage's main weapon, his flipper.

BIL: Twin Paradox under Sabotage! Aw, can't hang on to him, though. There he goes again! Still can't quite hold him.

SEAN: Both robots back over and Twin Paradox has lost his blade and is stuck on one of the spikes in the spike strip!

BIL: He's in real trouble if he can't free himself, Sean and it doesn't look like he will but he's trying.

SEAN: So Sabotage moves to the Semi-Finals to meet Ankle Biter. Let's get the final answer from Mark Beiro.

MARK: Ladies and gentleman, the time: 1 minute, 53 seconds. The winner by a knockout and advancing to the Semi-Finals.......the blue square, SABOTAGE!

SEAN: There you have it, Sabotage advances. What about our last match, Bil?

BIL: Overkill was built by Christian Carleberg from North Hollywood California. Its weapons are a wedge and an overhead blade. His opponent is Shreds-A-Lot, whose builder is George Hazard from East Windsor, New Jersey and whose weapons are 3 blades inside a wedge.

SEAN: A pleasure to have you, Bil. Now it's time for the introductions

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: The only thing on his menu is victory. Welcome SHREDS-A-LOT! And in the blue square: Here is a robot that always knows how to make the cut for plays. Introducing OVERKILL!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

GEORGE: I'm ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

CHRISTIAN: I am ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Both bots are meeting in the center of the arena as we start this bout. There's the first flip by Shreds-A-Lot but Overkill is right back over.

BIL: Overkill scores a blow on top of Shreds-A-Lot. Doesn't seem to have harmed Shreds-A-Lot though.

SEAN: Overkill is again tossed into the air and on his back right now with a quick self-right. Another toss by Shreds-A-Lot and there's Killsaw damage to Overkill.

BIL: It looks like both robots are stuck now, Sean.

SEAN: Shreds-A-Lot seems to still be moving but I think Overkill's tires are locked with the wedge of Shreds-A-Lot, Bil. Take a look at that bar on top of Shreds-A-Lot, Bil. It seems to be damaged.

BIL: Yeah, it's coming out of its holes, Sean. How about that, Overkill flipping Shreds-A-Lot!

SEAN: An impressive flip by Overkill but this match is just about done.

BIL: What a fight, who's moving on?

SEAN: Well Mark Beiro has the answer.

MARK: The 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 31-19 Judges Decision for.....the red square, Shreds-A-Lot!

SEAN: Shreds-A-Lot moving on to the Semi-Finals! Bil, rewind the tape for us.

BIL: With pleasure. In our opening bout, Vlad II got shot-out by Ankle Biter after getting flipped onto his side by the wedged robot. Our previous match was a fierce one until one final hit tore off Twin Paradox's blade and any remaining chances he had for victory. In our last match, Shreds-A-Lot pushed past Overkill's assault into the final slot fro the Semi-Finals.

Episode 14

SEAN: Tonight we find out the last 3 robots to enter round 4. First up Dreadnaught and Twin Paradox sharpen their blades for a one-on-one showdown. Then it's a quest to find out who has the better attack between Overkill and Blade Runner. Finally, Backlash and Shreds-A-Lot fight to the end to fill the last slot. Good evening and welcome to Battlebots everyone, I'm Sean Salisbury and the man I show my appreciation of the sport is Bil Dwyer.

BIL: I am amped up, Sean. 3 more competitors will make their way to round 4. Let's begin with our first fight. Dreadnaught is the creation of Christian Carlberg from North Hollywood California. His weapons are a horizontal spinning blade as well as a rear wedge. Twin Paradox has his own horizontal blade and was built by Michael Neese and Skunk-Tek of Charlotte, North Carolina.

SEAN: Here we go again, it's time for Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing in the red square to my right:  Here is a bot that allows you to show everything you've got, then takes it away from you, here is TWIN PARADOX! And his opponent, in the blue square: His destructive force  tears all opponents into microscopic morsels. Please welcome DREADNAUGHT!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

MICHAEL: Ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

CHRISTIAN: I'm ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! A nose-to-nose impact to start this bout. Take a look at that, Dreadnaught flipped by Twin Paradox!

BIL: A near-miss for Dreadnaught from the Pulverizors, Sean.

SEAN: How about that, Dreadnaught is stuck in the Killsaw hole there, Bil.

BIL: That's not a good place to be in if you're Dreadnaught.

SEAN: A generous help by Twin Paradox, which isn't necessarily the smartest thing to do if you are to win this fight. Dreadnaught looks to be in trouble again now, Bil.

BIL: Those wheels don't look to be moving, Sean. I don't think he can move at all.

SEAN: Looks like there's movement again from Dreadnaught and he's back in this fight.

BIL: Dreadnaught's stuck in the Killsaw hole again, Sean!

SEAN: Not only that, Bil but one of his wheels seems to be stuck in the spike strip.

BIL: Blade Runner is what we call a thwack bot, or in other words they spin to hit their opponents. His builder is Ilya Polyakov from Dix Hills, New York. opponent is Overkill who has a swinging overhead blade. His builder is Christian Carleburg from North Hollywood, California.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: The only time you'll see this robot going after trees is for target practice, he spends all his real attacking on you. Welcome OVERKILL! And his opponent, in the blue square: You can dream about defeating this robot all you want, but the harsh reality is, the robot will always win! Here is BLADE RUNNER!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

CHRISTIAN: I am ready!

ILYA: I am definitely ready!

BIL: Blade Runner with a big slam into the wall for Overkill, Sean and I think that's it for his back wedge.

SEAN: Well he still has that blade of his. Overkill not landing many blows, this shows how hard it is to use a bot like Overkill versus a bot like Deadblow or Killerhurtz. Blade Runner with another slam for Overkill.

BIL: There goes the blade, Sean and that also had his self-righting mechanism so if he's flipped, it's over.

SEAN: There's your flip and I think this one's over.

BIL: Come on, I wanna see some destruction for the poor robot.

BIL: Aw, he couldn't do it but he's movin' on to round 4.

SEAN: Not too bad for Christian Carleburg tonight, Bil. One of his bots is out but he still has another one moving on. How does our last pair look?

BIL: Backlash is the deadly creation of Jim Smentowski. His weapon is that famous spinning wheel of death and rear wedge. Shreds-A-Lot features a wedge with 3 saw blades in the middle. His builder is George Hazard from East Windsor, New Jersey.

SEAN: Time for Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: If you wake up with your backside bleeding, it's because you have felt the wrath of BACKLASH! And in the blue square:  Flinching even for a second will anger this robot and cause him to rip your eyes out. Here is SHREDS-A-LOT!

GEORGE: Definitely ready!

BIL: Shreds-A-Lot is just relentless on Backlash, Sean. Backlash with a near-miss on the Killsaws. Another brutal slam by Shreds-A-Lot. Backlash not having his way at all in this fight.

SEAN: Looks like this hit wedged both robots into the Spike Strip. Shreds-A-Lot struggling to get free and he does. Oh, what a hit by Shreds-A-Lot! I think Backlash is stuck there, Bil.

BIL: Yeah, I see Backlash's wheels movin' but he doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

BIL: In our opening bout, Twin Paradox knocked out Dreadnaught after he slammed him into the Spike Strip. In our previous match, Overkill took out everything Blade Runner had, including victory and in our last match, Shreds-A-Lot proved to Backlash that he has the better weapons by shoving him all over the box for the eventual knockout and win.

Episode 13

SEAN: The carnage continues as we move into round 3. Ankle Biter throws down with Diesector. Then Vlad II and Panic Attack get it on to prove who is better. Finally, Sabotage tries to show Minion II how robots fly. Good evening and welcome to round 3 of our Battlebots Tournament.

BIL: This is going to be an awesome set of fights, Sean.

SEAN: Yes and they're only going to get better as we move closer to crowning a champion. How does our first pair match up?

BIL: John McKenzie's Ankle Biter is a wedge bot with a saw inside its wedge. Diesector is the sinister design of Donald Hutson from San Diego, California.

SEAN: Thank you, Bil, now let's go to Mark Beiro for the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: When you find him tearing apart your feet, you'll know you're fighting ANKLE BITER! And in the blue square: He is not here to cut open dead animals, nor is he here to go easy on opponents. In fact, he's here to destroy all opponents because he's DIESECTOR!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

JOHN: I am ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

DONALD: Ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Oh look at that, Ankle Biter strikes early with a flip on Diesector!

BIL: Doesn't hurt Diesector, though, he's designed to handle running upside down.

