Episode 36: Bad Developments (2)
At the duel, Yuma isn't quite willing to accept Cameron Clix's words and draws. Next he plays Achacha Archer (1200) in Attack Mode and uses its effect to deal Cameron 500 damage, bringing him down to 3500 LPs. However, Cameron knew Yuma would play AA and will soon play Bye Bye Damage to make him take twice the battle damage and shows a photo of the event. While Kari communicates with Tori, Cameron draws, giving Cameraclops 400 ATK to 3000 by Telescopic Lens' effect. Next he uses Night Beam to destroy Yuma's hidden Bye Bye Damage, returning Cameraclops' ATK to 2600. Then he plays Scandal Snapper (700) in Attack Mode, leaving Cameraclops with 2200 ATK.  His attacks destroy AA and leave Yuma on the ground and down to 1200 LPs.
Since SS dealt Yuma Battle Damage, it gains 2 Levels to Level 6 and it switches to Defense Mode. Finally, he uses Xyz Frame to prevent Yuma from attacking with a non-Xyz Monster during his next turn and bringing Cameraclops down by another 400 ATK to 1800. Since it's also the 5th turn, Cameron knows Yuma will summon Utopia and eventually lose. Meanwhile, Kari confronts Air Traffic Control, whom share what they know but don't have a plan. Yuma draws and Cameron is already aware of what was drawn and comes up with the steps Yuma will take. Worse still, the 2nd engine on the airship fails and the ship starts to fall. Yuma relays what he's seen to Tori.
Yuma needs to learn more about Number 25: Force Focus so Cameron shares a bit of his past and when things changed. Yuma still doesn't buy his fate being told by a picture and draws before summoning Gogogo Giant (2000) in Attack Mode. Next he uses its effect to revive Gogogo Golem (1500) in Defense Mode before it switches to Defense Mode itself. Instead of Xyz Summoning, Yuma ends his turn, much to Cameron's disgust. Cameron draws and summons Paparazzi Pest (1000) in Attack Mode. Next he uses PP's effect to tribute itself to have Cameraclops gain 2 Levels to Level 6. Then, he uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 25: Force Focus (2800) in Attack Mode. His attack doesn't destroy Gogogo Golem so he uses Force Focus' effect to detach an Xyz Material and negate the effect, thus destroying Gogogo Golem.
Now it's clear that the photos taken before aren't real and they only were successful before because he was good at convincing people they were real. Tori is still in danger and Yuma draws before playing Overlay Owl (800) in Attack Mode. Next he uses OO's effect to pay 600 LPs, bringing him down to 600 LPs and  detach an Xyz Material from Force Focus but Cameron decides to use his monster's effect anyway. Then he uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 39: Utopia (2500) in Attack Mode. Even though this is what Cameron wanted to see, Yuma uses Utopia as Xyz Material for Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray (2500) in Attack Mode. Now he uses Utopia Ray's effect 3 times to give it 1500 ATK to 4000 and reduce Force Focus' ATK by 3000 to 0.
His attack takes out Force Focus to win the duel. After Astral obtains Force Focus, Yuma finds out that things haven't reverted but Kite and Orbital 7 are there to help and get the airship safely to the ground. Tori thanks Yuma for saving her but Kite is the real hero, even if he only did it to save the Duel Carnival. Yuma will be there and accepts Cameron's apology before explaining that a good photo doesn't always need action.
