Episode 112: Merger of the Big Five (2)

Now facing Johnson and his Judge Man's ability, Yami and Joey quickly end up defenseless before facing a Spell Card that will get a Spell Card from The Big Five's Deck and cannot be destroyed by effects. Joey manages to taked own a monster before The Big FIve bring out something stronger. However, Yami has a plan that doesn't leave Joey confident at all. Even so, Johnson switches to Lector for the rest of the Duel and clears out Yami and Joey's Spell and Trap Cards. It was no surprise to Joey but there's a key moment for Yami as The Big Five are mostly unaware of what's happened until it's too late and they lose their monster. Lector regains the upper hand with his monster but it's taken down in short order.  By this time, 3 turns have passed since The Big Five's Spell Card was activated and now they have access to their most powerful monster.

Episode Cards

Deviations from the TCG
1. Players started with only 4000 LP and were forced to choose a monster to serve as their Deck Master.
2. If their Deck Master was destroyed, the Duelist lost the Duel automatically.
3. Players could move their Deck Masters to the field at any time during their turn.
4. Flame Swordsman was a Deck Master that could transfer any amount of its ATK to another monster on its owner's field.

5. Jinzo was also a Deck Master only negated the opponent's Trap Cards and destroyed all Trap Cards on the opponent's field when Summoned.

6. Sebek's Blessing worked when the opponent took any kind of Battle Damage.
7. Hysteric Fairy was called "Hysteric Angel" in the Dub.
8. Gravity Bind only prevented the opponent's Level 4+ monsters from attacking.
9. Heavy Storm only destroyed the opponent's Spell and Trap Cards on the field.
Errors
1. Although Yami Tribute Summons Dark Magician Girl, there's no sign of Big Shield Gardna at the time, nor the animation of it being used for a Tribute Summon.

2. In the Dub, Yami simply says he Summons Dark Magician Girl without stating what he Tributed for it.