SEAN: Diesector has Ankle Biter on top of him, Bil.

BIL: Couldn't hold him though as Ankle Biter is back on the floor. Diesector with a slam into the spike strip for Ankle Biter.

SEAN: Oh my goodness, look at Diesector, he's on his side!

BIL: Are you kidding me? Oh man, that is the worst position Diesector can get in since he doesn't have his hammers. It looks as if Diesector is just shy of the Killsaws, which could put him back over but Ankle Biter would get points but I don't see that happening.

BLUE REF: 10......9........8.........7........6........5.........4........3..........2

BIL: Vlad II is the creation of Gauge Cauchois from Oakland California. His weapon is a pair of lifting forks. Panic Attack also has lifting forks and was built by Kim Davis from England.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: Lurking in the red corner is the fiend responsible for the loss of many lives of opponents. Her is VLAD II! And in the blue square: Count your lucky stars if you live to face the wrath of PANIC ATTACK!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

GAUGE: I'm ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

KIM: I am ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Nose-to-nose to start the bout. This should be a good match, Bil.

BIL: Vlad II doing what he does best, get under opponents and slam them into the spike strip. Panic Attack not able to get those forks under Vlad, Sean.

SEAN: That's not like Panic Attack, usually he gets under bots and flips them again and again. Vlad II takes Panic Attack to the Pulverizors. Complete domination thus far for Vlad II.

BIL: Two hits from the Pulverizor.

SEAN: Panic Attack now flips Vlad II over but Vlad self-rights with no problem. How about that, Vlad flipped by Panic Attack! We're down to the last 30 seconds now as more hits are being made but this one is going to be close.

BIL: It was all Vlad II at the beginning but then it turned to both robots as the match ends, which is right now.

SEAN: So who won this bout? Let's find out from Mark Beiro.

SEAN: Vlad wins by a narrow decision and moves on. Bil, what does our last bout of the night hold?

BIL: Well it holds 2 bots, Sean. Minion II  has dual saw blades and was built by Christian Carleburg of North Hollywood California. His opponent, Sabotage was created by Matt Sabotino from Greenwood, Indiana.

SEAN: Now for the introductions with Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: He viciously attacks all who try to oppose him and intimidate him because he's MINION II! And in the blue square: One way to find this robot is to look for the trail of disabled robots courtesy of SABOTAGE!

BIL: Sabotage is relentless, that's another flip to Minion.

SEAN: Minion II is on his back now but seems to be having righting problems as normally he can right himself but isn't doing so.

BIL: Ankle Biter pulls the stunning upset over Diesector by putting the bot on his side. In a tight match, Vlad II takes home win after a brutal battle with Panic Attack. In our last match, Sabotage shows why the third time is the charm as he flips Minion II 3 times to take the win.

Episode 12

SEAN: The final match ups for round 2 air tonight. T-Minus dukes it out with Blade Runner. ShoveMaster2000 battles Shreds-A-Lot and finally, Backlash rips it up with New Cruelty. Hello and welcome to the final battles for round 3, I'm Sean Salisbury and my partner next to me is Bil Dwyer.

BIL: This is it, after tonight, the last three slots will be filled with bots for round 3.

SEAN: That's right, winners move on, losers go home. How does our first pair match up, Bil?

BIL: T-Minus is the creation of Reason Bradley and Alexander Rose from Sausalito, California. His main weapon is a flipping arm, which can toss other robots, as well as himself into the air. Blade Runner has a new design this season. He now has a back wedge and a front spinning Blade. His creator is Ilya Polyakov from Dix Hills, New York.

SEAN: Let's go to Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: No one has been able to face him and live to tell the tale of the deadly Battlebot known as BLADE RUNNER! And his opponent, in the blue square: No bot is untouchable, undefeatable, or unbreakable, unless in the eyes of T-MINUS!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

ILYA: Ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

REASON: I'm ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! T-Minus trying to toss Blade Runner but fails and look how his flipper is on top of Blade Runner, Bil.

BIL: That's not good if you're T-Minus, Sean. T-Minus' only weapon is that flipper and it seems to be working against him.

SEAN: T-Minus on his side now and look at the attacks being made by Blade Runner! There goes the main part of the flipper that allows it to work as Blade Runner moves T-Minus to the Pulverizors. If you're T-Minus, you need to get out of there quickly and look at that, he does but it looks like something's wrong with his flipper.

BIL: It's on the outside of his body, Sean. Look at T-Minus, trying to use the disabled flipper as a shield but as you said earlier Sean it seems to be going against his own design as he is back on his side.

SEAN: T-Minus is in major trouble as he is again under the Pulverizors and seems to be stuck in the corner. Another piece of T-Minus' flipper gone and this time it's the part that actually allows the flipper to get underneath other bots and flip them into the air. The referee's counting T-Minus out, I don't see him getting out of there, Bil.

BLUE REF: 10........9.........8.......7........6........5......4.......3.......2

SEAN: Blade Runner advancing to round 4. Let's get the official decision from Mark Beiro.

MARK: Ladies and gentlemen, the time, 2 minutes, 3 seconds. The winner, by a knockout, in the red square, BLADE RUNNER!

SEAN: There you go, a decisive knockout win for Blade Runner. How does our second match up fair, Bil?

BIL: ShoveMaster2000 is the creation of George Hazard from East Windsor New Jersey, however, he's driving ShoveMaster2000 and had John McKenzie, Ankle Biter's driver, to fill in. It's weapon is a scoop wedge. Shreds-A-Lot is also a creation from George Hazard. Its weapons are a wedge and saws inside the wedge. 

SEAN: As always, I thank you Bil now let's go to Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: This fiend awaits any foolish robot walking into his corridors. He's SHREDS-A-LOT! And his opponent, in the blue square: If you think you've seen good shoving in bulldozers, you haven't met SHOVEMASTER2000!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

GEORGE: Ready

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

JOHN: I'm ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Nose-to-nose for both bots. Take a look at that, ShoveMaster on his side already! Is there any traction on ShoveMaster's tires, Bil?

BIL: It looks like there's just barely enough tire to help him back over and back over he is. Look at that wedge of ShoveMaster, it's bent inward, Sean.

SEAN: Oh my goodness, it's gone, the wedge is nearly gone! What's that going to do to ShoveMaster's driving?

BIL: It looks like it's unbalanced right where that remaining foot for the wedge is attached, Sean.

SEAN: Shreds-A-Lot dealing more punishment as we see him slamming ShoveMaster into the wall and to the Pulverizors.  ShoveMaster's in trouble as he is once again on his side.

BIL: ShoveMaster back over but with so much damage done to him, he needs a knockout or a winning Judges Decision. That's it, what a fight!

SEAN: So who's won this? Time for the official decision.

MARK: Ladies and gentlemen, the 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 26-17 decision for....the blue square, SHREDS-A-LOT!

SEAN: A win for Shreds-A-Lot but ShoveMaster goes home. Who's in our last match up of the night?

BIL: Jim Smentowski's  Backlash has the spinning wheel of death for a blade and a rear wedge. Jim is from Novato, California New Cruelty is created by Richard Stuplich from Wasaw, Wisconsin. Its weapon is what looks to be a wedge.

SEAN: It's time for the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: He has 4 wheel drive, a solid frame and a nasty grudge, here is NEW CRUELTY! And his opponent, in the blue square: All opponents he has beaten have been left to die in despair. Welcome BACKLASH!

RICHARD: I am ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

JIM: Ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Early punishment for Backlash by New Cruelty.

BIL: Backlash doesn't really stand much of a chance in this bout, Sean.

SEAN: No, he doesn't as he is constantly taking damage from both the Killsaws and the Pulverizors. Backlash on the Killsaws but they didn't rise.

BIL: It looks like our Killsaw camera caught the Killsaws falling through the hole so they're gone, Sean. This is just complete dominance by New Cruelty.

SEAN: All Backlash can do is hope for the Judges Decision and look at New Cruelty who is stuck in the wall as the seconds wind down. So who won? Let's go to Mark Beiro.

MARK: Ladies and gentlemen, the 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 23-22 decision for...the blue square, BACKLASH!

SEAN: So that's it, Round 3 is now ready to begin next week. Bil take us through the highlights.

BIL: Blade Runner takes the win after T-Minus' own flipper breaks down. Shreads-A-Lot showed ShoveMaster2000 that he has the better design and in our last match, Backlash proved you can win without much effort.

