Duelist Pack: Dimensional Guardians
DPDG-EN001
Spiral Flame Strike
Normal Spell
Activate 1 of these effects;
● If you control an "Odd-Eyes" card: Target 1 card on the field; destroy it.
● Add to your hand, 1 Level 7 "Odd-Eyes" monster from your Deck, or 1 face-up Level 7 "Odd-Eyes" Pendulum Monster from your Extra Deck.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Modelled after the dub attack name of Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon but isn't restrained to it with its effect. Regardless, it's not that great since not many Odd-Eyes monsters can be searched with this.
Dinosmasher's Fury Structure Deck
SR04-EN030
Survival's End
Normal Trap
Destroy as many Normal Monsters on the field as possible, and if you do, Special Summon Level 4 or lower Dinosaur-Type monsters from your Deck, up to the number destroyed, but destroy them during the End Phase. You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 Dinosaur-Type monster you control and 1 card your opponent controls; destroy them.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: This probably won't help you much in most cases, though it works with any Normal Monsters. Still, I wouldn't really risk it with this because whatever Dinos you bring out wi th this don't stay long and the very last effect isn't that great either.
SR04-EN021
Lost World
Field Spell
All monsters on the field lose 500 ATK and DEF, except Dinosaur-Type monsters. Once per turn, if a Dinosaur-Type monster is Normal or Special Summoned (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon 1 "Jurraegg Token" (Dinosaur-Type/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) to your opponent's field in Defense Position. While your opponent controls a Token, they cannot target monsters on the field with card effects, except Tokens. Once per turn, if a Normal Monster(s) on the field would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can destroy that many Dinosaur-Type monsters in your hand and/or Deck instead.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Your opponent probably won't keep the Token for long as they're given it for free once a Dinosaur is Normal or Special Summoned. The ATK and DEF loss isn't very much but may help if you control one of the stronger Dinos like Black Tyranno. The last effect only applies to Normal Monsters, though and will cost you Dinosaur monsters just to save those monsters.
SR04-EN006
Ultimate Tyranno
EARTH / Dinosaur / Level 8 / ATK 3000 / DEF 2200
This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls, once each. During your Battle Phase, if you control an "Ultimate Tyranno" that can attack, monsters other than "Ultimate Tyranno" cannot attack.
COMMON
Rating: 3
Comments: The loop used by Syrus and Hassleberry the 2nd season of the GX Anime that uses this card is no more and you're free to attack with it however you like. The catch is now that your other monsters can't do as much while this guy is able to attack.
SR04-EN003
Megalosmasher X
WATER / Dinosaur / Level 4 / ATK 2000 / DEF 0
With its sound-baffling armor and gargantuan jaws, this primeval predator's phosphorescence was the only possible pardon for its primitive prey.
COMMON
Rating: 3
Comments: While in Attack Mode, its 2000 ATK will probably take down most opposition of its Level or less but that 0 DEF will still leave it vulnerable to weaker opposition whle in Defense Mode.
SR04-EN002

Souleating Oviraptor
DARK / Dinosaur / Level 4 / ATK 1800 / DEF 500
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can take 1 Dinosaur-Type monster from your Deck, and either add it to your hand or send it to the Graveyard. You can target 1 other Level 4 or lower Dinosaur-Type monster on the field; destroy it, then Special Summon 1 Dinosaur-Type monster from your Graveyard in Defense Position. You can only use each effect of "Souleating Oviraptor" once per turn.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 3
Comments: Being able to have access to any Dinosaur in your Deck really helps you out, especially with the likes of Super Conductor Tyranno, Ultimate Conductor Tyranno and Ultimate Tyranno to choose from. The other effect isn't all that good but this guy's ATK and low Level sure are.
SR04-EN001
Ultimate Conductor Tyranno
LIGHT / Dinosaur / Level 10 / ATK 3500 / DEF 3200
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 2 Dinosaur-Type monsters from your Graveyard. Once per turn, during either player's Main Phase: You can destroy 1 monster in your hand or field, and if you do, change all face-up monsters your opponent controls to face-down Defense Position. This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls, once each. At the start of the Damage Step, if this card attacks a Defense Position monster: You can inflict 1000 damage to your opponent, and if you do, send that Defense Position monster to the Graveyard.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 3
Comments: Relatively easy to Summon and its 2nd effect can set you up to deal major damage with the 3rd effect by striking down all your opponent's monsters in one Battle Phase for the mere price of one monster in your hand. Plus you can then later bring it back and repeat the process.
SR04-EN000
Petiteranodon
EARTH / Dinosaur / Level 2 / ATK 500 / DEF 500
If this card is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard: Special Summon 1 Level 4 or higher Dinosaur-Type monster from your Deck, but it cannot attack this turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: The effect gives you lots to choose from but only if destroyed and sent to the Grave by a card effect.
Machine Reactor Structure Deck
SR03-EN022
Ancient Gear Fortress
Continuous Spell
During the turn they were Normal or Special Summoned, your opponent cannot target "Ancient Gear" monsters you control with card effects, and they cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to the activation of "Ancient Gear" cards and effects. If this card is destroyed in the Spell & Trap Zone: You can Special Summon 1 "Ancient Gear" monster from your hand or Graveyard, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except "Ancient Gear" monsters.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Ancient Gear monsters have long-awated support like this because up until now, they really didn't have much protection. This allows them to hit the field and use their effects without fear that turn. Plus bringing out any Ancient Gear monster from virtually anywhere in your possession once this gets destroyed isn't that bad, even if you're only allowed to Special Summon Ancient Gears that turn.
SR03-EN021
Ancient Gear Catapult
Normal Spell
While you control no monsters: Target 1 face-up card you control; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Ancient Gear" monster from your Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions. You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 face-up card you control; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Ancient Gear Token" (Machine-Type/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0). You can only use 1 "Ancient Gear Catapult" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Even Gear Golem and Gadjiltron Dragon can be brought out with this and it can help get rid of a card that is hurting your chances at victory or just unneeded, though I wouldn't recommend getting rid of one of your cards to get a Token, unless that destroyed card can benefit you when destroyed.
SR03-EN003

