Episode 83: Sphere Cube Calamity (2)
At the duel, Yuma and Astral struggle to comprehend that a Number monster over 100 exists when they'd been under the impression that only 100 Number cards exist. Shark and Rio arrive but before they can find out what's going on, Mizar attacks with Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon but Yuma activates Utopia's effect to detach an Xyz Material from itself and negate the attack. However, Mizar is ready with his own monster's effect and detaches an Xyz Material from itself to negate Utopia's effect and gain 1000 ATK since Yuma's Xyz Monster activated its effect, raising its ATK to 4000 and attack again. As a result, Utopia is destroyed and Yuma is down to 2500 LPs. Yuma strains to get up as Mizar wants but eventually falls and Kite decides to intercept and Rio adds that Kite and Mizars' dragons are calling out to each other, eager to battle.
As a result, Kite enters and tells Yuma he'll take over but Mizar feels he's not the chosen one to wield a Galaxy-Eyes monster, considering Kite's intelligence misplaced. With the stage set to see who is the real owner of the Galaxy-Eyes, Mizar sets 1 card to end his turn, returning his monster's ATK to normal. Determined to beat Number 107, Kite draws and activates Photon Trade to discard 1 card and draw twice. Next, since he controls no monsters, he Special Summons Photon Thrasher (2100) in Attack Mode. Then he Summons Photon Crusher (2000) in Attack Mode. After that, he tributes his monsters to Special Summon Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon (3000) in Attack Mode, creating a surge of light that may end up having explosive results.
Nevertheless, Kite attacks Number 107 with his own Galaxy-Eyes, banishing both monsters briefly, then powering up GEPD by 500 to 3500 for the Xyz Material Number 107 lost. Mizar is ready and activates Instant Overlay to give Number 107 itself as an Xyz Material since it has no Xyz Materials. Then, he uses Number 107's effect once more, giving it 1000 ATK to 4000 and negating GEPD's effects, returning GEPD's ATK to normal. Kite sets 1 card to end his turn, ready for when Mizar attacks. Mizar draws and activates Energy Attracter to make it and Kite's face-down card Xyz Material for the Xyz Materialess Number 107. Then he activates Tachyon Drive to prevent Kite from activating Spell/Trap Cards when Number 107 attacks.
His first attack takes out GEPD but the 2nd attack with Number 107's effect forces Kite to activate the effect of his Photon Specter in the Graveyard to banish itself, revive Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon without its effects, prevent its destruction in battle that turn, and lower its ATK by 1000 to 2000, leaving Kite down to 500 LPs. Mizar ends his turn so Kite draws and uses Monster Reborn to revive Photon Thrasher. Next he summons Photon Circle (1000) in Attack Mode. Then he uses Upshift to make his monsters' Levels equal the monster on his field with the highest Level, which is the Level 8 GEPD, making them all Level 8. With that done, Kite uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon (4500) in Attack Mode.
Due to NGEPD's effects, Number 107 loses its last Xyz Material and effects while NGEPD gains 500 ATK to 5000. His attack takes out Number 107 to leave Mizar down to 2000 LPs. Mizar isn't worried and draws before using his Monster Reborn on Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon (3000) in Attack Mode. Then, after he shows everyone his Barian World form, he uses Rank-Up Magic Barian's Force to use Number 107 as Xyz Material for Chaos Number 107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon (Number C107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon in the CG)(4500) in Attack Mode but the energy is too powerful and while Mizar disappears, the Sphere Field crumbles, ending the duel. Yuma falls to the ground and Shark grabs his hand but both are sent into the abyss below!