Episode 11

SEAN: The Battlebots tournament rages on as Dreadnaught teaches Toro that Battlebots is a different sport than bull-fighting. Then the destructive Hazard hopes to make sense out of Twin Paradox. Finally, Overkill goes malicious on Deadblow. Good evening and welcome to Battlebots everyone, I'm Sean Salisbury and here is my partner, Bil Dwyer.

BIL: Another round of robotic destruction to delight our readers, as well as ourselves, Sean.

SEAN: That's what Battlebots is all about, Bil. Letting our readers ooh and ah over the best fights. Speaking of fights, how does our first pair look?

BIL: Toro was created by Reason Bradley and Alexander Rose of Sausalito, California. His main weapon is a CO2 flipping arm. His opponent is Dreadnaught from Team Coolrobots' Christian Carleberg in North Hollywood, California. His weapons are a horizontal disk and rear wedge.

SEAN: Thank you Bil, now let's go to Mark Beiro for the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: All who despise him are torn to pieces. Here is DREADNAUGHT! And his opponent, in the blue square: It is the phrase used in bull fights, it is Spanish for bull and it is also the Battlebot poised to leave you with many broken bones, he's TORO!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

CHRISTIAN: Ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

REASON: I am ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Toro with a pop and a miss on Dreadnaught. Toro with the first flip of the match and it seemed to have done something to his flipper.

BIL: It looks to be stuck in the air, Sean. Toro with damage from the Killsaws, which seem to have helped Toro's flipper fall back into place.

SEAN: Toro with another flip on Dreadnaught. Looks to me like Toro's weapon is once again incapacitated, Bil.

BIL:  That's not good when it's his only weapon. Toro got another flip on Dreadnaught.

SEAN: A punishing blow by Dreadnaught and I think it was so punishing that both bots lost their weapons completely.

BIL: Dreadnaught still has the wedge left but I'm not sure what he can do with it, Sean. Oh man, Toro's on his side, just as I say it!

SEAN: That's it for Toro since he can't do anything from his side due to his flipper out, Bil. Dreadnaught's taking Toro to the Pulverizors and the referee is now beginning Toro's countdown.

BLUE REF: 10.......9........8........7.......6........5.......4........3.......2.......

SEAN: Toro is out of the tournament so let's get the official statistics from Mark Beiro.

SEAN: So there you have it, Dreadnaught moves to round 3. How do our next competitors match up, Bil?

BIL:  Twin Paradox has interchangeable weapons but has decided to use the blade for this match and is invertible. His builders are. Michael Neese and Skunk-Tek of Charlotte, North Carolina. Hazard is the creation of Tony Buchignani and Dan Danick. He features a wedge and a steel spinning blade as weapons.

SEAN: It's that time once again, here's Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: He's a danger to all mankind, he leave a trail of destruction behind, and to all other robots he is most certainly unkind. Welcome HAZARD! And his opponent, in the blue square: Say something to him and he'll confuse the living daylights out of you. Here is TWIN PARADOX!

RED REF: Red drivers, are you ready?

TONY: We're ready!

RED REF: Red drivers are ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

MICHAEL: Ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Nose-to-nose from both bots. Hazard with the flip on Twin Paradox. Hazard with another flip on Twin Paradox.

BIL: Not much for Twin Paradox to do against Hazard, is there?

SEAN: It wouldn't seem like it unless he can rip Hazard's wedge off as we see another flip by Hazard. Hazard is clearly dominating this fight, Bil. Another couple of flips by Hazard. Oh goodness me, Twin Paradox lost his disc!

BIL: It went flying off in one piece, Sean! What a hit by Hazard!

SEAN: Hazard now underneath Twin Paradox and drives him to the Pulverizors. Oh my goodness, Hazard's lost his own blade! Take a look at that, Bil, Twin Paradox flipped Hazard over!

BIL: It was looking so promising for Hazard, wasn't it Sean?

SEAN: Yes it was, especially with all the flips Hazard did and the trip to the Pulverizor.

BIL:  Twin Paradox, a come from behind victory!

SEAN: Now let's get the official decision with Mark Beiro.

MARK: Ladies and gentleman, the time: 2 minutes, 6 seconds. The winner, by a knock out, in the blue square, TWIN PARADOX!

SEAN: What an upset by Twin Paradox. Now who are our last competitors tonight, Sean?

BIL: Deadblow was created by Grant Imahara from Oakland California. He features a wedge and a flipper. Overkill has a wedge and a swinging knife-blade. He was built by Christian Carleberg of North Hollywood, California.

SEAN: As always, thank you, Bil now here's Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing in the red square to my right: He may be helpful in the kitchen for cutting celery and onions but he is also capable of leaving all opponents in many thin slices. Here is OVERKILL! And his opponent, in the blue square: Like a hawk to a dead carcass, this Battlebot looks for enemy robots to destroy. Introducing DEADBLOW!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

CHRISTIAN: I'm ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

GRANT: Ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Deadblow with the early flip on Overkill as we see Overkill get right back over.

BIL: Overkill doesn't really have anything he can use to get under Deadblow, does he, Sean?

SEAN: He has that wedge but it doesn't seem to be very effective as Deadblow flips him again. Look at Overkill, who finally is underneath Deadblow and slams him into the wall! Deadblow continues to be on the offensive as he slams Overkill into a set of spikes in the wall.

BIL: Both bots just took Killsaw damage, Sean.

SEAN: Kind of a shame for Deadblow as he was trying to avoid the Killsaws and simultaneously disable Overkill but neither one of those worked out well. A big slam into the wall by Overkill and it looks to me like Deadblow is stuck there.

BIL: Not sure whether he can get out of there, Sean as Overkill is trying to keep him there.

SEAN: It wasn't enough as Deadblow is free. Deadblow with yet another flip to Overkill. We're just about done with the match here and there's the buzzer. So who's won this bout? Let's go to Mark Beiro.

MARK: Ladies and gentlemen, the 3 judges at arena side have turned in an 18 to 14 decision for the red square, OVERKILL!

SEAN: Overkill takes the close 18 to 14 decision. Bil, take us through the highlights.

BIL: Dreadnaught advances to round 3 when despite weapon failure from both bots, he manages to flip the bull onto his side for the knockout. Twin Paradox moves on after being flipped end-over-end by Hazard. In our last match, Overkill outdoes Deadblow despite the many flips he received.

Episode 10

SEAN: The chaos in our Battlebox rages on. Vlad II shows Mechadon who's boss. Nightmare hopes to show Sabotage that his victory is only a dream. Finally, Ziggo battles Minion II. Welcome to Battlebots everyone, I'm Sean Salisbury.

BIL: I'm Bil Dwyer. Tonight's matches look as awesome as ever, Sean.

SEAN: That's what makes Battlebots so great and why many people watch it, Bil.

BIL: It's also what is going to help keep the sport alive, Sean. Let's get right to our first match. Mechadon is astomp bot from the creator Mark Setrakian. Vlad II is built by Gauge Cauchois from Oakland California.

SEAN: As always, thank you Bil, now let's go to Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: He creeps, he crawls, he is scariest of all, he's MECHADON! And his opponent, in the blue square: Lurking in the blue corner is a deadly robot waiting to strike on enemy robots. Here is VLAD II!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

MARK: Ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

GAUGE: I'm ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Nose-to-nose attack from both Vlad II and Mechadon.

BIL: There isn't much to get underneath and lift with for Vlad II, Sean.

SEAN: Those walking legs of Mechadon don't allow for Vlad to really get in and push him around, Bil. There we see Vlad with a slam into the wall for Mechadon. Vlad trying his attack again and oh, take a look at that, he's on top of Mechadon's walking legs there and is being pushed forward, landing on his back but that's no problem for Vlad II as he gets right back over. Mechadon takes damage from the Killsaws.

BIL: Both robots flipped over, Sean!

SEAN: Won't matter for Vlad but I don't think Mechadon has the capabilities of self-righting from where he is, Bil, and it's too bad, especially since he's on the Killsaws, which aren't helping either. Vlad knows he's pretty much won this fight.

BIL: Nightmare is the deadly creation of Jim Smentowski from Novato, California. Sabotage has a flipper that also works a s clamp. His builder isMatt Sabotino from Greenwood, Indiana.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: If you think that victory is in your future when you face this deadly Battlebot, it's on a NIGHTMARE! And his opponent, in the blue square: Everywhere you go, you'll see this maniacal fiend screwing with other's plans. He's SABOTAGE!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

JIM: I am ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

MATT: Ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN:  The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Sabotage with the early flip, tossing Nightmare into the air.

