Comments: The effects aren't bad until you read that all monsters are destroyed when it gets destroyed and it also has somewhat specific Fusion Materials.

Comments: Relatively easy to Summon and has some pretty decent effects but the first effect isn't likely to be activated too often without giving the opponent's monsters a Predator Counter.

You can only use this effect of "Predaplant Chlamydosundew" once per turn.

Comments: This could help with Fusion Summoning but in order to use the opponent's monsters, they need to have a Predator Counter on them first and this guy doesn't give them any.

Comments: The 1800 ATK is nice and of course it makes the opponent's monster prime to be used for the arrival of Drosophyllum Hydra but that 0 DEF won't help it in Defense Mode and the 2nd effect is pretty specific.

When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; place 1 Predator Counter on it, and if it is Level 2 or higher, it becomes Level 1 as long as it has a Predator Counter. Once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls with a Level less than or equal to this card's; take control of it until the End Phase.

Comments: With 2100 DEF, it has a higher chance of inflicting Battle Damage to your opponent and thus placing the Predator Counter but unless the effect is successful, you won't be taking any monsters by its effect.

You can Special Summon this card (from your hand or Graveyard) by Tributing 1 monster on either player's field with a Predator Counter. During either player's turn, if this card is on the field or in the Graveyard: You can banish 1 other "Predaplant" monster from your Graveyard, then target 1 monster on the field; it loses 500 ATK. You can only use this effect of "Predaplant Drosophyllum Hydra" once per turn.

Comments: Bringing it out by its effect isn't so bad but you're still required to Tribute a monster either way and the ATK loss isn't very high.

Comments: It probably won't survive the direct attack but you can at least take out the monster that destroyed it and then get another Predaplant or support card.

Comments: The one-time card negation can be pretty deadly but that'll only happen if this guy is Pendulum Summoned and being Level 7, you need a pretty high Scale or drop its Level to achieve that. Unfortunately, none of the D/D/D or D/D monsters have a high enough scale that isn't hindered by Archetype Bias, except for Proud Ogre but he sucks anyway.

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 "D/D" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except Fiend-Type monsters. That monster's ATK and DEF become 0. If it is destroyed, you take 1000 damage.

Comments: Trust me, you do NOT want to use the effect, even if you plan on getting rid of the monster by other ways as you still run the risk of the new monster being destroyed and this guy doesn't have a lot to help save you from further damage.

Comments: If you've seen my previous ratings for D/D monsters, you'll know I don't often rate them that high and that will mean your choices won't be that high either, at least not in my view. The 2100 DEF will certainly help regardless though.

When this card is Pendulum Summoned from the hand, while you control a "D/D" monster other than "D/D Cerberus": You can target 1 Continuous Spell Card in your Graveyard; add it to your hand.

Comments: The Scale isn't that great but its low Level and high ATK are enough to grant this guy the standard rating for monsters like it, albeit a bit higher on the rating though.

Once per turn, if a monster(s) you control is destroyed by battle or by card effect: You can target 1 of those monsters; this card gains ATK equal to that monster's original ATK until the end of this turn. This card cannot attack your opponent directly during the turn this effect is activated. Cannot be destroyed by Spell/Trap effects that do not target this card.

Comments: You may not always be able to make use of its Scale but that Monster Text sure has two effects that make it worthwhile and its ATK is certainly worthwhile.

If this card is in your hand or Graveyard: You can send 1 "D/D" or "Dark Contract" card from your hand or face-up from your field to the Graveyard, except "D/D Lamia"; Special Summon this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. You can only use this effect of "D/D Lamia" once per turn.

Comments: You don't have to Special Summon it by its effect (and I wouldn't recommend it) and it does have higher DEF than most monsters of its Level, not to mention is a Tuner monster but really not much better than even the non-Tuners with high DEF.
