As Duel Monsters fly through the air, Rebecca's grandfather Arthur Hawkins has made big discoveries broadcasts them worldwide. Weevil and Rex find one another, itching to get at Yami's God Cards but instead find trouble and pay the price. Later, a biker gang from Paradias HQ breaks in and steals the God Cards before draining them of their power. Yugi's grandpa admires the God Cards from his counter while Kaiba and Roland state that a press conference will try to explain the mysterious Duel Monsters flying through the skies. Yami gets word and finds himself involved in a Duel he cannot escape until it ends. Yami does well enough to bring out one of his strongest monsters but it proves no match for Obelisk, especially when it gets an ATK boost from a Field Spell that allows the owner 10 monsters at the same time.