BIL: Nightmare survived the flip, Sean, he's still on his feet!

SEAN: It is amazing that Nightmare lived but can he survive a second as he is tossed higher still into the air?

BIL: Nightmare lived again!

SEAN: Sabotage isn't quite so lucky, Bil, he's upside down, which is fine but his flipper isn't as powerful. Nightmare taking damage from the Killsaws. If you're Sabotage, you want to get back over so you can continue to rack up the points. There he goes, back over once again is Sabotage. Sabotage with another flip but it looks like he's trying to prevent Nightmare from landing on his blade so he can right himself.

BIL:  He looks like he's going to slam Nightmare into the wall and he does.

SEAN: Already a stunning performance by Sabotage as we wind down in this match, just about 30 seconds go now.

BIL: I think it's pretty clear who's won this bout, Sean.

SEAN: Let's find out from Mark Beiro.

MARK: Ladies and gentleman, the 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 23 to 17 decision, for the red square, SABOTAGE!

SEAN: So Sabotage makes it to a spot in round 3. What does our third match up look like, Bil?

BIL: Ziggo is a spinner created by Jonathan Ridder of San Jose, California. His opponent is Minion II, who was built by Christian Carleburg of North Hollywood, California.

SEAN: Time for the introductions with Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: He has eight lives, destroys bee hives and leaves everyone else with no lives, he is ZIGGO! And his opponent, in the blue square: He tears at everyone's heads, he hides under everyone's beds and is the worst thing everyone's ever said, he's MINION II!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

JON: I am ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

CHRISTIAN: I'm ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Minion trying an early attack on Ziggo but Ziggo's dome seems to be interfering with his strategy as he tries the same move again only to once more get on top of Ziggo's dome. Ziggo on the attack for Minion II and Minion II's on his back now but is back over with no problem.

BIL: Minion flipped again!

SEAN: Not the third time as somehow Minion II escapes. Ziggo seems to be taking some damage. Oh my goodness, Ziggo's dome is gone!

BIL: What a hit! That's it for Ziggo, Sean.

SEAN: It is, Bil.

Episode 9

SEAN: It's the start of round 2 for our tournament. First it's a battle of the wedges between Minion and Ankle Biter. Then Diesector sees if he can take down The Devil himself. Finally, El Diablo tries to avoid defeat from Panic Attack. Welcome to round 2 of Battlebots, everyone. I'm Sean Salisbury and enjoying the carnage with me is Bil Dwyer.

BIL: Thank you, Sean. Our first pair puts two wedge bots head-to-head. Minion is a wedge with a rear fireman's saw. His builder is Christian Carleburg from North Hollywood, California. Ankle Biter also has a wedge but included in that wedge is his saw blade. He was built by John McKenzie of Ukiah, California.

SEAN: Now it's time for the introductions with Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: Those who have seen this maniacal Battlebot run away in fear of losing a foot. Here is ANKLE BITER! And his opponent, in the blue square: He won't come to your rescue if he finds you dead on the floor. In fact, he'll leave you in tiny shambles. Introducing MINION!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

JOHN: Ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

CHRISTIAN: I am ready!

SEAN:  The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Nose-to-nose by Ankle Biter and Minion. Minion up under Ankle Biter but Ankle Biter escapes.

BIL: Ankle Biter seems to be having trouble getting under Minion, Sean. Minion takes Ankle Biter to the Pulverizors and Ankle Biter taking a beating!

SEAN: Oh, Minion flipped by Ankle Biter!

BIL: I certainly didn't see that coming, Sean.

SEAN: It was certainly possible but I had my doubts. Minion's back on his wheels again.

BIL: Look at Ankle Biter! Minion nearly has him on his back end!

SEAN: Minion unable to put Ankle Biter on his back and Ankle Biter with a big hit as we see Minion's self-righting mechanism go flying off.

BIL: Take a look at Minion's side, Sean. That hit definitely ripped open Minion's side.

SEAN: Minion on the aggressive again and he's trying to take Ankle Biter to the Pulverizors but can't seem to do it as the match ends.

BIL:  A close match, Sean.

SEAN: Let's go to Mark Beiro for the decision.

SEAN:  Ankle Biter knocks Minion out of the tournament. How do our next competitors match up, Bil?

MARK: Introducing, in the red square, to my right: All of his opponents are ripped open and left to die. He just does things and never says why, he's DIESECTOR! And his opponent, in the blue square: Feared by all, he has no mercy for anyone, he's THE DEVIL!

DON: I'm ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

ZACH: I am ready!

BIL: I don't know what good that wedge of The Devil will do to Diesector but it doesn't seem to be working as Diesector hits The Devil hard again.

SEAN: A third punishing blow by Diesector!

BIL: I think it was so punishing that The Devil is out.

SEAN: He is out as we can now see the innards of The Devil.

SEAN: What a brilliant display from Donald Hutson. How does our last match for tonight shape up?

BIL: Kim Davies' Panic Attack has two electronically driven lifting forks and wedge skirts on 3 sides. El Diablo is the creation of Zach Bieber from Monrovia, California.

SEAN: As always, thanks Bil. It's time for the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: Never stay out after midnight or you'll find this behemoth roaming about and he will destroy you! Welcome PANIC ATTACK! And his opponent, in the blue square: This fiend lurks in the shadows of every corner waiting for its next victim to show. Here is EL DIABLO!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

KIM: I'm ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

ZACH: I am ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Look at Panic Attack with the early almost flip there! El Diablo trying to get underneath but just doesn't seem to have anything to help out.

BIL: It's those forks of Panic Attack, Sean. They're quite powerful and they're already showing El Diablo what they can do as he is nearly flipped again but Panic Attack hits him into the wall.

SEAN: There goes Panic Attack with the first official flip of this match.

BIL: El Diablo back in this now but what does he have against Panic Attack?

SEAN: I don't know but he needs to find a weakness in Panic Attack but it may be too late as we see Panic Attack flipping him and wedging El Diablo's spinning barrel of death between the wall and the floor of the Battlebox. This looks to be it for El Diablo as he can't right himself in that position.

Episode 8

SEAN: It's the last battles to fill the remaining slots for round 2. Dr. P.A.I.N. trades shots with Shreds-A-Lot. Then FrenZy dukes it out with the menacing Backlash and finally, Dr. Inferno Jr. does his own surgical procedure on New Cruelty. Hello everyone and welcome to our final battles for round 1 of Battlebots. I'm Sean Salisbury.

BIL: I'm Bil Dwyer.

SEAN: Strap yourselves in, everybody because here come our last bots to enter round 2. Let's begin with our first 2 opponents.

BIL: Shreds-A-Lot is a wedge with 3 spinning saw blades. His builder is George Hazard from East Windsor, New Jersey. His opponent is Dr. P.A.I.N., also built by George Hazard but is driven by Carlo Bertoccini for this fight.

SEAN: Time for Mark Beiro's introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square, to my right: Opponents he has faced have begged for mercy but he rips them limb from limb because he's SHREDS-A-LOT! And his opponent, in the blue square: Much more than just your average boxing glove, he leaves all who despise him in a mangled heap on the floor. Introducing DR.P.A.I.N.!

SEAN: Sure looks like it, Bil. Nice punishing blow into the wall by SAL! Oh look at that, PAIN is stuck on one of the spikes for the Spike Strip!

BIL: That's it for him, Sean. His wheels aren't even touching the ground.

BLUE REF: 10....9......8......7.......6......5......4......3......2......1....stop the match!

SEAN: The ref's counting him out so it would appear that SAL has won this bout. Let's go to Mark Beiro for the official decision.

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Backlash with the early attack on FrenZy as we see FrenZy on his back.

BIL: FrenZy back on his feet, Sean.

SEAN: Look at Backlash, who flips FrenZy again! FrenZy with the self-right but Backlash isn't allowing FrenZy to right and slams him into the wall. FrenZy free now and what a hit by Backlash!

BIL: FrenZy went flying, Sean! Now he's stuck on top of our arena wall! Look at Backlash taking shots at him!

SEAN: Seems like Backlash has freed FrenZy from the wall, which probably isn't the smartest thing to do. FrenZy taking damage from the Killsaws and another big blow from Backlash as the buzzer sounds.

BIL: Now that was a fight, Sean.

SEAN: It certainly was and let's go to Mark Beiro for the Judges Decision.

