Episode 55: Portal of Doom
Inside the tunnel, Kite and Quinton race ahead as Kite declares that their battle ends now. Meanwhile, while the crowd waits for the return of the video feed, Orbital 7 flies into the tunnel to find Kite and make sure he's okay. However, Yuma and Tori are ahead and he ends up crashing into their coaster car. Both of them need to see Kite so they decide to help each other out. Quinton and Kite arrive at the space field. Duel preparations get underway before Quinton draws and summons Planet Pathfinder (1000) in Attack Mode. Next he Special Summons Solar Wind Jammer (800) in Attack Mode by halving its ATK to 400. (The real card can only be Special Summoned by its effect if you control no monsters.) Then he plays Tannhauser Gate to make their Levels become their combined Levels of 9. With that done, he uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 9: Dyson Sphere (2800) in Attack Mode but Kite will have to wait to see it. Due to the Space Field's effect, Quinton draws 1 card since he Xyz Summoned and sets 1 card to end his turn.
Kite draws, knowing that Quinton's monster is out there somewhere and plays Photon Delta Wing (1800) in Attack Mode and attacks to no avail. As a result, Quinton counterattacks and takes out PDW to leave Kite down to 3000 LPs. Kite asks what's going on and is told he wouldn't understand and is hopelessly outmatched. Yuma, Tori and Oribtal arrive to break the news about Dextra's loss to Vetrix. However, Kite states that he doesn't care and gets a negative reaction. Quinton finds it fitting that the three of them are there and is willing to share what he knows about Yuma's father and we dive into the past. Quinton's father has returned but nothing like he used to be and calls himself Vetrix, sending shivers to Yuma, Kite and Orbital.
Kite has had enough and draws. Next he Special Summons Photon Thrasher (2100) in Attack Mode since he controls no monsters. Then he plays Photon Pirate (1000) in Attack Mode and uses its effect to remove from play PDW to give itself 1000 ATK to 2000. Now he Tributes his monsters for Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon (3000) in Attack Mode and realizes that Dyson Sphere has 2800 ATK due to what happened in his previous turn. His attack fails and everyone sees how big Dyson Sphere is.  No one has ever defeated Dyson Sphere in battle and no one ever will!
