Episode 83: The Dark Spirit Revealed (2)

Yami decides to take aim at what little LP Bakura has left but ends up losing LP instead while Bakura gains some and has thwarted Yami's attack. Bakura then plays a Trap Card that can end the Duel in 5 turns and a Spell Card that limits both players' number of attacks. Since Dark Sanctuary is still out, Bakura also has to Tribute a monster to maintain the card's benefits and does so. Yami puts a weak defense out before learning of the 2nd card to Bakura's Trap Card series. Bakura continues to do little more than Tribute a monster to maintain his Field Spell until Yami decides to attack with the non-chosen monster. As a result, Bakura uses a Trap Card to change it to the randomly chosen monster.

However, Yami manages to find a way to turn the tables with a single Trap Card that forces his Kuriboh to become their target, then takes everything attached to Kuriboh at once with another Spell Card. Furthermore, Yami puts an end to Dark Sanctuary's effects by reviving the 1 card Bakura would rather keep in the Graveyard.Luckily for Bakura, he draws a card capable of reversing all the damage Yami has done to his strategy and now Yami's victory is really in jeopardy.