MARK: Ladies and gentlemen, the 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 27 to 24 decision for the blue square, BACKLASH!

SEAN: So Backlash moving on to round 2. Now let's move on to our final bout. Bil, what do you know about them?

BIL: Dr. Inferno Jr. was the creation of Jason Bardis from Santa Barbra ,California. His opponent is New Cruelty, a 4-wheeled bot, used to be 8-wheeled and his builder is Richard Stuplich from Wasaw, Wisconsin.

SEAN: Strap yourselves in for the age of robotic destruction is upon us. First, Atomic Wedgie tries to out-maneuver T-Minus. Then Blade Runner and Atomic 2 trade slams. Finally, Techno Destructo battles ShoveMaster2000. Good evening and welcome to yet another night of pure destruction, I'm Sean Salisbury.

BIL: I'm Bil Dwyer. Tonight we have 6 more bots ready to tear up their opponents. Here's our first pair. Atomic Wedge is a wedge that is the same on both top and bottom. It features dual trifoils and was built by Robert Everhart, Charlie Payne and Tom Corrie from Columbia, Maryland. His opponent is T-Minus, a bot from the team of Inertia Labs. His builders are Zander Rose and Reason Bradley of Sausalito, California.

SEAN: Thanks Bil, now lets go to Mark Beiro for the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square, to my right: He leaves all opponents dazed and out of commission. Those who have yet to face him fear his wrath will get them next because he's ATOMIC WEDGIE! And in the Blue Square: He boasts a wicked flipping arm and a nasty grudge on all who oppose him. Welcome T-MINUS!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Oh, look at T-Minus, who strikes an early flip on Atomic Wedgie!

BIL: It's no problem for Atomic Wedgie, he can right himself, Sean. However, T-Minus seems to be struggling to work his flipper.

SEAN: That's not a good sign as Atomic Wedgie delivers a punishing blow to T-Minus. A second blow and T-Minus is kind of inverted.

BIL: He's driving on his flipper, Sean!

SEAN: Take a look at the big blow these two made as

T-Minus is on his back right now.

BIL: T-Minus' flipper is good but it struggles when

T-Minus isn't on his back, Sean.

SEAN: True but T-Minus seems to have overcome the problem as he's back on his wheels, Bil. Oh my goodness! Atomic Wedgie's on his roof! If you're Atomic Wedgie, you need to get back over quickly or you'll be counted out.

BIL: I don't see that happening, Sean. His righting top is on the outside, so I think this one's over.

MARK: Introducing first, in the Red Square: To deal with his opponents he spins and spins and when he is through with them he wins and wins because he's BLADE RUNNER! RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

ROBERT: I am ready!

ILYA: Ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Both robots with a nose-to-nose hit and Blade Runner appears to be stuck by those Killsaws, Bil.

BIL: He sure does, Sean. Guess he's free now.

SEAN: Look at Atomic 2, who just lost one of his side panels there!

BIL: What a hit! Atomic 2 still movin', though. Blade Runner's on his back now!

SEAN: Just like that he's back onto his feet. Oh, now Atomic 2 doing damage to Blade Runner as Blade Runner just lost his back wedge and is flipped over!

BIL: Take a look at Atomic 2, Sean. He's on his back end, his self-righting top is helpless. We just saw this in our last bout. Poor Robert.

SEAN: That's two more robots moving onto the next round, Bil. So who are our last two competitors and what do you know about them?

BIL: Plenty, Sean. Techno Destructo was the creation of Sean Irvin of Melbourne, Florida. He has a strong flipper that can also act as a wedge. ShoveMaster2000, has a plow-like weapon at the front. His builder is George Hazard from Trenton, NJ.

MARK: Introducing, in the Red Square, to my right: This flipping fiend launches and destroys his opponents with overwhelming force. He's TECHNO DESTRUCTO! And his opponent, in the Blue Square: When it comes to battling in the Battlebox, he shoves and shoves. When it comes to defeat, he does what nobody loves. He's SHOVEMASTER2000!

SEAN: the box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! ShoveMaster immediately on the attack on Techno Destructo and it looks to me like Techno Destructo is stuck, Bil.

BIL: Yeah, his wheel is on the outside of the arena, Sean. I don't think he's getting out of there.

SEAN: Not with ShoveMaster delivering more blows to him.

Blade Runner advances after trading hits with Atomic 2 and knocking him on his back and out of the tournament. In our last match, ShoveMaster2000 makes a quick slam, ending the reign of the flipper bot Techno Destructo.

Episode 6:

SEAN: Another night of robot carnage is upon us as Twin Paradox tries to show Mauler 5150 who's boss. The knife-thrower Overkill tries to hack the saw bot Ginsu. Finally, Mechavore and Deadblow have a feast on one another. Good evening and welcome to another of our weekly slamfests, I'm Sean Salisbury.

BIL: I'm Bil Dwyer.

SEAN: Tonight's fights are looking to dish out more amazing hits. Let's bring on our first competitors.

BIL: Mauler 5150 is a spinner with swinging flails on the sides. His builder is Charles Tilford of Portola Valley, California. Twin Paradox is a box with a disc at the front. He was built by Michael Neese and Skunk-Tek of Charlotte, North Carolina.

SEAN: Let's go to Mark Beiro for the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: This deadly Battlebot has sent numerous opponents running home. Here is TWIN PARADOX! And his opponent, in the blue square: Don't ever turn your back to this mighty spinner of doom or you'll end up in thousands of pieces. Please welcome MAULER 5150!

MICHAEL: Ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Already punishment to Twin Paradox as he is now upside down. That's what Mauler brings to the table! Twin Paradox takes damage from the Killsaws.

BIL: Twin Paradox on his back now, doesn't hurt him though, as his wheels are still on the ground, Sean.

SEAN: Another punishing blow by Mauler and it looks as though Twin Paradox has better turning radius than he normally has right now, Bil. Something was hit from that attack. Oh my goodness! Mauler's on his back!

BIL: Mauler, Mauler, Mauler, how many times have we seen this?

SEAN: Well Mauler gets to ride home as Twin Paradox advances. Lets' go to Mark Beiro for the results.

SEAN: So Twin Paradox kicks the deadly Mauler out of the tournament. Now for our next match up and my partner Bil has the statistics of our competitors.

BIL: Indeed, Sean. Overkill was built by Christian Carleberg of North Hollywood California. It has a wedge in front and a swinging knife in back. Ginsu was built by Trey Roski. His weapons are many saw blades that also act as wheels.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square, to my right: Never stare at this knife throwing Battlebot for he'll slice you in two! Here is OVERKILL! And his opponent, in the blue square: Every opponent he has faced has been turned into only shards of metal. Introducing GINSU!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

CHRISTIAN: I'm ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

TREY: Ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Overkill trying to gain an early lead on Ginsu but Ginsu's not letting him. Take a look at that, Overkill's been flipped by Ginsu!

BIL: You don't usually expect a bot like Ginsu to flip anything except itself when it rolls onto another set of its saws.

SEAN: No, you don't, Bil and it's amazing that Ginsu  didn't flip himself in the process. Ginsu drives Overkill to the Pulverizors!

BIL: Overkill looks to be stuck with the Spike Strip, Sean.

SEAN: Not quite for Overkill's wheels are still on the ground, Bil.  There comes Overkill's escape. Not a lot of offensive play by either Battlebot.  Ginsu's on his side, so this one is over!

SEAN: Overkill's moving on to face either Deadblow or Mechavore. Let's get the official decision from Mark Beiro.

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Deadblow with an attempted flip on Mechavore but Mechavore escapes.

BIL: Mechavore's a lot smaller than Deadblow, Sean, he's gotta be careful or Deadblow will flip him over.

SEAN: Mechavore escapes the Killsaws. Mechavore not showing a lot of offensive play, right now. He seems to be almost running away from Deadblow.

BIL: Not a bad idea considering how vulnerable he is to flipping, Sean.

SEAN: Speaking of flipping, Bil, Mechavore's been flipped by the Killsaws!

BIL: That's it, Deadblow movin' on.

SEAN: We're serving up 3 courses of robotic destruction as Question Mark battles Dreadnaught. The bull Toro tries to win in the trial against The Judge and finally, if you're still hungry, watch as Hazard and Tazbot fight for the next round. Hello and welcome to yet another smash-filled night. I'm Sean Salisbury and the man to my left is Bil Dwyer. I can see that with these bouts we will not only have winners and losers but great fights.

