Inside DA, Jaden and Syrus are racing over to get their sandwiches, which as Syrus says have an all manner of "insides". Jaden picks one up and it's grilled tongue. Alexis shows, saying that it's better to have a bad draw here than during a duel. Jaden thinks that Alexis took the eggwitch but Alexis claims she didn't. Jaden says otherwise but Mrs. Dorothy says Alexis indeed has. She says that no one within the last five weeks got an eggwitch, at least no one she knows. She thinks that someone must be stealing them. Back at their dorm, Jaden is choosing what he hopes is a high card from a hand of poker cards and he does. Chumley asks if when the thief shows he'll have something on him but Jaden tells him it won't be grilled cheese and Alexis says it's true. Jaden then questions why Alexis is here and Syrus answers maybe her homework but Alexis is just waiting for the thief to show since maybe he has something to do with her missing brother and all the others. Dorothy walks in with stuffed pastries and Jaden suggests to pick what they want and for him it's strawberry. He picks, of course, strawberry.

Later that night, they watch and wait for the eggwitch thief. The thief shows and rummages for the eggwitch when the gang turn on the lights, revealing his form. The man races off with the cart of sandwiches, crashing through the garage door in the process. The gang chase after him when Dorothy calls out his name, Damon. Damon realizes this and falls back onto the bottom of the river below the waterfall. How does Dorothy know him? Dorothy explains that Damon was an Obelisk Blue. Damon says he's a new person now and tells of when he would go to actually dueling, he couldn't get the right card. Then something told him that he can get the right card. He had to become one with nature. Jaden proposes a duel and if Damon wins, he gets the sandwiches but if he loses, he must stop stealing them. Damon accepts, saying that he is a good drawer.

Jaden draws and plays Elemental Hero Avian (1000) in Attack Mode, then sets a card and ends his turn. Damon plays Drawler (????) in Attack Mode and by his effect, Damon can return cards to his deck and give his monster 500 ATK and DEF for each card. He returns 4 cards so Drawler's ATK and DEF become 2000. He attacks and destroys Avian, putting Jaden's score to 3000. Damon also explains that the monster Drawler destroys in battle goes to the bottom of the deck instead of the Graveyard. Jaden draws and plays Polymerization to summon Elemental Hero Rampart Blaster (2500) in Defense Mode. Next he uses her ability, letting her attack directly by halving her ATK. Damon's LPs drop to 3000. Damon activates Miracle Draw, forcing him to guess what card he's going to draw and if he guesses right, Jaden takes 1000 damage but if wrong, he takes the damage.

He says the card will be Card Loan and it is, so Jaden takes 1000 damage, leaving him with 2000 LPs. Then he plays Card Loan, giving Jaden 1000 LPs and dealing himself 1000 damage, putting Jaden's score to 3000 and his to 2000. Now he can draw 1 card but he must return 1 card from his hand to his deck at the end of his turn. Next he plays Drawber, which allows Jaden to draw a card and Damon guesses what it is. If he's right, all cards in Jaden's hand and field go back to his deck. He guesses De-Fusion and is once again right. He attacks directly, putting Jaden's score to 1000. Jaden plays Wroughtweiler (1200) in Defense Mode and ends his turn.

Damon uses the effect of Miracle Draw and says he'll draw Shield Crush but guesses wrong so his score drops to 1000. Then he plays Doron (900) in Attack Mode and attacks with his monsters, destroying Wroughtweiler and putting Jaden's score to 100. By destroying Wroughtweiler, Jaden can add Polymerization and Burstinatrix back to his hand. Jaden draws and uses Polymerization to summon Elemental Hero Flame Wingman (2100) in Attack Mode. He attacks Drawler with FW, destroying it and putting Damon's LPs to 900. Then he uses FW's ability, dealing Damon damager equal to half the ATK of his destroyed monster. Oops! It actually deals the opponent damage equal to the full attack as it has been in other duels but nonetheless, Damon's score drops to 0. Damon requests to have a haircut, and a shower. Dorothy adds a shirt to the list. Back inside DA, Jaden asks if anyone has drawn the eggwitch yet but Dorothy says no. Moments later, Alexis announces that she has drawn the eggwitch and Jaden offers to trade.
