Episode 127: Settling the Score (1)
On the dam where Quinton and Trey met Mizar, the trio exchange words of victory and the others' defeat before duel preparations get underway. Meanwhile, Girag and Alito are with Vector and not willing to take orders from him without a good reason. Vector gives them a very good reason in the form of Don Thousand, whom appears and possesses them, allowing Vector to get what he wants. Meanwhile, Cathy and Caswell break the news to Kara regarding Yuma's wherabouts. Kara is angry and starts to dash out but Haru stops her and assures that, along with Cathy and Caswell, they have to believe Yuma will return and she still has time to make Yuma's favorite dish. On the ship, Yuma is aware of why Trey and Quinton are did what they did but need to understand that it's not about hurting your enemies, it's about making friends but Astral notes that Trey and Quinton are doing what they think is right.
Therefore, Yuma should do what he thinks is right, especially since that's what he's always been doing. At the duel site, Mizar sets the rules whereby he gets all 4000 LPs while Trey and Quinton share an equal amount of LPs. Quinton and Trey agree to the terms but will start the duel. Quinton starts the duel by drawing, then discarding Deep Space Cruiser IX for Deep Space Cruiser IX (900) in Attack Mode. Next he uses Monster Reborn on the discarded Deep Space Cruiser IX, then uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 9: Dyson Sphere (2800) in Attack Mode. Up above, Dumon and Marin see the massive monster and hope they never have to face it. Even Mizar is surprised at its size but Quinton isn't done and activates Spell Summon Stopper to prevent Mizar from Summoning using a Spell Card during his next turn. Quinton had studied data from Quattro's duel with Nash and aims to stop the Barians' Rank-Up-Magic strategy. For now, Quinton sets 2 cards to end his turn.
Trey catches as Marin and Dumon appear to watch but he and Quinton aren't willing to let them leave by Mizar's request and create a sphere field. Vector wants to watch too and Mizar promises quite a show. Mizar draws and Special Summons Schwarzchild Limit Dragon (2000) in Attack Mode since Trey and Quinton control a monster with 2000 or more ATK. Next he uses Ergosphere to add another Schwarzchild Limit Dragon to his hand (as he controls one but they don't tell you that), which he then Summons. With that, he uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon (3000) on Attack Mode. While Girag and Nash settle their own dilemma, Mizar attacks Number 9 with Number 107. However, Quinton is ready and attempts Number 9's effect to negate the attack. Still, Mizar is also ready and activates Number 107's effect to detach an Xyz Material from itself and not only negate Number 9's effects but gain 1000 ATK to 4000 since Number 9 was attempting to use its effect. Worse still, now Number 107 can attack again. As a result, his attack takes out Number 9 to leave Trey and Quinton on the ground and down to 2800 LPs.
Finally, Mizar sets 2 cards to end his turn, returning his monster's ATK to normal. While Kite focuses on his mission despite the loss of Dyson Sphere, Quinton isn't really phased by Number 107 and neither is Trey, whom draws and Summons Chronomaly Gordian Knot (300) in Attack Mode. Due to CGK's effect, Trey Special Summons Chronomaly Sol Monolith (600) in Attack Mode without its effects. (The real card doesn't negate the Special Summoned monster's effects.) As a result, CGK's other effect makes its Level match Sol Monolith's, making it Level 6. Trey then uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis (2600) in Attack Mode. Now, Trey  uses its effect to equip itself with Number 9 from the Grave but Mizar counters with Tachyon Flare Wing to equip Number 9 to Number 107 and negate Number 6's effect. Trey and Quinton knew this would happen and show Mizar a surprise by activating Rank-Up-Magic Argent Chaos Force to use Number 6 as Xyz Material for Chaos Number 6: Chronomaly Chaos Atlandis (Number C6: Chronomaly Chaos Atlandis in the CG) (3300) in Attack Mode.
Trey's attack prompts Mizar to use TFW's other effect to send itself to the Graveyar and prevent Number 107's destruction in battle, bringing his score down to 3700. Despite Mizar's claim, Trey shares that Chaos Atlandis now equips itself with the monster it battled with, a total surprise for Mizar. (The real card equips itself with a monster as an Equip Spell that give it 1000 ATK but prevents the opponent from taking further damage so this wouldn't have worked as Mizar already took Battle Damage.) As a bonus, Chaos Atlandis gains 1000 ATK per card it's equipped with, raising its ATK to 4300. Dumon and Marin are surprised but Mizar is beyond angry as he'd never been made such a fool of until now. Trey sets 2 cards to end his turn but Mizar claims he'll be the one to end the duel. Mizar performs a Chaos draw to get Rank-Up-Magic - The Seventh One but with Number 107 not on his field, it's a useless card. Vector, Quinton and Trey show no remorse for Mizar but Mizar assures that they've just guaranteed his victory.