BIL: I'm with you on that, Sean.

SEAN: Bil, introduce our fans to our first competitors.

BIL: Question Mark is a Biohazard-like design. Built by Carlo Bertocchini from Belmont California. Dreadnaught was built by Christian Carlberg from North Hollywood, California. He has a rear wedge and a horizontal spinning disc for weapons.

SEAN: Let's go to Mark Beiro for the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: This is not a dangerous material, it is also an exact duplicate of another Battlebot. Please welcome QUESTION MARK! And his opponent, in the blue square: The only thing on the minds of other Battlebots when they face this maniacal demon is to avoid his deadly blade at all costs because he's DREADNAUGHT!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

CARLO: Ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

CHRISTIAN: I am ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Question Mark on the left, Dreadnaught on the right as we see Dreadnaught stuck in one of the slots for the Killsaws. Dreadnaught being pushed to the Pulverizors and Dreadnaught doesn't quite escape.

BIL: Dreadnaught might want to back into Question Mark and use the wedge, Sean. Oh man, a big hit by Dreadnaught! What an effective wedge, Sean!

SEAN: It is very effective, Bil as we see Dreadnaught again delivering punishment to Question Mark and Question Mark is starting to fall apart, one of his side skirts is gone and a piece of his top armor is missing. Question Mark has got to start finding weaknesses in Dreadnaught if he is to win this fight, Bil.

BIL: Yeah, I don't see any signs of Question Mark getting under Dreadnaught at all, Sean.

SEAN: There's a slight shove by Question Mark but he's going to have to do better as Dreadnaught makes another slam into the wall and Question Mark is on his back and in trouble. Oh they're counting him out now as the Pulverizor continues to pound away.  Let's go to Mark Beiro for the official decision.

MARK: Ladies' and gentleman, the time: 2 minutes, 8 seconds. The winner, by knockout and advancing to the next round: the blue square, Dreadnaught!

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: He helps solve court cases, he punishes the bad and he takes his problems out on other robots, he's THE JUDGE! And his opponent, in the blue square: You will not see him flipping pancakes, you will not see him as a car jack, you will see him beating the crap out of other robots. He's TORO!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

JACHA: Ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

REASON: I'm ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! The Judge with an early attack on Toro but only struck the flipper. Toro seeming to be struggling to find an opening to flip The Judge over, Bil.

BIL: Yeah, The Judge doesn't have many ways of being flipped, Sean, he's so low to the ground that the flipper would have to be practically touching the floor to get underneath.

SEAN: Toro's weapon looks to be incapacitated but he still slams the Judge into the wall and onto his side! The Judge looks to be in major trouble, Bil as we see him being pushed to the Pulverizors.

BIL: There are a lot of blows being done by the Pulverizor, right now. I think Toro has won this, Sean.

RED REF: 10......9.....8......7.......6.....5......4......3......2......1.....stop the match!

SEAN: So Toro moves on after losing his weaponry. Lets' go to Mark Beiro for the official results.

BIL: With pleasure, Sean. Hazard is a wedge with a spinning bar on top. His builders are Tony Buchignani and Dan Danick. Tazbot was built by Donald Hutson of San Diego California. His weapon is a 360 degree turret and side wedges.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: Don't think you can hide from this nasty monster. He'll turn you inside out because he's TAZBOT! And his opponent in the blue square: He has a small wedge and a nasty spinning blade. When he's done with you, you'll need more than a few stitches. Introducing HAZARD!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

DON: I'm definitely ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

TONY:  Ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Tazbot trying to use his turret to get under Hazard, which is a good strategy if he can do so and flip Hazard over.

BIL: Doesn't seem to be working, Sean as Hazard just brutally slammed Tazbot into the wall and I think he may be already knocked out.

SEAN: He doesn't appear to be knocked out but rather stuck. He's trying to use his pickaxe to free himself but it's not working either. Take a look now as they seem to have snagged Hazard and have flipped him over.

BIL: Too bad, though, as it seems like Hazard's moving on anyway.

SEAN: Hazard is definitely moving on, lets go to Mark Beiro for the official decision.

BIL: Dreadnaught dominated Question Mark by slamming him into the wall and flipping him over, then letting the Pulverizor finish him off. In the second bout, despite Toro's loss of his flipping arm, he managed to get The Judge under the Pulverizor for a quick knockout. In our last bout, Hazard moves on after Tazbot gets stuck in the spikestrip but still managed to flip Hazard over.

SEAN: The dawn of destruction has arrived as Sabotage battles Dooall. Minion II tries some slicing and dicing against Dr. Indestructible. Finally, Tentomushi 8.0 trades blows with Ziggo. Hello and welcome to another slamfest, I'm Sean Salisbury and he's Bil Dwyer.

BIL: That I am, Sean and we have another 3 Battlebots thirsty for robot carnage.

SEAN: Bill, tell our viewers about are first Battlebots tonight.

BIL: Dooall, once a treaded bot is now a four-wheeled bot. He still has the pneumatic ram and was built by Scot Lavally from San Rafael, California. His opponent is Sabotage. He has a flipper, which also can act as a wedge. His builder is Matt Sabotino of Greenwood, California.

SEAN: Thanks Bil, now let's go to Mark Beiro for the introductions.

MARK: Introducing first, in the red square to my right: This isn't an ordinary spatula. It is not designed to swat flies, it is designed to destroy other robots. Welcome SABOTAGE! And his opponent, in the blue square: He won't do some of it, he won't do most of it he'll do it all because he's DOOALL!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

SCOT: Ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

MATT: I'm ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Sabotage with an early flip on Dooall. Sabotage continuing to be the early aggressor as he once again flips Dooall. Oh, look at that as Dooall slams Sabotage into the wall!

BIL: Both are well-made bots, this one's going the distance, Sean.

SEAN: There goes another blow by Sabotage and it looks to me like Dooall is stuck.

BIL: Sure does, Sean, but he's free now.

SEAN: Dooall's taking Sabotage to the Pulverizors!

BIL: Two great pounding blows by the Pulverizor!

SEAN: Take a look at Sabotage, who is now on his back, he's in trouble.

BIL: Yeah he is, especially since his flipper can't get underneath Dooall at all.

SEAN: A big slam by Sabotage and both robots seem incapacitated, Bil.

BIL: They are, so the refs will have to pause and free the bots.

SEAN: Dooall strikes back with a slam of his own and Sabotage has been flipped back over. We're down to about 30 seconds and Sabotage flips Dooall once again.

BIL: What a fight by these two!

SEAN: Let's go to Mark Beiro for the Judges Decision.

SEAN: Dooall goes home, now let's start our next match up. What do you know about these robots, Bil?

BIL: Minion II is pretty much his longer-wedged robot Minion except that this one has two saws instead of one. Built by Christian Carleburg in North Hollywood, California. Dr. Indestructible has a 3-wheel drive, letting him move 360 degrees. He was built by George Hazard in Trenton, New Jersey.

SEAN:  Let's go down to Mark Beiro with the statistics.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square, to my right: If you're expecting to leave with all your limbs attached, think again for you're fighting MINION II! And his opponent in the blue square:  His objective: destroy other robots, his plan: slam maliciously, his name: DR INDESTRUCTIBLE!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin time! Dr. Indestructible getting underneath Minion II but can't seem to move him to one of the hazards. Take a look, now as  Dr. Indestructible is flipped onto his side, then onto his back from the Killsaws. Dr. Indestructible seems to be dominating this fight as he lifts Minion and slams him into the wall.

BIL: Something's wrong with Dr. Indestructible, Sean, he can't seem to free himself from the wall.

SEAN: He appears to be stuck somehow between the wall and the edge of the floor, Bil. Minion's just taking cheap shots at Dr. Indestructible but he's moving on.

BLUE REF: 10......9.....8......7.......6.....5......4......3......2......1.....stop the match!

SEAN: Minion II moving on. Let's get the official decision from Mark Beiro.

MARK: Ladies and gentlemen, the time, 1 minute, 55 seconds, the winner, by knockout, in the red square, Minion II!

SEAN: Now for our last pair of Battlebots

BIL: Tentomush 8.0 is pretty much a sandbox on wheels. Built by Lisa Winter of Walnut Creek California. Her opponent is Ziggo, a spinner,  built by John Ridder of San Jose, California.

