Episode 47: Sky's the Limit
Outside, Yuma is racing to the duel and Astral brings him to a stop to discuss the matter. Yuma's friends arrive a bit later to support him and they eventually head off. Up above, Quinton fears that Astral is more powerful than Vetrix realizes but Vetrix assures that Trey will defeat Yuma and recalls the ritual that took place to bring Trey up to where he is now. Quinton doesn't seem as confident the new powers will be enough but Vetrix goes on another giggle-fest. Yuma and crew arrive at the duel and Trey states that Yuma will have regret coming once he sees the new powers acquired. Duel preparations get underway before Trey draws and tests his new powers successfully. Next he plays Chronomaly City Babylon.
Then, since he controls CCB, he Special Summons Chronomaly Tula Guardian (1800) in Attack Mode. After that, he Normal Summons Chronomaly Golden Jet (1300) in Attack Mode and uses its effect to give it 1 Level to Level 5. Since they're both now Level 5, Trey uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 33: Chronomaly Machu Mech (2400) in Attack Mode. Finally he sets 1 card to end his turn, confident Yuma's high-five tactic is over. Yuma draws and sets a monster and another card for his turn so Trey draws and uses Palenque Sarcophagus to draw 2 cards since he has a Chronomaly card (rather monster) out. Next, he plays Chronomaly Aztec Mask Golem (1500) in Attack Mode since he played a Spell Card. His attack with CAMG reveals but doesn't destroy Yuma's hidden Gogogo Golem (1500) in Defense Mode, which is just as Trey figured.
Trey Summons Chronomaly Cabrera's Catapult (Chronomaly Cabrera Trebuchet in the CG) (0000) in Attack Mode and uses its effect to Tribute CAMG and force GG to Attack Mode and make its ATK 0. Then, he uses Machu Mech's effect to detach an Xyz Material from itself and deal Yuma the difference in GG's original and current ATK. As a result, Yuma is down 1800 LPs to 2200. Finally, CCC/CCT switches to Defense Mode and Trey ends his turn, returning GG's ATK to normal. (The real card doesn't switch to Defense Mode but does have the rest of the effect.) Despite Astral's advice, Yuma wants to duel alone and draws before playing Gagaga Magician (1500) in Attack Mode. (Yeah, because that's worked out SO well previously.)
Next he makes GM Level 8 by its effect and equips it with Bound Wand to give it 100 ATK x its Level, giving it 800 ATK to 2300. His attack prompts Trey to activate Stone Bola to negate the attack and prevent GM from attacking next turn. Yuma continues to ignore Astral, though still follows his advice by setting 1 card to end his turn, returning GM's Level to normal and reducing its ATK to 1900. Trey draws and uses CCB's effect to remove from play CGJ in his Graveyard and revive Chronomaly Aztec Mask Golem from the Graveyard in Defense Mode.  Then he switches CCC/CCT to Attack Mode and proceeds to use its effect but Yuma and Astral are ready with Gagagarush to negate the activation of that effect and destroy it and the higher value is taken out of Trey's score. Since its DEF is higher, Trey takes 1800 damage, bringing him down to 2200.
Astral knew Trey would do that due to his reckless behavior but Trey is determined to beat Yuma and tries out his new power's full potential, undergoing a bit of a transformation in the process. Worse still, Yuma's key disappears and the hologram underneath him crumbles, sending him plummeting downward. Vetrix adds that Trey's new powers have stripped Yuma of everything his father gave him. Yuma ends up at the bottom of the sea and forgets his catchphrase from wherever it came into place. It was all a vision of sorts but Yuma's eyes have darkened and he doesn't have any confidence anymore. Astral realizes the crest was to stop Yuma and cannot help him. Trey decides to remove Astral altogether by chaining him to a pillar.
With Yuma unable to see his key or be helped, Trey attacks and destroys Yuma's GM, leaving Yuma down to 1700 LPs. Trey has finally separated Yuma from Astral!
