Secret Slayers
SESL-EN004

Adamancipator Crystal - Leonite
FIRE / Rock / Level 4 / ATK 0 / DEF 2200
If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of an "Adamancipator" card: You can place 1 "Adamancipator" card from your hand or GY on top of the Deck. If this card is in your GY: You can target 1 FIRE Synchro Monster you control or in your GY; return it to the Extra Deck, and if you do, place this card on top of the Deck. You can only use each effect of "Adamancipator Crystal - Leonite" once per turn.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: A super-heated Rock that proves it's not any better.
SESL-EN003

Adamancipator Analyzer
EARTH / Rock-Type Tuner / Level 4 / ATK 1500 / DEF 700
If only your opponent controls a monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. During your Main Phase: You can excavate the top 5 cards of your Deck, and if you do, you can Special Summon 1 excavated Level 4 or lower non-Tuner Rock monster, also place the rest on the bottom of your Deck in any order. You can only use each effect of "Adamancipator Analyzer" once per turn.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Giant Rat is already friends with it and it's a Level 4 Tuner but my analysis shows it's not any better than the previous two.
SESL-EN002

Adamancipator Researcher
EARTH / Rock-Type Tuner / Level 2 / ATK 100 / DEF 2100
If you control a Rock monster, except "Adamancipator Researcher": You can Special Summon this card from your hand. During your Main Phase: You can excavate the top 5 cards of your Deck, and if you do, you can Special Summon 1 excavated Level 4 or lower non-Tuner Rock monster, also place the rest on the bottom of your Deck in any order. You can only use each effect of "Adamancipator Researcher" once per turn.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: The 2100 DEF and being a Tuner make this guy okay too but that's all he's going to get from me.
SESL-EN001

Adamancipator Seeker
EARTH / Rock-Type Tuner / Level 2 / ATK 1200 / DEF 1000
If you control an "Adamancipator" monster, except "Adamancipator Seeker": You can Special Summon this card from your hand. During your Main Phase: You can excavate the top 5 cards of your Deck, and if you do, you can Special Summon 1 excavated Level 4 or lower non-Tuner Rock monster, also place the rest on the bottom of your Deck in any order. You can only use each effect of "Adamancipator Seeker" once per turn.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Looks like they're a bunch of Rock-Type monsters but they aren't all that good.
Duel Overload (Continued)
DUOV-EN056

Mayakashi Mayhem
Continuous Trap
If a Zombie Synchro Monster(s) is Special Summoned, except from the Extra Deck, even during the Damage Step: You can apply 1 of the following effects. You cannot apply that same effect of "Mayakashi Mayhem" for the rest of this turn.
● Draw 1 card.
● Set 1 "Mayakashi" Spell/Trap directly from your Deck, except "Mayakashi Mayhem".
● Send the 1 monster with the lowest ATK your opponent controls to the GY (your choice, if tied).
● Inflict 800 damage to your opponent.
You can only activate the effect of "Mayakashi Mayhem" once per Chain.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: We don't have Card of Safe Return anymore and unless that gets the erratum of death, it's not going to return to Dueling. This card doesn't do any good either as it's specific to Zombie Synchros and each effect is once per turn. Plus you won't get anything if that Synchro is brought out from the Extra Deck.
DUOV-EN055
Hollow Giants
Continuous Spell
Activate this card only if both players control a monster that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck. Negate the effects of face-up monsters Special Summoned from the Extra Deck. If a monster(s) is destroyed by battle involving 2 monsters that were Special Summoned from the Extra Deck: Send this card to the GY, also the player(s) who controlled the destroyed monster(s) takes 1000 damage.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Regardless of what monster you control, you're still risking the damage even though you played it. Pointless as a whole.
DUOV-EN054