SEAN: Time for the introductions with Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right, she may look cute and cuddly but she'll tear you limb from limb. Please welcome TENTOMUSHI 8.0! And her opponent, in the blue square:  The only respect he shows is by totally annihilating his opponents. Introducing ZIGGO!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

LISA: I'm ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

JON: I'm ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Tentomushi with an early flip but Ziggo uses that flag on top to self-right and does so. Ziggo seems to be the more aggressive, right now, Bil.

BIL: That's right, Sean. Ziggo on the Killsaws right now.

SEAN: Ziggo seems to be taking damage from these hits but yet he keeps going as he flips Tentomushi over. Lisa Winter, a good driver, showing quite a bit now as Ziggo is flipped once again. Oh my goodness, look at the hit just delivered by Tentomushi!

BIL: Tentomushi just tore Ziggo apart! Oh man, what a hit!

SEAN: We have just under 30 seconds to go and Ziggo's unable to self-right because he's up against the wall.

BIL: What an awesome fight!

SEAN: It was indeed awesome, Bil, let's go to Mark Beiro for the results.

MARK: The 3 judges at arena side have turned in a 27-23 decision for the blue square, ZIGGO!

SEAN: Amazingly, Ziggo goes through but he's going to need some major repairs before his next fight. Well another great slam-filled night. Bil take us through the hits once more time.

BIL: Sabotage out flipped and out maneuvered Dooall to move on. Minion II shows Dr. Indestructible that there's no such thing as an indestructible bot and heads to the next round. Finally, despite being blown to pieces by Tentomushi, Ziggo advances to the next round.

Episode 3:

SEAN: It's a day of robot demolition on Battlebots! Vlad II wants to put Ronin to an early grave, Mechadon and Grendel try survival of the fittest and if you're still thirsty for robot annihilation, we're serving up a glass of pain and punishment as Nightmare takes on Warhead. Hello everyone and welcome to another smashing fight-filled night, I'm Sean Salisbury.

BIL: And I'm Bil Dwyer.

SEAN: Bil, we have 3 more rounds of robotic destruction to get through, tonight. Tell us about our first pair of Battlebots.

BIL: Vlad II was built by Gauge Cauchois from Oakland California. He has two lifting forks at the front and a self-righting mechanism on top to right him if flipped over. His opponent is Ronin, who has a spinning saw blade. His creator, Peter Abrahamson, is from Burbank, California.

SEAN: Let's go to Mark Beiro for the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square, to my right: This sinister robot will not leave until every limb you have is torn off. Welcome RONIN! And his opponent, in the blue square, other robots may have flippers, some have axes but this one bares two lifting forks and he's going to use them on you, please welcome VLAD II!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

GAUGE: I'm ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

PETER: Ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Vlad II already under Ronin but Ronin is able to get away.

BIL: I don't think Ronin will get any where with that blade or with that high ground clearance, Sean.

SEAN: That is true, Bil as we now see Vlad flipping Ronin over but Ronin's not stuck because his flags have the ability to self-right.

BIL: Vlad again on the aggressive with a slam into the wall! Ronin doesn't seem to be doing much.

SEAN: No but he is hanging in there. Take a look at that, Vlad has slammed Ronin into the corner with the Pulverizor and I think he's incapacitated!

BIL: That Pulverizor is definitely pounding on him, Sean. I think Ronin is definitely out.

SEAN: Yes he is, Bil.

RED REF: 10......9.....8......7.......6.....5......4......3......2......1.....stop the match!

SEAN: So Vlad II runs to the next round. Now we go to our next round.

BIL: Mechadon is a stomp bot built by Mark Setrakian. Grendel has a spring-loaded hammer and was built by Daniel Rupert

SEAN: It's that time again so let's go to Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: he crawls up your walls, he scurries down your halls he's the bug that is scary-looking overall, he's MECHADON! And his opponent, in the blue square: Once he finds you, you are on his menu of defeat! Introducing GRENDEL!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

MARK S: Ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

DANIEL: I am ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Both bots not able to do much since both are low to the ground and don't have any type of wedge or flipper. It should be a 3-minute match, Bil.

BIL: Unless one of them is flipped by the Killsaws or something, I think you're right, Sean.

SEAN: Grendel now slamming Mechadon into the wall but not enough to flip him. Take a look now, as he shoves Mechadon under the Pulverizors!

BIL: Grendel also took a shot from the Pulverizors and now the Killsaws!

SEAN: Looks like Mechadon's caught in between the spikes in the wall, Bil.

BIL: Yeah, I don't think he'll be able to get out of there but he's certainly trying and is free.

SEAN: We're under a minute to go now as Grendel with yet another slam into the wall.

BIL: What a fight!

SEAN: Yes, it will be difficult to determine the winner, Bil.

BIL: How did Mechadon advance, Sean?

SEAN: I'm not sure I understand it either, Bil, but I think it may have had something to do with aggression. Now let's go for our final bout.  What do you know about these next two robots, Bil?

BIL: A lot, Nightmare has a very powerful spinning disc. He was built by Jim Smentowski from Novato, California. Warhead was built by Vinny Blood from Bordmoth.

SEAN: Let's go to Mark Beiro for the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: This isn't a dream, you're really fighting this deadly robot. He's none other than your worst NIGHTMARE! And his opponent, in the blue square: Mess with him and he'll leave you with nothing but a grinding headache. He's WARHEAD!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

JIM:  Ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

VINCENT: I'm ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Take a look at that, Warhead just brutally slammed Nightmare into the wall and now he's stuck there!

BIL: What an opening play by Warhead!

SEAN: Looks like Nightmare is free but only able to drive on one wheel, Bil.

BIL: At least he's moving, maybe he'll get back over with Warhead's help.

SEAN: He's certainly not getting it now as Warhead shoves Nightmare under the Pulverizor! Nightmare's back over now! Oh my goodness, Nightmare is now stuck under one of the spikes in our Spike Strip!

BIL: Nightmare just did a big flip to get back over, Sean.

SEAN: Look at Warhead, he's lost his weapon! We've never seen this happen in the history of Battlebots!

BIL: Nicely done by Jim Smentowski and Nightmare!

SEAN: We're just about wrapped up in this bout as Nightmare flips Warhead!

BIL: What a fight, what a fight!

SEAN: Nightmare takes the 27-19 Judges Decision, Bil. It looked to me like the last two hits in the match were the ones that won him the match.

BIL: Seems like it to me, too, Sean, every other time it was all Warhead.

SEAN: Well another night of robotic destruction ends. Bil, take us through the highlights.

BIL: Vlad II dominated Ronin by smashing him with the Pulverizor for the eventual knockout. Mechadon walks through to the next round after taking the Judges Decision. Despite being basically dominated by Warhead, the judges gave Nightmare the victory.

SEAN: Well for Donna Dierrico, Randy and Jason Sklar and Bil Nye, I'm Sean Salisbury.

Episode 2:

SEAN: It's chaos in the Battlebox as  a newcomer Mac Attack tries to make a sandwich out of The Devil. El Diablo wants to make scrap metal out of Alpha Raptor. Still want more? Well fasten your seatbelts as Vlad and Panic Attack trade flips and punches. Hello everyone and welcome to another carnage-filled night. I'm Sean Salisbury and this is my partner Bil Dwyer.

BIL: Alright, tonight we have another 6 bots ready to rumble and tear their opponent to pieces.

SEAN: That's exactly right, Bil and I can tell that they're all ready to give their opponent a major helping of domination.

BIL: Our first match up features Mac Attack, a hamburger-shaped bot with spinning saws as his main weapon. He was created by Mc Donalds themselves in the United States. His opponent is The Devil. He's a robot similar to El Diablo but instead of the spinning drum and spiked tail, he has a wedge and can run upside down.

SEAN: Let's go to Mark Beiro for the official introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: If you think that this Battlebot is harmless, you'd better think again for he's THE DEVIL! And his opponent, in the blue square: This isn't a hamburger you eat, this isn't a hamburger you cut, this is a hamburger that kills! Please welcome MAC ATTACK!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

ZACH: Ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

MCDs: We're ready!

BLUE REF: Blue drivers are ready!

SEAN:  The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! The Devil already delivering punishment to the newcomer Mac Attack as he slams him into the wall.

BIL: Doesn't look like Mac Attack's saws are going to be of any use, are they, Sean?

SEAN: I think you're right, Bil, it seems that his saws are just too high to be within reach of The Devil. Another punishing blow by The Devil.

BIL: Not a lot of offensive play by Mac Attack.