Ancient Gear Wyvern
EARTH / Machine / Level 4 / ATK 1700 / DEF 1200
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Ancient Gear" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Ancient Gear Wyvern", also you cannot Set cards for the rest of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Ancient Gear Wyvern" once per turn. If this card attacks, your opponent's monsters cannot activate their effects until the end of the Damage Step.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Being unable to Set cards the turn you get an Ancient Gear card with its effect does hurt you quite a but since you'll be quite vulnerable if you don't have any cards Set beforehand. Plus with only 1700 ATK, it's quite vulerable too.
SR03-EN002

Ancient Gear Hydra
EARTH / Machine / Level 7 / ATK 2700 / DEF 1700
At the end of the Damage Step, when this card that was Tribute Summoned by Tributing an "Ancient Gear" monster battles an opponent's monster, but the opponent's monster was not destroyed by the battle: You can banish that opponent's monster. If this card was Tribute Summoned by Tributing a "Gadget" monster, it can attack all monsters your opponent controls, once each. If an "Ancient Gear" monster you control attacks, your opponent's Spell/Trap Cards and monster effects cannot be activated until the end of the Damage Step.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Like Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon, this guy won't help you much unless you meet the criteria for the first two effect(s) it has to offer but while weaker, at least it comes with the last effect that Reactor Dragon has and can rid the field of a pesky opponent's monster that survived an attack from it.
SR03-EN001
Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon
EARTH / Machine / Level 9 / ATK 3000 / DEF 3000
If this card that was Tribute Summoned by Tributing an "Ancient Gear" monster attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. If this card was Tribute Summoned by Tributing a "Gadget" monster, it can make a second attack during each Battle Phase. If this card attacks, your opponent's Spell/Trap Cards and monster effects cannot be activated until the end of the Damage Step. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked: You can destroy 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 3
Comments: It has to be Tribute Summoned with an Ancient Gear monster to gain even the 1st effect or a Gadget monster obtain the 2nd but it still has 3000 ATK and DEF and can be Summoned any way you like to have worry-free attacks.
SR03-EN000

Ancient Gear Gadget
EARTH / Machine / Level 4 / ATK 500 / DEF 2000
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can declare 1 card type (Monster, Spell, or Trap); this turn, if a monster you control attacks, your opponent's Spell Cards, Trap Cards, or monster effects (whichever was declared) cannot be activated until the end of the Damage Step. Once per turn: You can declare 1 "Gadget" monster's card name; until the End Phase, this card's name becomes that name.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Its DEF will aid in its survival but its effects are rather mediocre since it'll only stop the type of card that you declare and only during the Damage Step. The other effect doesn't do much good either, except maybe to obtain the bonus effects for the Gadjiltron Dragon or Chimera.
OTS Tournament Pack 4
OP04-EN022
Marine Beast
WATER / Fish-Type Fusion / Level 5 / ATK 1700 / DEF 1600
"Water Magician" + "Behegon"
SHORT PRINT COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Of course, the only viable use with this is included as an Ultimate Rare but contrary to how mean it looks, it's little more than a guppy when compared to monsters released today.
Duelist Saga (Continued)
DUSA-EN075
Goyo Guardian
EARTH / Warrior-Type Synchro / Level 6 / ATK 2800 / DEF 2000
1 EARTH Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon that monster to your field in Defense Position.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: That one change to make it require an EARTH Tuner monster reduces its uses drastically as it now will require more thought as to where to use it. The effect, Level, and stats have stayed the same, though it won't be able to grab as many monsters as it used to.
DUSA-EN073
Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
WATER / Sea Serpent-Type Synchro / Level 6 / ATK 2300 / DEF 1400
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
You can discard any number of cards to the Graveyard, then target the same number of cards your opponent controls; return those cards to the hand. You can only use this effect of "Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" once per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 3
Comments: For me, the card's erratum doesn't change how I use it but there's enough of a change to warrant me to rate it again as now the loops that made it broken can no longer be made. Of course, since it didn't get any other changes, it's still decent enough to use.
DUSA-EN062

Future Fusion
Continuous Spell
During your 1st Standby Phase after this card's activation: Show 1 Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck and send the Fusion Materials listed on it from your Main Deck to the Graveyard. During your 2nd Standby Phase after this card's activation: Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck with the same name as the monster you showed, and target it with this card. When this card leaves the field, destroy that target. When that target is destroyed, destroy this card.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: The extra delay before you even send Fusion Materials is plenty of time for it to be destroyed before any benefits are gained, which makes the card completely useless.
DUSA-EN049

Imperial Order
Continuous Trap
Negate all Spell effects on the field. Once per turn, during the Standby Phase, you must pay 700 LP (this is not optional), or this card is destroyed.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Now you have no way out once it's activated except a Trap or Monster effect as you're forced to pay the fee during all Standby Phases of the Duel until you're down to 700 or less LP.
DUSA-EN046
Brain Control
Normal Spell
Pay 800 LP, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls that can be Normal Summoned/Set; take control of that target until the End Phase.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: With all the various ways people Special Summon, this card has become worthless thanks to its recent erratum that forces the owner to only gain control of monsters that can be Normal Summoned or Set.