Traptrix Genlisea
EARTH / Plant / Level 4 / ATK 1200 / DEF 1600
Unaffected by the effects of "Hole" Normal Traps. You can Tribute this card; Set 2 "Hole" Normal Traps with different names, 1 from your Deck and 1 from your GY, but banish them when they leave the field. You can only use this effect of "Traptrix Genlisea" once per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: No one would use a "Hole" Normal Trap on this card anyway. It's pointless to get 2 cards that are going to be plain as day for your opponent to counter and anticipate.
DUOV-EN053
Relinquished Anima
DARK / Spellcaster-Type Link / ATK 0 / Link-1
Active Link Arrow(s): Top
1 Level 1 monster, except a Token
You can target 1 face-up monster this card points to; equip that face-up monster to this card (max. 1). You can only use this effect of "Relinquished Anima" once per turn. This card gains ATK equal to that equipped monster's.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: There's a reason why the original is better. It's because it can take any opponent's monster and requires the same amount of effort. Plus, it can also protect itself from destruction in battle whereas this guy can't do a thing. It also doesn't have any DEF printed on the card and can't be in Defense Mode.
DUOV-EN052
Card of Fate
Normal Spell
Each player chooses 1 card from their Deck, then each player combines it with 4 additional random cards chosen from their Deck by their opponent, then randomly selects 1 of those 5 cards to reveal and add to their hand. Shuffle the rest back into the Decks. You can only activate 1 "Card of Fate" per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Regardless of what you get, it's more effort than drawing cards and hoping for the best.
DUOV-EN051
Cubic Causality
Normal Trap
Distribute a number of Cubic Counters on face-up monsters your opponent controls, up to the number of "Cubic" monsters you control. (Monsters with a Cubic Counter cannot attack, also negate their effects.) You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 "Cubic" monster you control; this turn, each time it destroys a monster by battle that has a Cubic Counter, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the original ATK of that destroyed monster. You can only use each effect of "Cubic Causality" once per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: At least they can have the same name but you won't be distributing many counters unless you have a Deck filled with Cubics and that's just not ideal.
DUOV-EN050
Cubic Dharma
Continuous Spell
You take no battle damage from attacks involving your "Cubic" monsters. You can only use each of the following effects of "Cubic Dharma" once per turn, during your Main Phase:
● You can send 1 "Cubic" card from your hand to the GY, and if you do, draw 1 card.
● You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 "Cubic" monster in your GY; add it to your hand.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Even with Vijam, there's no reason to use this as that card has many more generic cards to support it than this. You're not really missing out on anything by leaving this out of your Deck.
DUOV-EN049
Malefic Territory
Continuous Spell
When this card is activated: You can activate 1 "Malefic World" from your Deck. While that card is in the Field Zone, neither player can target a card(s) in the Field Zone with card effects. The "Malefic" monster effect, "There can only be 1 face-up "Malefic" monster on the field" becomes "There can only be 1 face-up "Malefic" monster on the field with the same name". During the Battle Phase, negate the effects of face-up "Malefic" monsters on the field.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: What's the point in this card when it doesn't really protect Malefics at all? We already have Field Barrier, which also prevents a Field Spell's destruction too. It's also not specific to Malefic-based cards.
DUOV-EN048
Malefic Paradox Gear
DARK / Machine / Level 1 / ATK 0 / DEF 0
If a face-up Field Spell is on the field: You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Malefic Parallel Gear" from your Deck, then, add 1 "Malefic" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Malefic Paradox Gear". If a "Malefic" monster would banish a monster to Special Summon itself by its own way, you can banish this card you control or in your GY instead. You can only use each effect of "Malefic Paradox Gear" once per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Its gears are clearly worn down to the point of being useless or were never designed properly in the first place because Malefics can't survive on their own or with this guy.
DUOV-EN047
Cubic Ascension
Normal Trap
When an opponent's monster declares an attack: Special Summon 1 "Vijam the Cubic Seed" from your Deck, and if you do, change the attack target to it, and perform damage calculation. If your opponent's LP are at least 2000 higher than yours: You can banish this card from your GY; Special Summon 1 "Vijam the Cubic Seed" from your hand, Deck, or GY, then, if only your opponent controlled a monster when this effect was activated, you can Special Summon up to 2 more "Vijam the Cubic Seed". You can only use this effect of "Cubic Ascension" once per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 3
Comments: Thank goodness it supports the only decent Cubic monster of the Archetype by bringing it out from just about anywhere.
DUOV-EN046
Malefic Tune
Normal Trap
If a face-up "Malefic" monster(s) you control is destroyed by battle or an opponent's card effect: Draw 2 cards. If a face-up "Malefic" monster(s) you control is destroyed, while this card is in your GY (except during the Damage Step): You can banish this card from your GY; add 1 "Malefic" monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Malefic Tune" once per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: No Malefic monster is worth using this with, even for drawing 2 cards since you wasted cards to bring them out, making those 2 cards not free at all.
DUOV-EN045
Malefic Selector
Normal Spell
Banish 2 "Malefic" cards from your GY; add 2 "Malefic" cards from your Deck to your hand, except "Malefic Selector", with different names from each other and from the banished cards. You can only activate 1 "Malefic Selector" per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Want to try actually winning a Duel? Try Blackwings.
DUOV-EN044

Malefic Divide
Quick-Play Spell
Target 1 "Malefic" monster in your GY; Special Summon it, ignoring its Summoning conditions, but its effects are negated, also banish it during the End Phase.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Malefics are a garbage Archetype and this only proves my point further.
DUOV-EN043

Graveyard of Wandering Souls
Continuous Trap
If this card is already face-up on the field:
● If a monster you control is destroyed by battle and sent to the GY: Special Summon 1 "Fireball Token" (Pyro/FIRE/Level 1/ATK 100/DEF 100).
● If a monster(s) in your hand and/or field is sent to the GY by an opponent's card effect: Special Summon as many "Fireball Tokens" as possible, up to the number of sent monsters. You can only use this effect of "Graveyard of Wandering Souls" once per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Highly vulnerable and will likely Special Summon less Tokens than you need. Scapegoat and Scapeghost can Special Summon plenty for nothing and are much less vulnerable.
DUOV-EN042
Enma's Judgment
Normal Trap
When your opponent Special Summons a monster(s): Destroy it, then you can banish 5 Zombie monsters from your GY, and if you do, Special Summon 1 Level 7 or higher Zombie monster from your hand or Deck.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: If you have to get rid of monsters, use Bottomless Trap Hole or negate the Summon outright.
DUOV-EN041

Synchro Transcend
Quick-Play Spell
Target 1 Synchro Monster your opponent controls; Special Summon 1 Synchro Monster that is 1 Level higher than it from your Extra Deck, but it cannot activate its effects this turn. You can only activate 1 "Synchro Transcend" per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: The Synchro can't use its effects and you're screwing yourself over during your opponent's turn or yours. Not a smart decision to implement during a Duel.