SEAN: Well being the newcomer generally would contribute but also his weapons are ineffective and he doesn't have any additional weapons to maybe get underneath The Devil. Take a look now as we see Mac Attack near the Pulverizors and it looks like The Devil is stuck at the yellow spot near the Spike Strip.

BIL: Looks like The Devil is free now.

SEAN: Yes and now he has just delivered the final blow as we see Mac Attack on his side with just under a minute to go.

BIL: That was a sweet fight!

BLUE REF: 10....9....8....7....6....5....4....3.....2....1.....Stop the Match!

SEAN: So The Devil advances to the next round and Mac Attack goes home. Now for our next pairing so let's go to Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: He's red, he hates everything he's read, he's here to destroy you instead, he's EL DIABLO! And his opponent, in the blue square: Get him mad and you'll be without your face! Introducing ALPHA RAPTOR!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

ZACH: Ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

CHUCK: I'm ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Take a look at the early aggression by Alpha Raptor as he slams El Diablo into the wall, Bil

BIL: That was quite the slam, Sean but El Diablo hasn't slowed down a bit.

SEAN: This is looking to be a great fight with both drivers pushing the other around. Are they both now incapacitated, Bil?

BIL: Sure looks like it, Sean, they're going to have to separate them. El Diablo's going to need to rack up some points or go for the knockout to win this.

SEAN: That's right since he hasn't really done anything on the offensive to Alpha Raptor but look now as both bots are flipped over! The fight doesn't need to be reset because El Diablo can self-right but it looks to me like Alpha Raptor cannot since his main weapon is gone.

BLUE REF: 10....9.....8.....7.....6.....5.....4.....3.....2.....1....Stop the Match!

BIL:  Look at El Diablo just playing with Alpha Raptor even while he's disabled.

SEAN: Alpha Raptor leaves while El Diablo advances. Let's go to our final match of the night. Mark Beiro has the statistics.

MARK: Introducing, first, in the red square to my right: Don't think he's a pain killer. In fact, he's more like a pain giver, he's PANIC ATTACK! And his opponent, in the blue square: This fearless robot leaves pain and destruction everywhere he goes. Welcome VLAD THE IMPALER!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

ZACH: Ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

GAUGE: I'm ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Killerhurtz with an early attack on Minion. Killerhurtz takes damage from the Killsaws. Take a look at that, Killerhurtz is under Minion and flips him over!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Oh my goodness, Vlad's already on his back end from Panic Attack!

BIL: Vlad's usually a good driver.

SEAN: Yes, Gauge Cauchois is definitely a good driver but it seems like Kim Davis is slightly better. Take a look at that, Panic Attack is helping Vlad!

BIL: So Panic's being a little generous to Vlad.

SEAN: Vlad seems to be struggling to find an opening to lift and slam, Bil.

BIL: Yeah, Panic Attack has skirts on 3 of the four sides, Sean, and with his lifting forks that high, it's no problem for Panic Attack to flip Vlad.

SEAN: Oh! Both bots are incapacitated! Wait a minute, it looks as if Panic Attack has found a way to right himself and he has!

BIL: What a shame for Vlad. If only he could have gotten underneath Panic Attack, he could've probably won.

BLUE REF: 10....9....8.....7.....6.....5.....4.....3.....2.....1.....Stop the Match!

SEAN: Well, there you have it, another 3 bots advance to the next round. Bil, take us through the highlights.

BIL: The Devil advances after splitting apart the hamburger bot, Mac Attack. El Diablo tore up and flipped Alpha Raptor to earn a spot in the next round. Finally, Panic Attack proved to be too much for Vlad the Impaler as he advances to the next round.

Episode 1:

SEAN: Tonight we have a triple play of destruction. First, the UK Killerhurtz tries to go nose to nose with Minion. Next, It's another wedge fest as Ankle Biter and Bad Attitude trade blows. Finally it's a battle of the blades as Diesector and Son of Whyachi duke it out. (Battlebots opening theme). Strap yourselves in as we have a brand new Battlebots Tournament to start. Bil, tell us about our first two competitors.

BIL: Killerhurtz is a wedge with an axe. His builder is Jon Reid from Oxford. Minion is a wedge with a fireman's saw. His builder is Christian Carlberg of North Hollywood California.

SEAN: Let's go down to Mark Beiro for the introductions.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: He's not here to say hello, he's not here to wish you luck, he's here to destroy you, here is KILLERHURTZ! And his opponent, in the blue square, he'll shove you, he'll mangle you, he'll shred you but he will not love you, he's MINION!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

JON: Ready!

RED REF: Red driver is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

CHRISTIAN: I'm ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Killerhurtz with an early attack on Minion. Killerhurtz takes damage from the Killsaws. Take a look at that, Killerhurtz is under Minion and flips him over!

BIL: He's getting pulverized!

SEAN: That he is as he brings himself back to his wheels.

BIL: Minion just took a big hit from Killerhurtz's axe

SEAN: And he lost his self-righting mechanism, which could mean trouble if he's flipped over, Bil. Take a look at Minion, who has just slammed Killerhurtz into the wall and flipped him!

BIL: Killerhurtz isn't looking too good right now, Sean, he seems to be having trouble righting himself.

SEAN: He's up against the wall, which drops out many angles for self-righting.

BIL: Look at Minion taking cheap shots on Killerhurtz with his saw!

SEAN: There we see the flip-over by Killerhurtz.

BIL: Oh, look at Minion, who's now jammed between the wall and the floor, Sean!

SEAN: He's in trouble if he can't free himself.  We are down to the last few seconds of the bout now as Minion slams Killerhurtz into the Spike Strip!

BIL: What a way to end it too!

SEAN: Let's go to Mark Beiro for the official decision.

MARK: The 3 judges at arena side, have turned in a 21 to 19 decision....for....the blue square, MINION!

SEAN: Next up, it's Bad Attitude vs. Ankle Biter so let's go to Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square to my right: He's bad, he's mad, he's the worst pet you'd ever have, he's ANKLE BITER! And his opponent, in the blue square: The only favor he'll ask you to do is lose to him in a Battlebots tournament. Please welcome BAD ATTITUDE!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time! Bad Attitude immediately slams Ankle Biter into the corner. Take a look now, as AB is slammed into the Spike Strip!

BIL: Where AB has gotten stuck countless times.

SEAN: Not this time as he is free and is now slamming BA into the wall.

BIL: This is a great fight, two robots not afraid of slamming one another into the wall!

SEAN: Bad Attitude has Ankle Biter under the Pulverizor, our renovated Pulverizor!

BIL: Ankle Biter just flipped BA over, right onto the Killsaws!

SEAN: BA is lucky this time because the Killsaws helped him out but it also gave AB hazard points.

BIL: Bad Attitude not looking good right now, he's just lost a side panel.

SEAN: Is Bad Attitude incapacitated, Bil?

BIL: Yeah, it looks like he is, I can't see his wheels touching the ground, Sean. Oh, they're counting BA out!

SEAN: Well, Ankle Biter moves on to the next round. Bil, who are our next pair of bots?

BIL: Son of Whyachi is a kind of walker bot with a helicopter-like weapon. His builder is Terry Ewart of Dorchester, Wisconsin. Diesector is built by Donald Hutson of San Diego California. His weapons are two battle axes. jaws and a wedge.

SEAN: Well, here to introduce the bots is Mark Beiro.

MARK: Introducing, in the red square, to my right: If you even think that you are going to beat him unscathed, talk to DIESECTOR! And his opponent, in the blue square: Don't make fun of this deadly robot or you'll end up without any legs to stand on. Welcome SON OF WHYACHI!

RED REF: Red driver, are you ready?

DON: Ready!

RED REF: Diesector is ready!

BLUE REF: Blue driver, are you ready?

TERRY: Ready!

BLUE REF: Son of Whyachi is ready!

SEAN: The box is locked, the lights are on, it's robot fightin' time!

BIL: Diesector comes straight out of his square and slams into SOW, trying to flip him over but SOW moves away.

SEAN: SOW just flipped Diesector, what an amazing moment there!

BIL: Doesn't matter because Diesector can run either way and slams SOW into the wall and it looks like SOW lost his wheels!

SEAN: He's incapacitated!

BIL: What a fight!

SEAN: Our first Battlebots episode has come to a close. Bil, take us through the highlights

BIL: With pleasure. Minion takes a close victory, despite the brutal attacks by Killerhurtz. Ankle Biter moves on after Bad Attitude got caught in  the Spike Strip. Finally, Diesector rides to the next round after pulling off a one-hit knock out.
